    @lindamtuck2018 thanks again for the phone info. I am able to use it on my android. Diamond dots is the same as 5d diamond painting. I have the same problem with frames so I improvised. I am going to use ribbon to create a frame and then hang it using velcro strips in the back. If it works then I can change out the pictures easily.

    Does that include mince? Not sure what diet your baby is currently on but since mince is a normal part of a raw diet for dogs would that be ok? I can put pills in my dogs' mince and its gone without them even noticing.

    I actually discovered half way through the day that my step counter had run out of charge so I lost a few steps. Partner and I did another 15 mins of zumba together tonight, or as I like to call it, synchronised arm flailing 🤣 we are going to try to do it 3 times a week.

    That is too funny! Synchronized arm flailing! 😂 Great job with the exercise. You guys will have to change the saying to a couple who exercises together stays together.

    My partner is already saying "Couple that Zumba together stay together!" Haha, its hilarious watching us trying to keep up with the APP but if I get confused with the steps I just say "As long as I keep moving it still counts!"
  • Hello lovely people

    I'm finally able to access the community via my android phone although trying to navigate is taking some getting used to.

    So glad they reverted back to BBCode, tried commenting via the web a few days ago and wasn't able to quote only 1 section, had to be the whole thing plus no bolding etc 😠.

    Anyways, I've been quiet due to this plus just generally being busy BUT I've mostly been on track food diary wise minus some hormonal days.

    Onward and upward.

    Try to take it one minute at a time. I know it is harder for you as you work but try when the pain gets really bad to rest or find a position that gives you some relief. Do you have the option of working from home? Have you asked the doctor for an mri? I had to wait a few months for mine and the wait to see the specialist. Remember, this weight loss journey is definitely not a straight line. There will be bad decisions, days and sometimes weeks. I think chronic pain makes all aspects of life difficult including weight loss. The one thing I have learned after dealing with pain that slowly got worse over the last 2 years is I have to adjust my life to manage th3 pain. That meant everything from changing the way I exercise to accepting that I can’t do as much as I used to. Jonathan, I really feel for you. Dealing with pain is a journey in itself that we have to learn to navigate. Hang in there.

    FYI, I took you advice. Definitely slowed things down today, and refocused just on today moment by moment. As far as pain goes today, it was actually pretty good. Unfortunately I used Nyquil last night, and um I slept like a baby, and work up loser then I have in a long time. (can't do that again tonight though).

    I see my Doctor on December 2nd. See what she says and who knows I do seem to be getting somewhat better. I really think I Need to start pushing myself to walk every morning. But it just hurts so much in the morning, but I know I'll be better off If I do. Even if it's just a little bit. So I need to start working on that more. Tomorrow morning maybe? Anywhooo... Here comes my workout day post....

    ---

    I'm alive guys... But I haven't been the best. 😬

    I took some advice from some of you.. And I decided not to do anything on LEG DAY (Friday). I actually took the day off? Can you believe that?

    The Friday before, was a good day and it felt good to exercise my legs... But Friday night turned into a really terrible night of no sleep and constant pain. And I didn't want a repeat this Friday. And maybe, just maybe, I was feeling more pain last Friday and it may have worn me down to the point I just didn't want to work out. So, I'm on the fence as to whether I actually threw in the towel and used it all as an excuse? I really don't know. Maybe?

    This weekend, we went to a birthday Party... I actually had a good day again, not too much pain. Probably because I went shopping for the second time on Saturday morning. Mornings are rough cause I always wake up tight, but once I get mobile and have a chance to relax a bit. It seems the walking actually loosens me up, and the benefits seem to last throughout the day. So the idea is, I really need to try and push through, and get some walks in no matter how much it hurts at first. I think in the end it might be the only thing that saves my *kitten*?

    Anyway.. It's all been getting to me. I've made some bad food decisions this weekend. And it ended up costing me big time on the scale this morning!

    I GAINED 10.2 pounds this morning. Now I know this isn't legitimate fat gain, cause even with my bad decisions there is no way it adds up to 35000 calories in just one week. But carbs and me, well yeah I can turn into a sponge and that's what happened. I was pretty pissed off with myself this morning.

    So, it was time to refocus today.. Live each day 1 minute at a time, 1 hour, so on and so forth. No more beating myself up, and also no turning back just because I made a few poor choices.

