@AustinRuadhain Thanks. I'm glad, too, I hate being miserable lol! I agree with what you said about goals...spot on! Congrats on having a good day yesterday and getting in that exercise.
@TwistedSassette Yes! I love this image, thanks for this. That's great you had a healthy meal of fish and the scale went down. Here's to the scale staying down!
@TeresaW1020 Thank you, I am continuing to feel better and I'm so glad. Sometimes the depression and anxiety can last for a bit and it makes it hard to do anything. re: changing my goals...I have learned from all of you! You guys are the smart ones. That's too bad that the cleaning guy ignores the unused pews. But Yay for steps! Congrats on the loss, you are doing amazing!!!
@Katmary71 Thanks, me too! How are you doing?
Hi all. I did not track yesterday (except my breakfast) and I feel a little lost because I didn't track, I may go back and track what I ate. Even though I was off yesterday, it ended up being a busy day. I went and got groceries, went to Joann Fabrics, and took a nap, and then picked up my husband from work. Luckily, I had put carnitas in the crockpot because I know I wouldn't have wanted to cook last night.
Wednesday:

Fantastic weigh ins from @davidji82 @TeresaW1020 @Cornanda - great work!!
@trooworld Sounds like some kind of day. I’m glad you could take a nap and already had dinner sorted! I hope today is a better day.
I’m pleased to report that MIL has gone home! She still needs a daily IV but the doctors want to see her every couple of days and she needs to start physio so it wasn’t going to work to bring her back here. We didn’t mind helping her out, but she just makes it twice as hard as it needs to be so hubby & I are both glad to be able to go back to normal!
My water weight is gradually dropping still. I’ve had a few dinners out for work this week so that’s messed me up a little. But I’ve been quite active and still tracking so I know it’s just water retention and will go away soon enough.
This weekend is forecast to be HOT (tomorrow will be 40C/104F!) so hoping to spend more time in the pool!

Not a stellar week when I look at the numbers however my waist is down a full inch! Can I change my weekly weigh in day to Sundays? Forgot that was my ‘day’ in the past as its a better day for me all around to help focus on the week ahead.

Hello to the team - I hope everyone has had a good week, going into a fabulous weekend! I have had a good day today and yesterday but Wednesday was HORRIBLE, eating wise. I not only had about 1000 calories (very loose guess) late at night, nudged on by some alcohol....but I did not go back and log it. UGH. So, after that cold, stark realization, yesterday and today were much better. My water is steadily increasing (thanks @buniphuphu for the start early trick....that bit of simplicity was genius for me!) and sleep is good. I have been watching my pattern on days when I do poorly and it all boils down to night eating, nearly every time. I loved reading the water-instead-of-snack post from @SammyDee2015 because I knowKNOW.....KNOOOOOWWWW how hard that choice can be. Well - it's not really that hard when you (I) choose to eat instead of get the water.
I need to channel my inner Slimpossible baddashery self and take that good example and have some water when the urge hits. Once the better choice is chosen and past...it is such a victory. I just need to do it... => Today/tonight it won't be any big deal because I have no urge to eat. I need to dig deeper when the urge is screaming in my ear. It's only hard in the moment. I have to keep reminding myself. Unfailingly - just keep reminding myself.
WAY TO GO on the weigh ins to @TeresaW1020 @Cornanda and @davidji82 - you guys REALLY rocked it!!
@trooworld I sure hope the last couple of days were better than Wednesday...
@GabiV125 halfway through your 100 day challenge and you're doing well with it - @TwistedSassette 's pic of the ladder is so spot on and the visual is a great reminder that we get where we're going only by adding up the small victories! Good for you on that 'bike' choice!! =>
@TwistedSassette so glad your MIL is better....and a bit further away! Helping goes without saying, and so does how happy we are to get back to normal life! Keeping good tabs on the intake is soooo helpful for the analyzing later - I'm always relieved to see the temp weight get out fairly quickly, and you can't lose a kg until you've lost several .1 kg....sadly, this chick always has to look up kgs to lbs to grasp the volume => But the philosophy is the same, lbs or kgs!!
@GretchenReine ugh on the lockdown post exposure! I hope that it all goes really smoothly - are you working remotely or get an accidental 'vacation?'
@SammyDee2015 congrats on such a strong choice - it's the later hour when the rubber meets the road....or where the fork can hit the lips...? => Congrats on that, it's a WIN on multiple levels!! And losing an inch is some really motivating information to get, despite the scale!
@TeresaW1020 agree with @AustinRuadhain for the visual of not doing a diet with an expiration date - that is so spot on and necessary to the sustainability of the changes we make!
@AustinRuadhain I've been getting more steps of late and was close to 15,000 today - which I used to do regularly! You're getting an hour of exercise and celebrating that (you didn't say it but I envision you DID!) reminds me of my thoughts as I had 2 walks today and a lot of steps....I MISS IT!! And yeah - it totally helps the stress of the national and global events! I can't control those things but I can control getting out for walks and stepping it up to make them meaningful.
@Katmary71 I concur with @TeresaW1020 on being careful but I also know you are so very anxious to get to a place of doing more a little at a time! You have come so far and we are all rooting for you! Congrats on the sweat – now there’s something I don’t do enough of!

