Happy Monday!
Goals for the new month:
-Minimum 15,000 steps daily
-Track everything I eat daily
-Meditate 5 minutes each day
-Spend at least 30 minutes daily cleaning (thanks to Cesse for the idea)
-Find a good at home resistance workout (they say gyms here will likely be closed for at least two more months 😥)
-Work on consistency-rather than going all in for a few days and then totally off target for more than a few days
Overall goal is to be down to 240 lbs by October 1st (11.6 pounds)1 -

Walking is by far my favourite exercise. I also love swimming but due to COVID the pool is offering no adult swims.1 -

Amazing loss!Megan_smartiepants1970 wrote: »Megan_smartiepants1970 wrote: »Good Morning .... Great losses everyone and for the ones who gained we have a new month to work on it ...I have to deal with child support court this morning via phone ughhhhhhh... He is wanting his child support to be reviewed ... I am not sure why he is entitled considering he has denied my daughter from day 1 .... refused to take the paternity test etc etc ...I am not a happy camper this morning
The loser didn't even show up via zoom or phone so the case was dismissed and the child support remains the same
The joy of dealing with ex’s. One advantage of my kids being grown up.0 -

Great goals! I think I need to steal the cleaning one. I always put it off and end up with a big job when I could have spread it out.Megan_smartiepants1970 wrote: »phew... So sorry! If my head wasn’t attached I would lose it! 😂0 -
As my life is a bit complicated right now I decided to lower my expectations for September.
My challenges are:
1) Eat 5 healthy meals.
2) Eat 1600 calories (or try at least more than 1200)
3) Do 8.000 steps. My Samsung Galaxy Fit broke and I keep forgetting to wear my phone with me to count the steps.
4) Do something creative, fun, for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week.
5) Try to talk to myself as I would talk to someone else, with good words, positive and motivating myself.4 -

I really am not a fan of working out. So, things that don’t feel like exercise like hiking and bike riding when the weather isn’t a million degrees.1 -

Check in for Sunday, 8/30
Steps: 8987
Calories: under
Water: 102 oz
Exercise: 1 mile walk & 70 modified push-ups
I don’t think I will make my steps today. I just came back from a 5.6 trail bike ride with 115’ gain in elevation and I am beat.2 -

It’s good that you are being flexible and alInning your goals with what is realistic. I love it!

Think I missed the part about this challenge actually starting on August 30th... so I am behind already! Not a good way to start this..
Is this a proper way to do daily logins? but with the weigh ins only being on Mondays?
Do I need to do a separate login for steps challenge?
