@micki48 Steps today (Thursday) 7,120
Even though I drive for 5 hours round trip, I had some good walking with Monica.
My rainbow for the day evened out after a very tan breakfast and lunch. Supper had reds, purples, green, and orange.
More tomorrow. Sleep well!6 -

I was hoping for a loss but at least it's not a gain. I sure hope I get a woosh soon as I'm trying really hard and stayed under calories 5 out of 7 days. A bit disappointed but not giving up!
Must take on the rainbow challenge. Besides all the health benefits, I think I might be able to convince my boys to try something new.
Have a great weekend everyone!!7 -
Well my day was going great yesterday then spur of the moment I went to a friend's to have a glass of wine (in empathy with her crappy diagnosis of intersticial cystitis), later came home to see an open bag of Lays low salt potato chips and I gave in....to a lot. So that day is over and done with - I won't indulge in that for months again. Last fall as I built up to my top weight in January - it was wine and sitting at the computer in the evening blindly stuffing my face with those potato chips. Yesterday was the first time I've had them since Jan. My sister brought over the bag for my mum.(I left her some, ha!)
So that's it, today will be better. A little cooler today and after work I'll try to resurrect the blown down damaged screenhouse for mum this afternoon - it was a nice space for her to visit with a neighbor.

oh and back to my dry August. Next time I'll bring my mason jar of lemonade. I could do without waking up thirsty at 3 am and this slight headache. Having done great with the dry July, I felt a little leeway with August but that's it!!2

Yesterday was good, stayed on track Dinner was okay, I wouldn't order that again... I made up my missed exercise in the morning, and did the pilates, LBF was an off day..
Didn't exercise this morning, since it's only a partial work day, I will do it when I get home, because thankfully, I have nothing to do this evening..
Have a great day !

Thursday check in...
I’m over 10,000 steps for the 4th day in a row. Woot!
I logged all my food, closed my diary, and was under calories. Yay!
I did 32 minutes of an aerobic step workout. Yippee!
My 🌈
Tomatoes, green grapes, lettuce, green peppers, red/purple onions, yellow corn, red pepper, green edamame, black olives, brown lentils, cucumbers, white ice cream 🍦🤣
More thunderstorms here tonight.
You are on a roll!! I had a terrible Thursday, so today you are my mojo whisperer. Gotta get this back on track! I'm joining the weekend step challenge with you all on fitbit after taking a break from those for a while. That will help!2 -

OK - we're in this boat together. I had a drink last night too, and ate weirdly all day yesterday - TODAY we are going to have a perfect day, and plan for that time when having some indulgence or another sounds like a good idea. Because it is not. Sending hugs!4 -
I'm off to the dentist on my lunch break today as a kind of last minute thing, so I'm skipping lunch. I had a big breakfast so send positive vibes my way so I don't binge at dinner.
Actually send any kind of positive vibes, I'm terrified of dentists. =P
Woke up to blinding lightning and thunder, so today is honestly not off to the most awesome start.4 -
Friday weigh-in:
PW: 177
CW: 176
I thought I might be down a bit more but dinner plans last night were more than expected. I'm still happy with 1 pound, though!
Yesterday it rained all day, but I was trapped at the computer most of the day anyway at a Google Classroom workshop. So my step count was dismal. I'll make up for it today, though! Think positive.
Have a great day, everyone. Here comes the weekend!8 -
Missymouse75 wrote: »Hi loving catching up reading everyone's chat on here, my first week on the group.
Would it be ok if I changed my weigh-in day to a Thursday? I've weighed this morning at 12st 1.6lb's (169.6lb) - it's actually my Birthday today and I am 0.6lb of a lb heavier than I was this time last year - yes could be worse but to be honest considering I've been "dieting" everyday it could've been a lot better!!
Anyway onwards and downwards, goals for the upcoming week are proper accurate tracking, getting steps in and controlling wine consumption which doesn't help with extra calories and then leading to extra snacking!!
Hope everyone else is having a great day xxx
Hi @Missymouse75 ! Actually, you are not on this team! You are with team WeightNoMore, so I'll make sure they know you are coming and want to change your day to Thursday. Here is the link to their team chat thread:

