I tried to delete my first post, the picture didn’t open, but I couldn’t delete it. Sorry for the duplicate post!
Hope you’re ready for the weekend! 😊1 -
So with the cost of salad veggies here, I cheat a little and buy bags of ready made salad/coleslaw that come with a dressing you mix in after opening. I opened my coleslaw yesterday and no dressing in the bag. I hate dry cabbage and I am limited in dressings because of additives and migraine triggers, so I improvised. I mixed in some diced beetroot, plain unsweetened Greek yoghurt and just a touch of sweet chilli sauce that I know I can have (and happened to be in the fridge!) Came out so nice that I had it again today, and way less calories than its original dressing. Even hubby liked it. 🙂
I also recently discovered a couple of places selling peanut butter/almond butter powders. They were all the rage on here a few years back but we couldn't buy them in Aus/NZ. Not gonna lie, I was pretty excited to see them! So I've tried a few different flavours and just bought a strawberry cheesecake almond butter powder today. It actually tastes like cheesecake!
Food and water are ok. I have reverted back to calculating a calorie deficit from my TDEE because I like to have a steady calorie goal each day. I seem to have hit a 10-day weight plateau but I have been in a steady lifting routine for 3? weeks now and I know the math is right. I also know that as my weight drops I'm going to have ripped muscles to show again 💪so the scale can do what it will, I've got this 🤩3 -

Once again, I am ok with this gain. I have been careful, but not restrictive this vacation. I am up .7 lbs for the month, so maybe it will be a maintenance month. Will see how I do once I am back on the weekend.
@kirsten11872 - You look amazing and so happy too! Congratulations!!3 -
i actually thought i would have went up this week, i did eat a lot of pasta not sure why i was really craving it. i also had run out of fruit and didn't get over to the store. i was getting a lot of steps at the beginning of the week. tomorrow is going to be hot here so we are doing a lazy pool day, not many of those days left.
@kirsten11872 you look fantastic.3 -

@Mrsbell8well I am so impressed, the doll and outfits are beautiful! You are so talented!
@minstrelofsarcasm Yum! I bet that was a hit!
@nstephenson01 It can get boring and routine but seems like it is working for you and the weight is coming off. Hang in there, I know these are difficult times. xo
@kirsten11872 Whoo hoo! Looking good girl! More importantly, feeling good too!
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx What a great way to get your veggies in at a more reasonable cost. Even better being able to improvise and whip up a delicious dressing on your own. Sounds yummy! I know you will be successful with the calorie deficit. You got this!!
@ljdanny Nice job! Maintaining isn't a bad thing. Enjoy your pool day!
@Cafelelia That is an awesome weigh in for being on vacation. You have been doing great. I am sure once you are home and back in your routine that will come right off.

Weigh in Day Friday
Not been the greatest week was expecting a small loss. Works been kicking my butt doing between 6-9 miles a day I didn’t count calories for two days so maybe that’s it. I’m starting adding workouts to Monday Wednesday Friday next week so hopefully this helps. My best friend came up to see me so maybe eating out a few times this weekend but I’ll be looking for healthier options at the restaurants4 -
Just have to share a picture of my watermelon radishes. They are so dang cute!!!3 -
Hello & TGIF!😊
Thanks for all the wonderful compliments! Your continued support means so much!
Hope you’re all ready for the weekend! Nothing much planned, I have a hair appointment tomorrow morning, deciding if I should cut it or leave it long. The hubby is off today & tomorrow from both jobs, so maybe we will plan a date night.
Have a wonderful weekend!🥰❤️5 -
Hi everyone! So far I have had a pretty good week. I meal prepped breakfast and lunch all week and stuck to it! Dinners on the other hand have been my downfall. I can’t seem to find the proper way to handle this. I usually take Wayne his dinner at work and just grab something out. I need a better plan.
I have also exercised everyday, at least 30 mins of something. Usually the elliptical and the bike30 mins each, and some lifting when I’m with my trainer.
I did have my six month check up at my oncologist and so far so good... I’ve been having a few minor issues but she didn’t seem to be too concerned about them, so I’m good to go for three more months.
@lennoncpa it’s always great to see pictures of Sunny and your fosters! I love it when people bring their dogs into the store. I actually usually remember the animals names and have no idea who the owners are!
@nstephenson01 chocolate and peanut butter always slip me up! I couldn’t believe I already saw Reese’s pumpkins in the stores!
@sleepymom5 sometimes a break is just what you need to rejuvenate yourself and get back on track!
@Mrsbell8well I had to do a double take at those watermelon radishes! They look fabulous! I have never seen them before!

This is why I wish I liked radish. They are SO pretty. And I hate them.2 -
@timibotkin I bought them at Friendly city Co-op in Harrisonburg. I shop there often. Glad to hear your doing well.
@kirsten11872 that’s the Kirsten I remember. Your doing great. Reminds me of your Holiday picture. I think it was New Year’s Eve.
Loving being off work. Cleared to do yoga again. Did a session yesterday. Was up early grocery shopping. Starting to drag but I have a doctors appointment at 3.
Maybe I will have a short nap when I get back then do yoga a d PT exercises.
Very excited about dinner.
My first cooked food in almost 2 weeks. Making baked sweet potatoes, summer squash with onions, roasted mushrooms and broth sautéed greens.

My apologies for not checking in more today. I worked a lot, lost my bank card, and tried to console my mother who is feeling lonely in her nursing home. It’s hard for her to know what’s going on in the world in the time of Covid. We are all so far away other than my sister, who I also spent an hour on the phone with. She has had her eight-year-old grandson with her most of the summer so his mom can work. He’s usually in sports and camps. So much rests on her shoulders. What a time we are living in. My hope is that we all become more resilient and balanced.
Hang in there everyone.9 -
@1theresamcvean Don't apologize for prioritizing the things in your life that demand your immediate attention. Lots of hugs to you for getting through an extremely tough day.
First week of school is done. So far, it's weird and not fun but it's a step toward normal. I loved getting to see the students and now I need to figure out ways to get them better engaged and possibly working in online groups.
Still staying on the cheer squad right now. Just waaaaay too much to deal with. Maybe I'll get a work flow going soon.
Thinking about y'all and sending good vibes your way!5 -

Weigh in
Last weeks weight - 165.4
This weeks weight - 161.4
Loss for the week 4 pounds
So I’m not sure why such a big loss this week. I definitely am surprised. Hopefully it slows down this upcoming week. I only want to lose 2 pounds a week. Side note - might be my imagination but I feel like I’m losing hair by the handfuls. Weep weep.
I got a new phone and it’s not ‘finding’ my Fitbit so I will report my steps later today hopefully.
I hope everyone has a good Saturday!5 -

I really need to figure out how to get back on track with dinners. I splurged on chips and chips and salsa as soon as I got home then left and picked up fast food for dinner. I did stop at the gym on the way back home. I have one more week at work then a mini vacation followed by a staycation!5 -
