@2essie - I can relate. We had flood warnings going on after cycling between ice and rain but the temp is dropping this week so it will be all ice. I can live with that. Just give me one or the other. When it keeps alternating it can get really ugly. Hope you guys get a dry spell before the next round.1

Went for a walk through a local wildlife refuge today. Saw lots of birds and no alligators so all good. 76/500

@2essie - not quite sure where you are, but I hope you haven’t been impacted too badly by the flooding - some parts of the UK have been pretty badly hit.
@clepant - I recall you telling us about your friend sitting under the trees with her dog(s).
@Dave & @Janet I made an error on my distance on the 13th. I’ve corrected it.
@kar328 - I’m glad the vaccination appears to have gone well.
Hope everyone is well and safe. These are insane times.

We are in the North of England and yes, it has been pretty grim. Lots of flooding for a lot of people. We are lucky where we are. Just the fields and the country lanes and some roads flooded. We had to cut our walks short as the country lanes we walk were all cut off. We had to carry the dogs through some of the water as it was (little dogs. Didn't want them wet through in the very cold wind). They don't usually mind what the weather is like but they haven't liked it just recently.
Hope everyone is safe and well1 -

CONGRATULATIONS @2essie on making goal. Sorry your weather is dreadful. Please keep yourself and the dogs safe!
@sussexbythesea - that's a lot of miles for someone who is unwell. Hope you are mending. Feel better soon.
@anaconda469 - beautiful photos. I look forward to hearing about the ski lessons.1 -

@vhuber - that’s cold! We only got down to 12 last night so walking the dogs wasn’t bad. After the thaw last week I’m using ice cleats to keep my footing. -15 would have me leaving the dogs inside. That’s like instant frostbite cold. Stay warm and safe.0

My ski lessons will be in my next trip over in March. Exactly 1 year from the last ski trip I had planned that Covid shut down. Yeah my son has a Go Pro and I dread the videos he will take of my lesson.
