Greetings Assets!
We are entering the week when new members can sign up for Fat2Fit teams. If you have interested friends or can post this link where they may find it, please invite them to join! Continuing members do NOT have to re-register, so you're all automatically in for August.

Holy Sodium, Batman! Today I am up 8lbs from my last weigh in.
No caloric reason to be up, so I am hoping a praying it was just too many carbs over the weekend and sodium. Geesh!6 -

Welcome, new team members!
How’s everyone doing this week?
I went back to work this week and I’m exhausted. I have my next maternity appointment tomorrow and will have to talk about different options to breathe some life into me… the only two ways for improvement I can think of are an iron infusion at the hospital and part-time sick leave. I already have a light office job I can do remotely with a flexible schedule, so there’s not a lot of adjustments to be made there. Only 7 and a half more weeks until maternity leave, I can do this.
At least today I got more done at work than yesterday, and I was even able to squeeze in some personal paperwork and finally applied for the baby box and other benefits, it’s good to be a Finnish mom. The baby box is full of baby gear and you get it from the government for free if you participate in the free public maternity healthcare program. I also filed for child support/benefit, which is about $100 per month until the child turns 17, regardless of parental income, as well as maternity leave pay. I’m now officially filed as being on maternity leave from September until next August, first 3 months on full salary and the rest at 80%, I think.3 -

I’ve only seen a couple posts……but this team seems so supportive! Just what I need. I know we don’t ‘start till August 1st, but since my ‘weigh in day’ is Wednesday (and I’m totally fired up to start!) I thought I’d get on here and say Hello to my team! Plus….my weight today is naked weight vs my weight yesterday at my doctor’s office. 🤪

@peachplace wow, what an amazing loss!
Hi all! I am joining your lovely group for August. I am a female from the UK, lost around 50lb in 2019 and got happier and healthier, but then have been slowly putting it back on over the pandemic.
Time for action and more losing it (but slowly and consistently).
I am also taking on a walking challenge for Diabetes UK over July-October, aiming to walk 18,500 steps per day and taking around 1.7 million steps in the process - this is the length from Land's End to John O'Groats - the length of my country!
It is so nice to be in a group with likeminded individuals, everyone seems so supportive - I totally agree, @sigma3girl Looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better, making some friends and hearing what tips and tricks people have to keep going.
My weigh in is on Friday, so no data for me yet!6 -

Yay, welcome all new members!
I had my check-up today, and got no help whatsoever with the iron deficiency issue. I have follow-up labs scheduled in 2 weeks, but apparently my iron levels are still ”too good” and they’re ”not allowed” to write a send-in for the hospital to get proper treatment. I booked an appointment with my workplace healthcare for next week to discuss what options that route would have to help me out so I can make it through the last 7 weeks of work. On the plus side, the nurse said my weight gain is ”modest” which is nice, although the 20lbs I’ve put on so far doesn’t feel modest at all when I’m carrying it around all day. (Newbies - I’m pregnant and definitely not losing weight currently, I’ll rejoin the weight loss team once I’m cleared postpartum. Until then, I’m just hanging out, focusing on a healthy pregnancy and trying my best to support you all.)3 -
Hi all,
I'm going to take a few weeks from this group. I've lost two fur babies in the last couple of weeks and I really need some time to mentally reset.
Keep reaching for your goals! I'll be back soon.
@Beka3695, can you please move me to inactive for a bit?

Come back when you are ready!!

Woah where did the week go!?!?!
I’ve been having a pity party for no real reason this week. I’ve been fighting a little bug and packing to move back to Georgia…. Can you believe it? 14 months later and I’m going home for good!!! I’m going to miss this little fella so much, but it is time to get on with my life… right?
I have not been logging or weighing in… little exercise and I’m scared of the scale Saturday. I will weigh in and post the gain.
Starting over one more time!!5 -

I’ve only made tiny progress again this week, but I guess it’s still progress. My goal is to reach 125 by the end of 2021 and maintain between 125 and 130. I hope everyone is doing well. Welcome to all the new members and wishing all ShrinkingAssets the best as we transition to August!5 -
@Beka3695 I can only imagine how it must feel. 14 months is a long time to be away from home but also gave you so much bonding time with your grandchild!
It might be tricky getting a "new" old routine established but you are resilient! You got this!2 -
I have been trying to keep my eating under control this week and what I mean by that is only eating what I have brought with me for the day and not driving anywhere to get take out. My gut thanks me for this. Processed food really throws a wrench in things.
I am looking forward to a fun weekend. Friday night we will go to a local county fair to watch the demolition derby with my daughter and her boyfriend. That will be some awesome fun but there will be some drinking involved. I plan on practicing moderation which I haven't been very good at so we will see how it goes!
I will check in with my weight tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great day and fantastic weekend!2
