I readjusted my goals on the app. I set my goal weight to 299 instead of my goal weight as I thought it would be easier to focus on 20 to 30 pounds at a time, lose 1.5 pounds per week (instead of 2) and realized I had a light activity level (not including exercise) rather than sedentary. This changed my daily calorie goal from 1600 to 2190 calories.

I realized I might not have been meeting my calorie needs as I kept feeling hungry and snacking. I didn't want to take the weight loss per week goal down to 1 pound per week as that would raise my daily calorie limit to 2,400 calories, which seemed excessive and counterproductive

    Hi everyone!

I don't comment on here everyday (I try but with 4 children, 3 currently home schooled due to Covid restrictions) a full time job and finishing my degree, my life is a little hectic to say the least!

However, I am tracking my food and so far so good. Counting calories is all totally new to me so some days are better then other but from my point of view its a journey not a race!

Weigh in tomorrow so fingers crossed for a loss!
