I feel like this graph of my weight in 2020 is also a graph of my stress in 2020. My goal for this year is working on ways to deal with stress without bouncing the scale around.

@Cora0477 this is an amazing chart and your perseverance through the stress is a big victory. Just look where you were at the worst of the lockdown and where you are now!
Where do you get this chart / Happy Scale? I'm new to MFP and still discovering tips and tricks. (And still picking up friends if you are interested!)

    mid January checkin:

    5'4", 47yrs
    1/1 - 136lbs
    1/9 - 135.5 lbs
    1/14 - 135 lbs

Would have loved to be further ahead (closer to 130) but it doesn't really matter. Feeling good and on track!

    Seeing some changes here!
Started to eat more calories and started taking amberen https://amberen.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIx6f4kvib7gIVTOHICh32dQ4gEAAYASAAEgKMgvD_BwE

It says it doesn’t start to take effect for 60days. Still get hot flashes. Hope it helps.
OTF is Orangetheory. 1hr HITT class with treads, weights and rowing. I’ve been going almost a year and half.
MIRROR is like a new in home exercise thing: https://www.mirror.co/how-it-works?utm_source=google_ads&utm_medium=search_cpc&utm_campaign=brand_mirror&utm_content=mirror_exercise&utm_term=mirror exercise

I am feeling bored with OTF since that’s pretty much all I do now. I like mixing up with outdoor stuff but with Cleveland weather, not going to happen...
    So I’m looking at alternatives.

@k8richer Happy Scale is an app for iPhone/Apple that averages your daily weight so you don’t freak out about normal daily fluctuations. It has charts and graphs that make it easy to see if you are headed in the right direction.

If you have android, they have an app called Libra that works similarly.

    Good luck!

Hi everyone! Joining a bit late. Just booked a trip to Aruba in August for our 10 year wedding anniversary (if travel is safe by then of course).

I do daily Peleton Tread Bootcamps at home with the App between 30-60 minutes. I enjoy exercise so it isn’t an issue.

Hope to incorporate more stress relief activities: Yoga, slow walks with my husband and dogs, meditation, reading.

I had a not too bad weekend until yesterday afternoon. After lunch I just couldn't snap out of a snacking binge  and I had almost 2.000 kcal of unplanned snacks.
Instead of shying away from the figures, I did hit the scales and filled in my diary and I'm back with a vengeance.

    1. Stay off sugar
    2. Stay low carb - audios chips/tortillas/potatoes

    1/20 - 146.4

Good to see ya'll! I'm so glad to see familiar faces, stories. It does help to check in with ladies in the same boat. @weatherking2019 - Your consistency is inspiring! @l4a_p - I'm playing around with keto a bit. Attempting to spend a little bit of time becoming more educated on what works/what doesn't. I actually broke down and bought some of the strips to make sure my body is processing things the way it should....that I'm staying in keytosis.

Ah! Coincidentally I was also looking at buying those strips last week; just out of curiosity. Let me know if they work!

    1/21 - 146.2 - Yesterday was pretty good. Staying right around 1200-1300.

Road trip this afternoon thru Sunday. I'm going to work to stay off sugar, however I do intend to thoroughly enjoy myself at dinner Fri/Sat. I miss eating out..... Other than those 2 meals, I will work to stay on track.

Glad to see you back @cayenne_007 !!

@weatherking2019 : maybe you should check with your GP to see how you can counter the symptoms?

I can say that I'm back on track! I've kicked the sugar again (thanks to @l4a_p ) except one little piece of 70% chocolate every evening (hardly sugar in that). To top it off, hubbie decided to do a dry February, but starting now - so 5 full weeks. The only exception will be during our Valentine dinner; normally we never go out eating for Valentine, but as we are being cooped up since almost a year, we will do a special takeaway as we did with Christmas eve, with a bottle of champagne.
Sugar will definitely be a thing of the past.

I took a bit of an unplanned maintenance break last week. I had my cycle, missed a couple of workouts and we went to a couple of restaurants that I couldn’t track. It felt so good to dress up and get out of the house!

I’m looking forward to working hard again this week to see if I can end January solidly in the 125’s.

Instead, I'm treated to the result of 2 days of "excessive" eating, and by excessive I mean: still firmly under the allowed kcal but the wrong kind of calories, and I'm back where I was 2 weeks ago.

    It's depressing 🙁

I read that you've lost 1,7kg since the start of the month, which is very nice indeed
Don't give up, you've told me yourself that weightloss isn't linear, you'll get back there!