@TwistedSassette Thanks, I'm glad dinner was done, too! That's good your MIL went back home and now you can resume life as normal. Great that you tried to balance the meals out with a lot of activity, well done! Wow, that IS hot. I'd want to be in the pool, too.
@SammyDee2015 Congrats on the inch loss, that's great that you are keeping track via measuring too. I like your mantra for next week.
@raleighgirl09 Thank you so much. Yes, these past few days have been much better.
Hi all. Yesterday was a busy day but I managed to track everything I ate thanks to pre-tracking. The scale didn't move this week but I am not surprised as I had some dessert treat I made earlier in the week a couple of times. I've been having better days, I think because I'm keeping busy: I'm doing a hobby (sewing) and have had several appointments. I hope today to do some more sewing and relaxing. Take care.

I did well on exercise yesterday. After letting resistance/weights work go for a bit, I am back at it and happily have sore arms today!
@mss9675 @davors19 - Great job holding steady! 👍🏽
@trooworld - Hurray for weight staying steady when things have been challenging. And hurray for hitting your food and water goals yesterday! I hope your sewing projects go well this weekend! 🧵🧷
@raleighgirl09 - Something I have done if seriously hungry late at night has been to declare that I can only eat something worthy but not so appealing. A piece of plain chicken breast or some raw non-sweet vegetables.
@SammyDee2015 - I love your commitment to picking up and putting down heavy things! 💪🏾
@TwistedSassette - How great that life is getting back to normal. It is great that you were so helpful with your MIL, but it sounds awfully nice to have life now returning to no0rmal for you and your husband.

Happy Saturday everyone! I have missed checking in the last few days. It has been a crazy week. The COVID numbers in Arkansas have increased substantially. In addition, we have had some cases diagnosed within our church congregation. With all of this we (the church staff) has spent a ton of time in meetings, praying, making changes to how we are doing things. Then we have had to reach out to our members with all of this. Needless to say, I guess, work has been stressful.
On a happier note this was also my hubby’s last week of work. He retired yesterday. So there was a wonderful work luncheon for him and great response from all our family and friends.
Then add in some doctor appts and news this morning that our youngest son, 26 and lives in Louisiana, has tested positive for COVID. Currently no symptoms. Our prayer is he continues to have no symptoms.
Sorry for dumping all my “stuff” on you guys. Just feel like I’m on a rollercoaster and it won’t stop and let me off. Overall though I have done well with eating- although struggling with sugar some. I’m trying to stay completely on track today.
Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!!!7 -

