Sorry. I had a big family birthday party on the weekend and got totally off track. Also been a bit stressed with my baby grandson in and out of hospital. Also my mother has been very restless after fracturing he hip a few weeks ago. She has dementia

This sounds so hard; thanks for letting us know. We will be thinking about you. Just keep doing your best...these days, that's all we can do. Take care of yourself.

I've really been having difficulty recently losing weight. However my BIA scale is telling me I'm gaining muscle mass and losing fat mass, so I can't be too disappointed. According to my scale, this past week, I lost 2.5 lbs of fat and gained 3.3 lbs of lean mass (I take that with a grain of salt, as these scales aren't that accurate). It's just that I know I have a lot more to lose, and I've been losing my patience a bit. And this doesn't help in our Biggest Loser competition. Sorry about that!

Total bummer this week. Gave in to Valentines Candy even when I said and tried not to, went away for the weekend to relax, at to late at night. Then 3 days at home this week and only 2 days at work. Work is where I walk and exercise with a coworker. Work is also where I get 96 oz of water in my daily routine. All that added up to a gain. I am so bummed that it happened after working so hard last week.

I am pretty sure this is water weight...but it still isn't awesome.

I was raised as Catholic, although I don't consider myself very religious, and rarely go to church these days... I still like the idea of giving up something for Lent. So my plan, starting today, is for the next 6 weeks, not indulging in "adult" beverages, and stick with healthier evening treats, such as fruit with a little whipped cream on top. Just wondering if any of you, whether for religious reasons or not, are planning to give up something for Lent?

I need to cut out the wine too. All my good intentions go out the window when I get too relaxed. Need to deal with stress differently.

I wish my weigh in day was Sunday instead of Saturday! I somehow dropped a whole pound since yesterday. Oh well - next week will be a good weigh in if I can keep it up.
