Friday Check-in
🟢Food on plan, weighed, logged
🟢Calories in Green
🟢Workout - 50 min/6 days
🔴Breathing Ex (10 min)
🟢Martial Arts forms - 2/day
Oops to the breathing work. I didn't do it at the usual time and simply forgot later in the day. Onwards today!
I did well on exercise yesterday. After letting resistance/weights work go for a bit, I am back at it and happily have sore arms today!
@mss9675 @davors19 - Great job holding steady! 👍🏽
@trooworld - Hurray for weight staying steady when things have been challenging. And hurray for hitting your food and water goals yesterday! I hope your sewing projects go well this weekend! 🧵🧷
@raleighgirl09 - Something I have done if seriously hungry late at night has been to declare that I can only eat something worthy but not so appealing. A piece of plain chicken breast or some raw non-sweet vegetables.
@SammyDee2015 - I love your commitment to picking up and putting down heavy things! 💪🏾
@TwistedSassette - How great that life is getting back to normal. It is great that you were so helpful with your MIL, but it sounds awfully nice to have life now returning to no0rmal for you and your husband.
@Cornanda - Wowsers! What a great weigh-in! 🏆
@Firefly743 @TeresaW1020 davidji82 @bethanie0825 -- 🌟 Woohoo! Great weigh-in! 🥳
@TeresaW1020 -- Awww, thanks for the compliment about maintenance. It is an ongoing project for sure.
@Katmary71 - Thanks for making me smile with this: "Exercise- arm cardio, core, stretching, cat petting." Seriously, though, your finding ways to stay in motion while you deal with health issues is super respiring!4 -
Happy Saturday everyone! I have missed checking in the last few days. It has been a crazy week. The COVID numbers in Arkansas have increased substantially. In addition, we have had some cases diagnosed within our church congregation. With all of this we (the church staff) has spent a ton of time in meetings, praying, making changes to how we are doing things. Then we have had to reach out to our members with all of this. Needless to say, I guess, work has been stressful.
On a happier note this was also my hubby’s last week of work. He retired yesterday. So there was a wonderful work luncheon for him and great response from all our family and friends.
Then add in some doctor appts and news this morning that our youngest son, 26 and lives in Louisiana, has tested positive for COVID. Currently no symptoms. Our prayer is he continues to have no symptoms.
Sorry for dumping all my “stuff” on you guys. Just feel like I’m on a rollercoaster and it won’t stop and let me off. Overall though I have done well with eating- although struggling with sugar some. I’m trying to stay completely on track today.
Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!!!7 -

Not quite sure how a loss happened as I was on a road trip sitting in the car all day, not working out and eating more junk than usual but I’ll take it!8 -
@raleighgirl09 We all have those days where food and alcohol get the better of us. But you are back on track and at least you didn’t have a gain so that’s a big win!
@bethanie0825, @itsmegina, & and @Firefly743 Yayyy for a nice little loss this week! Keep it up!
@trooworld I think with everything that you had going on this week it’s a real victory that the scale held steady. Now to get back on track and get it moving for next week.
@adhmrh First off we are here for you in the good and in the stressful times. So, dump away!As a fellow church staff member, I totally understand how stressful and prayerful you all have been this week. We haven’t had an issue yet within our church and we continually pray that we won’t. So sorry about your son and hopefully he won’t have any serious symptoms to deal with. How do you feel about having your hubby retired and being home all the time now? I met my husband after he retired so I’ve never known anything different from him.
Hi Team! I’m happy that my weight is still holding onto its new lowest number. I've made a vow to myself that I will not have a gain going into the New Year and I’m even going to try to have a nice loss. I just have to stay focused, determined, and do the work that it will take. I worked out this morning and then cleaned my bathroom and did a bunch of steaming of my clothes. A few years ago, my DH bought me a professional steamer and it’s been one of the best gifts ever! I also spent a couple of hours today getting ready for children’s church tomorrow. I always have fun with them so I’m looking forward to it.
NEW YEAR CHALLENGE: 48 Days until January 1st
1. Fast Clean I fasted 19 hours
2. Workout Barre Blend cardio
3. Eat on plan Strict Keto today. I made a really yummy chicken stroganoff and put mine over sauteed cauliflower rice.
I promised pics of my Christmas decorations and since I love to show off my pretties here you go! Just a bit of what I've got going in this house.