Not quite sure how a loss happened as I was on a road trip sitting in the car all day, not working out and eating more junk than usual but I’ll take it!8 -
@raleighgirl09 We all have those days where food and alcohol get the better of us. But you are back on track and at least you didn’t have a gain so that’s a big win!
@bethanie0825, @itsmegina, & and @Firefly743 Yayyy for a nice little loss this week! Keep it up!
@trooworld I think with everything that you had going on this week it’s a real victory that the scale held steady. Now to get back on track and get it moving for next week.
@adhmrh First off we are here for you in the good and in the stressful times. So, dump away! As a fellow church staff member, I totally understand how stressful and prayerful you all have been this week. We haven’t had an issue yet within our church and we continually pray that we won’t. So sorry about your son and hopefully he won’t have any serious symptoms to deal with. How do you feel about having your hubby retired and being home all the time now? I met my husband after he retired so I’ve never known anything different from him.
Hi Team! I’m happy that my weight is still holding onto its new lowest number. I've made a vow to myself that I will not have a gain going into the New Year and I’m even going to try to have a nice loss. I just have to stay focused, determined, and do the work that it will take. I worked out this morning and then cleaned my bathroom and did a bunch of steaming of my clothes. A few years ago, my DH bought me a professional steamer and it’s been one of the best gifts ever! I also spent a couple of hours today getting ready for children’s church tomorrow. I always have fun with them so I’m looking forward to it.
NEW YEAR CHALLENGE: 48 Days until January 1st
1. Fast Clean I fasted 19 hours
2. Workout Barre Blend cardio
3. Eat on plan Strict Keto today. I made a really yummy chicken stroganoff and put mine over sauteed cauliflower rice.
I promised pics of my Christmas decorations and since I love to show off my pretties here you go! Just a bit of what I've got going in this house.

Saturday check-in
Exercise- arm cardio, stretching, core
Calories- under
I'm still in the groove as far as staying under calories. My county just went back a tier so places are closing again. My guy friend is going to stay here the next few months so we went and picked up some of his stuff yesterday and need to go back so another road trip in the next couple days. I almost have the room he's staying in cleaned out (I really have to get ahold of this book situation or buy a few more bookshelves!). Nothing else is new, made chili last night which was perfect as it was raining and I have a lot of trouble with weather so it hit the spot. Keep rocking it out Slimpossibles!5 -
Weigh in Apple852hk
Week 3 - Nov 2020 Sunday
PW 133.3lbs (60.5kg)
CW 136lbs (61.8kg)
LTD about 45.8lbs (20.8kg)
Gained 3lbs - but I've been snacking on chocolate and easilyfrvouring 150g per sitting so I'm not just eating it slowly. Maybe I should try eating carrots and hummus instead when I feel the urge to eat for the crunch.
Not eaten food out just a ciabatta ham for lunch on Thursday. But had carb everyday at home: pasta, toast, couscous
I'm eating breakfast every day again but I'll try and just eat yogurt for the first half of next week.
Drinking tea again means I'm going to the toilet more. I'll try and break this habit this coming week and drink less tea and more herbal tea if I need something warm.
GOALS:
1. Instead of chocolate, eat
2. Drink less tea, drink herbal
Have a good week ahead🥰

@AustinRuadhain I hate when I push a goal off until later in the day and then I forget to do it! You had a great day yesterday!
@adhmrh I'm sorry that you had a stressful work week. Hopefully, you can enjoy the weekend! Congrats to your hubby, how wonderful to retire! You must be stressed about your son, I am wishing the best for him. Hugs to you!
@TeresaW1020 That's probably true! Thanks for that perspective. Now, onward and downward! I hope you have fun with the kids. I LOVE YOUR CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!!! I can see why it took you several days to do it, that looks like a lot of work!
@Katmary71 That's nice that you will have your guy friend over for a few months. The cats should like it, no? I'm assuming he's bringing his kitty. I hear you about the book situation, that's why I had to switch to Kindle books (no room in the new condo!). I miss paper books though. I'm glad you enjoyed your chili, that does sound perfect for a raining night!

@apple852hk - You're all set! You don't often make the reminder list because you're usually very diligent about getting your weigh in posted. The weekly cutoff is Saturday night so I'm usually just having to remind those who I haven't seen a post from during the week. Your weigh-in is Sunday - the start of the week - and you've been great about posting on time! Thanks for that!3 -

Added in my weekly avg resting HR because I do track it and pay attention as I am trying to balance my activities to get, then keep it lower (the more I run the lower it goes, but heavier i am and the heavier I lift the higher it gets and the worse I feel). Goal is in the 50’s.
My mantra continues til next week: to get outside of your head you must get outside of the house.
