This week weigh in is 175. I have definitely been struggling with the bloating this month4

Thanks @jugar for the warm welcome. Looking forward to taking part in the April challenge. Until then, I'll enjoy getting myself acquainted with the group!5

I've stayed the same! I'm pleased with that, but it was a mildly fluctuating week around this point anyway. I know it's been that time of the month, as though I don't normally have symptoms at all I've started having some (I've got an IUD, which I'm going to get checked as it'd be bad timing for a baby) and I am wondering how it affects my weight. It definitely affected my cravings this week.
I'm going to ensure a less hectic, more normal week. I'll make sure not to overload myself with work (work-work or DIY etc) so I can log more proactively. I'm going to make a conscious effort to drink my water throughout the day rather than all at once, and I'm not going to eat my exercise calories this week. I started the month in the 85s, and I think if I push a little, I could end the month in the 83s which would be brilliant.3 -
Welcome @ashleycarole86, this is a great group3

Happy Monday!
It's time to start a bit of indoor planting for my vegetable garden - so I have to dig out the heat mats, clean everything, and get going! I have to remind myself not to plant too much, not to plant too much, just stop, you'll run out of room...
I hope everyone has a great day - more new people will be joining us this week, so get ready for that awesome wave of new energy!3 -
@MandiSaysHey Good Job!
@ashleycarole86 Welcome to the group. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Hi everyone! Sorry. Been a bit MIA. Having a little "more normal" life this past week. Meaning, we have left our house a few times being fully vaccinated. Yay!
Just caught up with the posts and recording steps. I will be doing the weekly report in a few hours so any last steps, please get them in.
Did 18 minutes nice Pilates stretch and relax this morning. I have been unfocused. Not horrible since I have learned so many skills doing this for so long, but rather behaving, again, as if I am maintaining and not trying to lose. I still have many pounds to lose, so I better stop it. I am going to go read peoples' inspirational stories on the Week 4 Challenge to look for some motivating stories. Will check back in later. Need to go make dinner.2 -
@conleywoods
So good you'll be back with the main team - you'll have to tell us more about your experiment and how things are going now.
OH I forgot to ask. When it gets to be your usual weigh-in day this week (Thursday, unless you want to change that), please give us an updated weight to use as your starting weight for April. Thanks!2 -

Welcome new friends! I can't believe we are almost to April. I was really hoping to hit a new decade before the end of the of the month, but that is looking like a long shot afer this past weekend.😥 My 2nd Covid shot took me down. I ate a lot of simple comfort foods. The scale showed it this morning. I also have been working out. I did go for a walk Sun. Today, I cleaned, a lot ( I am on Spring Break). Tomorrow I meeting a friend at a brewery for lunch. I do plan on getting a workout in before, but I am not sure that will be enough.4

Welcome to our new members! We are happy to have you join us. I think you are going to like it here. It's a great group. Full of support. Jump on in.
@KellyBgetsfit Your plans for tomorrow sound wonderfully normal. Glad you got your 2nd shot and are feeling better.
@Pearl4686 I understand that food rut. I seem to be in a dessert rut. Eating it just about every night. Ahhhhhh
Tomorrow I will try harder to log one full day. Darn Breakfast Club. I am also going to go have a mani/pedi. My first in over a year. I cannot wait. Hopefully, I will get in a walk. Haven't done that in a while.
Have a perfect day everyone.4 -
Hello everyone! I am starting up with my workouts again and was quickly reminded how effective these workouts are😅 Ballet Beautiful is running a special right now and I thought I would share the info. https://www.balletbeautiful.com/
If you like pilates you may be interested. It isn't very similar to barre just for reference.

@jugar I will keep Thursday as my weigh in day and make sure I get a starting weight for this Thursday. I will definitely do a recap of my experiment with calories and exercise for the last 2 months. I will have to organize my thoughts and post about it later this week.
Food went well today and I am trying to transition back to logging daily again. Last week I made the mistake of packing lunches that were just not filling enough. This weeks lunches are much better!
I worked out today and I got one workout in this past weekend. The rest of the weekend was spring cleaning and projects 😌3 -
You have another new member heading your way ... Please welcome @louise75774

How did it get to be late afternoon already? The day has been flying by, but at least I got out for a couple of good walks. So warm! The snow will be disappearing more and more now.
@conleywoods
Thanks for the info on ballet beautiful - it is always great to share the resources we find that work. Thanks!
@KellyBgetsfit
I'm glad you told us about the 2nd vaccine reaction - I will watch out for that! I am hoping to have my second one right before travelling out to Alberta this summer (my first one is May 7th), but I'll be sure not to take an appointment that is too close to my trip. Enjoy getting back into your workouts
I managed to keep my grocery list under strict control this morning, so I hope that my recent dessert habit will calm down. It must be a cluster of symptoms! First "breakfast club", then wanting something sweet after meals... @micki48 we need to invent a vaccine for this one4 -

I'm happy it's at least a downward trend, considering my eating has been rubbish.
Welcome all newbies!5 -
Guys, I did it! hopefully it stays this way:
CW: 198.4
PW: 200.2
LTD: 45.6 Lbs
I've gotten used to the reduced calories (1300) and I'm in a routine of controlled portions for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. If I could only tame down my weekend dinner and red wine over-indulgences I'd get to goal in no time, but the point for me is sustainable and baby steps otherwise as soon as I stop tracking I'll rebound faster than ever (been there - done THAT!) So Saturday night I probably have a few too many extra scoops of mashed potatoes, but it's all about balance! I don't feel deprived and I probably won't until Sangria Season arrives. That will be the true test! My favourite thing last summer was floating on my boat or an inflatable tube with my Sangria and a book. That's how I got to my starting weight last August. If anyone has low-calorie sangria recipes, pass them my way!!
Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday everyone!7 -
@PlaneMonkey Congrats! This is awesome work! So excited for you to be getting closer to your goal weight. You are so right, balance is key.2