Saturday check-in
Exercise- arm cardio, stretching, core
Calories- under
I'm still in the groove as far as staying under calories. My county just went back a tier so places are closing again. My guy friend is going to stay here the next few months so we went and picked up some of his stuff yesterday and need to go back so another road trip in the next couple days. I almost have the room he's staying in cleaned out (I really have to get ahold of this book situation or buy a few more bookshelves!). Nothing else is new, made chili last night which was perfect as it was raining and I have a lot of trouble with weather so it hit the spot. Keep rocking it out Slimpossibles!5 -
Weigh in Apple852hk
Week 3 - Nov 2020 Sunday
PW 133.3lbs (60.5kg)
CW 136lbs (61.8kg)
LTD about 45.8lbs (20.8kg)
Gained 3lbs - but I've been snacking on chocolate and easilyfrvouring 150g per sitting so I'm not just eating it slowly. Maybe I should try eating carrots and hummus instead when I feel the urge to eat for the crunch.
Not eaten food out just a ciabatta ham for lunch on Thursday. But had carb everyday at home: pasta, toast, couscous
I'm eating breakfast every day again but I'll try and just eat yogurt for the first half of next week.
Drinking tea again means I'm going to the toilet more. I'll try and break this habit this coming week and drink less tea and more herbal tea if I need something warm.
GOALS:
1. Instead of chocolate, eat
2. Drink less tea, drink herbal
Have a good week ahead🥰
P.S.

Reminders (sorry if I missed it in the thread):
@apple852hk - You're all set!You don't often make the reminder list because you're usually very diligent about getting your weigh in posted. The weekly cutoff is Saturday night so I'm usually just having to remind those who I haven't seen a post from during the week. Your weigh-in is Sunday - the start of the week - and you've been great about posting on time! Thanks for that!

CW 194.2 ( Nov 15)
LTD still up 1.0 lb from start 🙄
TTL loss: 30.6 lbs
GOAL =|> previous week.
Nov 8-14:

- 3 Strength (1hr48min) 🟢
- 1 Yoga (30 min ) 🟠
- 3 HiiT (30 min) 🟠
- 67 HR weekly avg 🟢
- 7 days food tracking 👌
Added in my weekly avg resting HR because I do track it and pay attention as I am trying to balance my activities to get, then keep it lower (the more I run the lower it goes, but heavier i am and the heavier I lift the higher it gets and the worse I feel). Goal is in the 50’s.
My mantra continues til next week: to get outside of your head you must get outside of the house.

@raleighgirl09 Ahahahha I know what you mean about the lbs/kg thing - luckily for me I work at a gold mine where we sell our gold in oz and our other metals in lbs, so I have the conversions memorised!
@adhmrh How wonderful about your husband's retirement. It sounds well-deserved! Thinking of you with regard to all the covid stuff, it must be really scary in your part of the world right now. We have been relatively lucky here in Australia and it's all but stamped out. Still getting a few cases from returned travellers, but they're in hotel quarantine so no risk to anybody. We are rarely getting any community transmission so the rules are starting to relax a lot. I really feel for those who are going into lockdown again, I know it's a hard and scary time so my thoughts are with you all!
@TeresaW1020 Wow, your decorations are beautiful!
@apple852hk Sounds like you're in a bit of a funk at the moment. I know just what you mean about eating the whole block of chocolate! I did the same thing on Saturday. I have to leave the packet in the pantry and only get out what I am willing to eat, otherwise I do the same thing. Hubby sometimes puts the chocolate in the fridge which is another deterrent for me lol, I don't really enjoy it as much cold and it's hard to eat! Sending you hugs, please let us know if we can help to support you!
@Firefly743 @itsmegina @SammyDee2015 Great weigh ins!!

