@Dean, winter is always the hardest for me, too. You can do this. I know you can. There is some great advice here.
I love that you run with your pups. They are beautiful!

Today we finally got above zero!! We traveled both days over the weekend to watch the grandsons wrestle. Sat was -27 & Sunday was -31 & that was WITHOUT windchill!! I bundle up to get some walking in because I know its not only good for me but also for my dog "Georgie". He does NOT like to go very far when its that cold. LOL My treadmill's speed sensor is acting up & I have one on the way. It would just stop. Clear your data & I'd have to start over & then it'd do it again! Very annoying! I have moved by walking & the ex bike & here is my total = 51 mtd. I better pick it up because Feb is a short month!! With the cold my classes have been low but I think tomorrow will be back to normal!! I'd shovel for exercise but right now we have very little snow! It's been a DRY winter!!

I am struggling with my weight too. Put back 25 lbs this past year. I think a lot of it is almost zero outdoor activities. The stress of self quarantine for the past 11 months really takes a toll on weight. I don't burn calories the same way on a trainer as I do riding outdoors. Depression sure does not help either.

As crazy as this sounds, I'm glad I'm not the only one struggling with winter weight this year. We are supposed to get up to 32 for a high today. We are like the Riviera of Montana. Perfect for taking the dogs out with the Fat Tire.

@sufferlandrian - You totally aren't the only one. I've gained almost all of the weight I lost in the past year. Between COVID and depression it's a real struggle.

Was finally able to go outside with hubby for a hike/walk. It has been horribly cold, and, starting today, it's finally warming up.

Forcing myself to get some mikes in despite the cold. My rcoldweather face mask works. Now for hand warmers.

@SUFFERLANDRIAN - Dean, like others have said, I too am in the winter/Holiday weight gain camp with you. I added about 25lbs over November/December and am struggling to make it go away. It went on way faster than it wants to come off unfortunately. Hang in there and do the things that have worked for you before.
