Yes girl! Our bodies dictate the "when" of weight loss. You are KILLING it. Keep going! You WILL get to that number.2 -
Good Morning Everyone,
Even though it is NOT my weigh in day for this challenge, I did step on the scale because I like to track my monthly progress. I lost exactly 8 pounds in June and I am STOKED.
47.4 pounds total since starting this journey.
I have been focusing on habits. I created my own habit tracker to keep in my planner and record my stats daily. This is REALLY helping me keep my eye on the prize and focus on my health.
My goal is to lose 5 pounds in July.
Thanks for being part of my weight loss team!

2 days 12 hours till the PEACHTREE ROADRACE!!!! This is a big deal for me every year. Last year was canceled and held virtually on Thanksgiving…. So 2 years since I’ve peachtree’ed!
I can’t wait to post photos from the finish line!
Peachtree 2019 at about 220 lbs!5 -
Happy Birthday, @imgwendolyn2015 and best wishes for the Peachtree Roadrace @Beka3695! I appreciate all the leaders of the F2F groups. Everything is so well-organized and group members are supportive and motivating (@hipari and @junedave3). You’ve created a great community! Here’s my weekly update:

Good Morning Everyone.
Saw a nice dip in the number on the scale today...hope it holds fast on that number for my weigh in this week.
We are headed to Tennessee this week for vacation...visiting my husband's family. 12 hours in the car means I won't hit my normal step goal...however, I plan to walk for a few minutes at each of our stops. And once we get to my in-laws, they have a great neighborhood for walking...as long as I can withstand the TN humidity...lol
I hope everyone has a great and successful day!

Well, I didn't make it all the way to my goal. 1.1 pounds away from it, to be exact! No way am I going to let this burst my bubble though. I feel absolutely amazing and I am so proud of myself for not giving up. Healthy days are here to stay!8

Happy July y’all!!!
I’m about to make my trek from Florida to Georgia…. I packed food and have prelogged for the day…. I’m starting a new ‘commitment’ today. I think a total reset is what I need!!!!

Ouch.
Last 2 days have been an emotional roller coaster and I, knowingly, took it out on food. Argh. Argh. Argh. And argh again.
I'm delaying my knee surgery to be caregiver to my aunt (86) who just had hip surgery. Same aunt I just spent a month with after her knee surgery. I feel so bad for her. She's family, no kids. I do for her like I did for my parents.
So.. back on track starting now.
I CAN and I WILL do this!5 -
100 oz of water was difficult to hit with a 7 hour drive…. But I did it!!!!
It was so nice to cook in my kitchen. I made baked stuffed chicken breast, roasted asparagus and yellow squash. My husband bragged all night. It was delicious. I feel like I’ve lost touch with making delicious, HEALTHY meals.
Rumor has it I will be back home mid august. I’m sure I’ll still visit regularly, but it will be nice to be home most of the time.8 -

That was one hard-fought half pound! I have to remind myself I’ve been carrying these pounds for many years and they are not going to give themselves up easily. I *think* the last time I weighed this, I was pregnant with my firstborn. Which means my kids (24&28) have never seen me at this weight! Next goal is to lose two more pounds so I can hit the 50 pound milestone.
The holiday weekend will be a challenge because I bought some treats for my husband (and let’s be honest, me) to enjoy. I don’t buy things like chips on a regular basis, but try to reserve them for holiday weekends and such.
My July calendar shows I have a lot of potentially challenging situations coming up: two birthdays, an out-of-town memorial service and my husband’s retirement and party. I need to keep focused this month because I want to hit that next milestone this month!8 -

Hello!
I'm Jen, 51 yrs old, three amazing adult children, three adorable grand babies that I care for most days and work in the medical field on evening shift. I have two silly rescued pit bulls and volunteer with several rescues in the area. I love all animals and nature. My kids call me a hippy dippy lol. I live on the coast in Virginia and love creating in the kitchen, gardening, running, biking, lifting weights and yoga. And of course being on/in the water:) I also managed a latin dance studio for several years so love Salsa and Bachata!
Looking forward to making this journey with you all! I started in October 2019 at 224 pounds and am down to 155 as of now, with 20ish pounds to go.6 -
Hi all!
I had a great birthday but paid for it yesterday. I spent all day in bed and couldn't get myself to eat more than a few slices of cucumber all day. Too much drinking does that to me. One day I'll make the decision to quit. I don't normally drink that much.

Hi this is my first real post here. I am 53 and 5’6” from Pennsylvania. I have 2 kids, a boy and a girl, in their early 20’s. I work a desk job and was completely sedentary for years. Started back on MFP in January 2021 and have lost 32 lbs so far. I am still gradually increasing my exercise. I got my first fitbit in March and am currently in a walking challenge at work until the end of July. I feel so much better! The groups/challenges here really keep me going! 🙂5 -

This week I started IF again but instead of 16:8, I am doing 13:11. It's so much better and less stressful for me.
This week was stressful at work and home. (Major car issues, getting home late, etc.) Instead of stress eating, I drank water. It helped a lot.
Last night my husband and I had Chinese food. My fortune cookie made me think. It said action is worry's worst enemy.
Have a good day everyone!6 -

I have so many nice clothes that I can no longer fit due to weight gain. Some still have the price tag. (Not going to blame COVID because to me that's an excuse and excuses are what I am working on getting rid of.) I need pants for work. My husband and I went to Wally World. Mind you I hate shopping for clothes. Well, I am proud to say yours truly is no longer a size 22 pants!!! We purchased a size 20 and they fit perfectly. No squeezing no jumping just slid right on. It was very exciting and encouraging. Still have a long way to go but it will be worth it.10

Hiya everyone, and sorry for going missing for some time! It’s been a wild couple of weeks (how many have I been gone?). Three weeks ago my mom sold her apartment and today was her move-out day, so it’s been pretty hectic trying to help her pack. Two weeks ago I pulled my back pretty badly, and couldn’t really walk or stand for about a week. My shoulder has been acting up again and the only possible treatment right now is complete rest, so I’m really happy it’s at least my left arm this time. In the mdidle of all this I wrapped up work for a few weeks and I’m now on summer vacation, I’ve been ”on vacation” aka helping with mom’s move for a week, and I have three more weeks to go. The last couple of weeks before vacay were pretty hectic at work, trying to get everything done and working around my injuries. Somewhere in the middle of all this I even lost my MFP login credentials, but was able to recover…
It seems you all are making great progress and hitting some major goals! Congrats to especially @Nature003Life for a new pant size, @Beka3695 for doing the Peachtree, @cre804 for that hard-earned weight loss and @chublet25 for becoming overweight! Everyone else seems to be doing a great job too, these are just some that stuck out while reading through the posts.4 -