I could have sworn that I posted yesterday, but I can't see it so maybe something glitched
Yesterday was quite an active day, I rode my stationary bike, did some yoga, and took the little guy to the pool for a swim since it was so hot! Unfortunately, someone had an "accident"in the olympic sized pool, so everyone was crammed into the heated little kids/rehab pool! There were teenage boys wrestling and diving everywhere, a swim lesson taking up half the pool, little kids getting splashed with all the ruckus - it was a mess! Should be back to normal today so hopefully we will go again after work.
Saturday was not so great. I totally overate (see above re chocolate) and didn't do any exercise. Back on the horse today. I prepped my lunches for this work week yesterday, a nice seafood salad. It's a little higher calorie than I had intended, as I didn't track it until this morning, but I can make it work with the rest of my day so should be fine.
Wishing you all a safe & happy & healthy week ahead!!

@Cornanda @davidji82 @itsmegina Congrats on an awesome week!!!!
@TeresaW1020 thanks so much. I pray your church continues to avoid covid cases. I am really excited about my hubby's retirement. He has worked so hard, for so long. He is a little over 10yrs older than me, so I am not ready yet to retire. I love my work, it is so rewarding. I know you feel that way about your too. Love your pictures, just lovely!!!
@Katmary71 thank you. I hate things are closing back up in your area. This virus is so hard. Glad you won't be alone. Chili sounds like a great idea!!
@trooworld thank you and appreciate the hugs!! Hope you enjoyed the beautiful day!!
@TwistedSassette I appreciate your thoughts and comments. You got in a great variety of exercise. I love hearing how you and your son spend time have fun!!! Seafood salad sounds yummy!!!
Today has been a super day. Church was wonderful today. My son is still not really having any symptoms. I appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers. I think if he can make it a day or two more symptom free he should be past the "worry" time. I have done well with food today, but haven't gotten any exercise. Did manage to get in 10,600 steps and clean out my closet, switching out spring/summer clothes for fall/winter clothes. It may not have officially been exercise, but it sure felt like it!!!
Sunday check in:
-log every bite: yes
-6,000 steps: yes
-30 mins of some kind of exercise: yes, if I can count closet cleaning
-drink 96 oz water: I think more like 50oz today
-spend time in Bible study and prayer: yes, but at church not my own personal time.
-no sugar: yes, finally!!!!
Looking forward to a less stressful week! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!!3 -
@trooworld Sounds like a beautiful day! It was sunny here today, yay!
@TwistedSassette Oh no, sorry to hear about the accident at the pool! It sounds like you had a lot of exercise wtg!
@adhmrh Closet cleaning definitely counts as exercise. Prayers your son gets through the worry time. Glad church was great too! Yes, we're back a tier now, not fun.
Sunday check-in
Exercise- arm cardio, core, stretching, arm resistant bands

Not much new, I'm "attending" a 7-day conference on gut health so I did that after church this afternoon (church is online and recorded). I normally go to church on my phone and went on my laptop and went to a different church with the same name, I had no clue who anyone was and the format was completely different, so glad for my church and pastors! Tomorrow Eric and I are going to get more of his things and try to catch his other cat so it's road trip time. I'll see if I can resist stopping for Diet Pepsis this time!5 -

Good morning and Happy Monday! Two weeks of quarantine was ridiculous and painful and hopefully I don't go through that again. I would like to remind people...if you don't feel well...STAY HOME!!! Quite honestly, I'm hoping my co-worker isn't back until he is completely better. I hope the safeguards are put in place to make sure that he is completely healthy before he's allowed to return. My food was horrible because I was home (which is a condo) doing nothing and I just had zero drive. It's a new week. Hopefully my schedule with work is returning to normal. I would like to get back to life and try (once again) to get some sort of routine going!
I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Daily check in - Monday- argh!
Evil late night of binging drama. 13 freaking cookies wolfed down -which equates to my whole day of calories! 🧐
.... means I am starting from scratch again, dang it. I used to be able to resist these (make ‘em every Sunday for hubby’s lunches) but obviously need to retrain my indulgence muscle once more.
In order that I no longer guess - I plugged the entire recipe into mfp, then labelled the cookie jar with the actual calories per cookie.
(Armed with the facts I should be able to resist them better).
Also will try restricting water two hours before bed in an effort to stay asleep, therefore bypass the willpower workout entirely.
I put a Halloween mask over the cookie jar for the daytime to ensure the rest of Monday will be AWESOME. 🌸