    So yeah, I had a good day and I feel better about the week coming up. I still have no idea how I will feel about leg day that's coming, but I'll do it. Maybe I won't go heavy, maybe I'll keep it just to basics. But I think I can. I think I Can. I think I can. So yeah, I'm in a much brighter place at this very moment.

    Back and Biceps tonight...

    So, I decided to do a google search on DUMBBELL ROWS VS DUMBBELL CHEST PRESS... I was curious if maybe I was going up in weight to fast in my Bent over Rows... and what the relationship is between someone's Bent Over Row and their Bench Press. Turns out I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. Apparently, people on average pull 7% on Rows then they push in DB Bench. And I was Rowing 105LB dumbbells today... And on Saturday I was benching 95 (4 reps) Pound Dumbbells. So pretty much on point. Which tells me I must continue to go heavy. 110 Pound rows next week. 😉

    And FYI to anyone interested. Dumbbell rows is probably the best and most important exercise you can do, if you want a big bench. Afterall when the weights get down to the lowest point, it's your Lats that flare that start the dumbbells on their way back up. Without a strong back and lats, you cannot have a strong bench press. Of course, shoulder press, Pullovers and others are also important. But the DB Row is a True Mass builder.

    Anywhooo... Perhaps 120-pound dumbbell bench isn't too far off in the future? Meh. 🙂

    Holiday baking and holiday m & ms, plus awesome cayenne pepper almonds have kept me over calorie budget since last Friday. Finally went to my first day of exercise. Am so weak and unable to walk heel to toe on my right foot due to time in the cast. Yet very happy that I did it. Just did squat, deadlift, hip thrusts and bench press then rode the exercise bike. Looking forward to next session.

    Since my mothers side of the family is not getting together for Thanksgiving(35-49 people in one small house) I called up one of my cousins and invited her out to lunch this week. We both have a lot of health issues so can understand what the other is going through. She's one of those people who can tell you about her day and make it humorous and interesting no matter what happened. Am really looking forward to seeing her.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970 hope you have better luck giving Aspen pills than one of my cousins giving her kitten pills. The first time she took the kitten to the vet, the staff gave it plain Cheez Wiz and the kitten gobbled it up. They told my cousin to give it the pills in Cheez Wiz. The first day that worked. On the second day and after, the kitten no longer would eat it whether there was a pill in the cheese or not.

    The vet put her on a urinary dry food and a can of wet food ...she did great on Sunday but struggled this morning and won't eat the dry food ... I called this morning but I have not heard from the vet yet ...

    OMG I don't know what's going on with my tummy right now, I haven't drastically changed what I'm eating but my stomach won't shut up. I share an office with another lady and my stomach sounds like a pod of whales during mating season, it's so embarrassing! :s:D

    Meanwhile MFP it currently telling me I've lost over 1800lbs to date haha, I'd be dead 10 times over if that was the case. Oh well, onwards and upwards.

    Steps - 5179 plus 12 min exercise bike moderate effort.

    @Pippin20206 congrats on losing 1800 lbs. You will have to tell us how. Lol

    I hope you soon have better luck getting in. The good thing about bad weekends is we can turn it into a great week.

    @aussie_girl_del_runner_5
    Glad you got into the community. Hope things slow down for you and it’s great you are sticking with your plan.

    @Pippin20206
    Great check in! Hope your stomach settles but your description made me laugh.

    @Poobah1972
    At one point I was doing mini walks. I would go for 5 or 10 minutes. I have a long hallway in the building. Take your time and build up. Amazing burn young man!

    @Beautyofdreams
    I am so glad I don’t bake. It’s not that I wouldn’t but more the fact anything I bake is awful. I would be eating it all myself if I did. I am glad you got exercising. I know you missed it so much.

    @rwood566
    Great exercise! It was wise to stop when your breathing was different. I ordered a diamond art yesterday. It is a Christmas one. I got it from Amazon.

    Sorry I'm a day late - I've been terribly busy with work and spent most of the weekend on my laptop - except for celebrating my dad's birthday Sunday night which showed up on my Monday morning weigh-in. Work should slow down to a 'normal' level this week and I'll make more of an effort to get off my butt!

    Didn’t swim as long yesterday. I did a lot of stretching. I am considering using the bike for 10 to 15 minutes before I go to the pool just to shake things up. I spent an hour on the phone with apple support so I hope the heart rate issue is fixed.