Head on over there, and they will be more than happy to see you! I am sure they have been wondering where you are
Oh yes I realise now, i think I may have actually posted in both groups and different points in time!! Thanks and sorry for hijacking your group!3 -
Hi team! I pray everyone is safe and healthy. Crazy busy week here now that teachers are back on contract. I've worked 14 hour days the last 2 days. It ain't happening today, so help me God!
Anyway, here are my stats:

So I guess my calorie deficit plan is working, even though things got rough Wednesday and Thursday this week. Here's my updated chart:
What I learned this week is to be aware of the stressful situations and how I respond to them. Mindless, excessive eating does not alleviate the stress at all, so why bother, right? The goal for next week is to be more intentional to have a calorie deficit of >100 every single day.6 -
I did absolutely awful yesterday 😣 half a bag of doritos, 3 small bowls of chili, and 1/4 batch of peanut butter chocolate oatmeal cookies, i’m not even gonna try to calculate that. i’m really upset about that honestly, my weight went from 120.6 to 123.2 overnight and even though I know it’s mostly just food and water weight, it sucks seeing that on the scale in the morning. today is GOING to be better, i’m sure of it9

@jugar I have total confidence that you and @eggfreak will get back on track today. I admire the two of you for your consistency and motivation. I know you can do this.
@Terytha Sending loads of good vibes your way. You've got this you awesome woman! Hope all goes well and dinner is fabulous.
@KellyBgetsfit Hope you are doing ok. I'm sure it is quite stressful for you right now. Check in when you can and let us know how you are doing. We are here for you. And also to all my teacher friends here...I know this is a VERY tough time for all of you. Sending you good thoughts and virtual hugs as you begin to navigate yet another first. My heart is with you as a teacher as well.
Rainy again here today. @jugar I'm honored to be the one whispering in your ear. I have had a very good week statistically. However, I did hop on the scale this morning and I was up over a pound. That doesn't make me happy and it's exactly why I try to stay away from the scale during the week. So, we'll see what tomorrow shows. I've seen it come down before from one day to the next. If not, I know I did all the right things.
J is sleeping. Need to go get some steps and exercise. Talk to you all later.0 -

Hey Team!
I'm still here - just been very lethargic these past few days. I wake up, work out, then sit at my computer for hours on end. I know I should take hourly breaks and build in some activity, but I find it really difficult to drag myself away from my own self-imposed targets. I drag myself away for a spot of lunch and supper, but by then I find myself too tired to do anything else.
Got to find a better way!
Happy Friday, all!8 -
My dentist appointment was fine. And my dentist remains the nicest dentist in the universe.
But I'm so hungry. I'm not gonna make it guys. I can feel myself wasting away where I sit. My stomach has wrapped around my spine and I have only minutes to live I'm sure. Tell my broccoli farewell.4 -

I took @evangsimmons170 idea, and I made my own calendar with W, L, CD, SN. Weight, log, calorie deficit, snack?? It's my own accountability sheet. So far so good. I have weekends marked as free days along with a 4-day weekend next week.6 -
Picture it. There I was driving along minding my own business when a lovely, lemony aroma started wafting through my car. It made me smile. But the smell kept getting stronger. I had just passed a laundromat, so I thought maybe they were having some mechanical malfunctions of some sort that was making the air smell so lemony fresh. Then I thought I remembered hearing about some rare disease where one of the symptoms is smelling stuff no one else can smell...dont laugh at my imagination...it's been a rough week. Lol. After driving a few more blocks, I had to crack a window because the scent was becoming overpowering. Then it hit me!!!! I pulled over to the side of the road, got out and opened my trunk. I discovered that the cap of one of the huge bottles of lemon pinesol that I just picked up from Sam's had completely come off and ALL of the lemon pinesol except for about a cupful was now soaking down into the stiff, carpeted thing that covers my spare tire and tools. But wait there's more. I drove the rest of the way home. Pulled into the garage and started sopping up the pinesol. Would you believe it started lathering up on the hard carpet thing????!!!!!!😳🤪 I contemplated leaving the trunk open so it could dry out but bees love lemon I learned.😧 Thankfully I escaped with my life and the best smelling car this side of the Mississippi. Ya just can't make this stuff up!!!!😂😂😂10