I've been reading everyone's posts, but just can't muscle the strength to type responses. This torn rotator cuff has been hurting more and more and having my arm in the position for typing is quite painful. Know that I'm proud of all the ups and commiserating with all the downs. Hugs to everyone and I hope you all have a fantastic week!6 -
@vegan4lyfe2012 Hugs to you and prayers that your arm will heal and you can get back to feeling good.
@trooworld Glad that you are keeping busy with your sewing project. Do you find it keeps you out of the kitchen? That is one of the reasons I like to do puzzles because if I’m not busy I’m snacking!
@SammyDee2015 Ugghhh I’m sure your cookie binge made you angry with yourself. I’ve been there often! Good plan to figure out the actual calories and to keep them out of sight. Does your hubby really need the cookies? Maybe you could make him something healthier and still give him something tasty. Just a thought!
@GretchenReine I’m glad that you are out of quarantine and can get back to work. Being stuck at home can be very difficult for our diets. I gained 10 lbs in the first couple of months of lockdown before I finally got a grip and realized that now that I work from home most days, I simply have to exercise control. Love your cute graphic!!
@ChristBeforeCheesecake & @OneSmallThingToday Nice little losses this week!
@Katmary71 That must have been confusing when a different church came on the screen.
@adhmrh Glad your son still isn’t showing any symptoms. I would say 10,600 steps and a closet clean out totally counts towards exercise. Don’t sell yourself short on all you accomplished!
Hi Team! Today has been fairly productive so far. I had a good workout this morning and my mom and I went and did some grocery shopping. I’m only eating a 500 calorie Keto meal today, so I’m working on keeping myself busy. I think I’m going to knock do my Christmas cards today so they are done and ready for mailing at the end of the month. Tomorrow I get to watch my favorite 3-year old for a few hours and he is coming over to my house so I hope all my Christmas decorations won’t be too much of a temptation for him. We may be taking several walks outside with the dog to keep us busy.
NEW YEAR CHALLENGE: 46 Days until January 1st
1. Fast Clean: I’m fasting for 23 hours today
2. Workout: Barre Blend full-body cardio. The woman kills my quads!!
3. Eat on plan: I’m making Picadillo over cauliflower rice and will keep it under 450 calories so I can enjoy my evening cup of coffee with my hubby.

Hi Everyone! It was a busy swimming weekend. I took a rest day two days last week and had to work late, causing me to only get in half a workout another day, so I had a lot to make up over the weekend. The good news is the extra long workouts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday caught me up and kicked my metabolism into gear!
I need to get back into the habit of posting more. I haven't been spending a lot of time online except for work, so that has affected my posting. I feel like I eat a lot better when I'm posting more....and even when I make a choice to have something less healthy, I don't stress out about it as much.7 -

@GretchenReine I love that meme! I might have to put it on my wall at work. Meanwhile, I'm glad that quarantine is over and you can look forward to getting back to normal, whatever that is these days.
@SammyDee2015 I just made some cookies last night - and I can foresee I may have the same issue!! A hallowe'en mask- what a great idea! Out of sight, out of mind.
@TeresaW1020 I had to Google "Picadillo" as I'd never heard of it - it looks delicious! We make something similar occasionally but just call it savoury mince. But this looks like it has much more flavour - I'm going to have to give it a try!
@buniphuphu Your continued swimming efforts and resulting weight loss absolutely astound me! You're doing so well. You'll be having that surgery in no time!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday turned out to be a little stormy & cool in the afternoon, so no swimming. I did a little strength work on my glutes and some yoga instead. I really need to incorporate more strength work. I just don't really enjoy it but I know it's good for me in the long run (even if it doesn't feel like it the next day). For now I am just going to start with 10 mins a day, which I know isn't much but it is better than doing none at all.
This afternoon and evening there is a foodies market in my town. It's not something they've done before so I want to go and check it out as I like to support community events. There will be a lot of temptations to resist, I think!