Sorry I have been AWOL this week. Monday evening we had to say goodbye to one of our beloved 18 year old cats and then we ended up having to deal with a family situation that has arisen for another couple days. Add in 16 hours in the car & truck and the week has simply vanished.
But I have been being careful with what I eat and getting some exercise but honestly have not had the inclination to log anything. I am honestly surprised that today's weigh in turned out green. But I am looking forward to getting things back on track in the coming days.
Reading everybody's posts I can see there are a lot of us needing hugs right now so big hugs to everyone who wants one.
Also love the "eat the rainbow" thing that is going on. I'm going to have to give that a try when things sort.5 -
I’m going kayaking tomorrow. I’m not sure I’ll remember to weigh in since I’ll be up early.2

Too funny. I can just imagine the moment you realized what it might be!2 -

How nice to have the nicest dentist in the universe.
Google Tim Conway, dentist sketch on youtube - always good for a laugh.
I hope you found a good broccoli substitute a little reward for braving the dentist.1 -
What a great read! Everything from crying broccoli and stomach-wrapped spinal columns, to Rhonda running away from a swarm of bees loving on her lemon scented car trunk! This has certainly thrown some serious smiling into everyone's day. Although I am sure the storytelling made both way more fun than they were to live through!
I hope that after your trip and some crazy days that things will calm down, @CanadianGiraffe - I think that working on eating your way through the rainbow will be a wonderful restorative.
Do you all know how many GREEN numbers there are so far this week?
I had a lovely but slightly crazy day today - including a swim at a totally secluded spot along the St. François river. This spot is known to a few people, I'm sure, but I have never seen anyone there. You have to hike in, and then you have your choice of deep-ish water with light current, and shallower with quite a lovely floating ride through several twists and turns. The current gets pretty intense, but then you can get up, walk back, and do it all again! I needed some water therapy, so luckily it was a beautiful day when I had 3 hours to wait around between 2 different appointments.
No worries if you are weighing-in late @lovethyneighbor - if I don't see one by Sunday morning when I'm doing tallies, I'll just carry you over from last week. Early morning kayaking is always a good excuse!4 -
I will close my day here with the reminders!
Still due for today:
@KellyBgetsFit
@Steph1498
Due Saturday - and remember, you can't be late when you're a Saturday person! I do the tallies bright and early on Sunday morning, so no matter what time zone you're in, just get the weights posted here by the time your Saturday ends. If you miss that, Sunday morning cut off is 8:00 am Eastern (Canada/US). After that is OK, but it won't count in the team tallies - thanks!

I loved the stories too. Rhonda and Amber, you had me laughing out loud.
Our team is doing amazing this week! Way to go with all that green. 💚
I was able to get over 10,000 steps again today. 🙂👟👟 I did a 16 minute upper body & arms workout, then did about 15 minutes of kid yoga with my sweet granddaughter. It was her idea. 🧘🏻♀️ I logged all my food and closed it out.
Sure hope what I saw today when I stepped on the scale is not what I see tomorrow for my official weigh in. I need a loss.
My rainbow 🌈 today...
Red raspberries, yellow banana, green pepper, cucumber, lettuce, avocado, orange carrots, red 🍷, I can’t think of any blue or purple today.
@jugar your swim sounded lovely.
Have a great night!

I'm feeling horrible today and its only 7am
Feel like I messed up yesterday and haven't logged either. I've been weighing myself throughout the week and I'd lost but now im back up to where I started which is demotivating.
I've got a BBQ today as well so I'll miss my lunch and just eat at that for dinner. Already ate crisps and toast 😅4
