Hi all!
Got my cast off this afternoon. My ankle is so weak that when I walk it doesn’t bend and walk on the outside of my foot. Will start out with short walks. They tell me that the plaster casts weigh around 4 pounds. Have been severely emotional binge eating for the last 3 weeks. Will weigh in tomorrow. Goal for the week is to log and eat at maintenance. Am so looking forward to showering, driving and moving around.

I can use the weight for your starting weight and next week will be an official weigh in for the challenge. No matter what the scales says today put it behind you and make a fresh start. So glad your cast is off.

I really don’t want to go to the pool but I want to get the badge on my Apple Watch for a perfect week. What can I say, small things amuse small minds. I am going to a quarter auction tonight. It is the first one since they stopped in March 2020 because of the pandemic. Besides my weekly coffee group, this is the first non family event I have been to since the pandemic started. My weigh in is tomorrow so the hardest part for me will be sticking to just my snack when I get home and going to bed right after. I am seeing a big link between sleep, getting out of my routine and over eating. Off to the pool!

Guess the cast really did weigh 4 pounds! Please put me back on Tuesday weigh ins. Goals are to move around more and strengthen my ankle and to keep weight stable over the holidays. It is so good to be back and have some accountability.

These little hellhounds are my Why, they are my reason to live and get up in the morning, they are my life. Of course there is my partner as well, but he's the kind of perfect guy that tells me he loves me and I look beautiful even when I feel like a hippo. He's always worried when I say I'm going to lose weight, and tells me "Make sure it's not off your bum or your boobs!" haha, but seriously he's very supportive of me having a healthy lifestyle and has been bugging me for years to start eating vegetables.

Phew I am tired .... We walked 6.01 miles ...then we had to go grocery shopping ....we shopped all day my steps right now are 34,390...I still have to make dinner ughhhhhhh

Glad you are back! Ease into the walking as we don’t want you back in a cast.
They are adorable! They must keep you busy. It’s good to have a partner that is supportive.

I need to get used to this weird new MFP look, lol. We are well. I'll check in tomorrow. We are now at almost 20 inches of snow in less than 24 hours!! And it is supposed to keep up till midnight.😳😉😊

good morning from the UK...Thought I would come say hi, been a bit busy and hardly been at the computer this last week, after today I have 2 weeks annual leave and I am going to paint my stair way walls.
I am back in full swing on my weight loss and I have noticed I am starting to really enjoy "healthy" food, I am also starting to really think about what food I put into my mouth as I don't want to waste calories if that makes sense. I just feel so much better eating a salad than crisps for my calories lol. I know this time I will succeed and get to a healthy BMI and I can't wait to see how I will look!
So I'm not 100% on this new forum thing but I can live with it and it does seem to be more clearer …I guess just getting used to the new format. Hope you all have a good day!

Steps - 7111 woo made my target for once!
We were going to have a BBQ tomorrow but the weather is *kitten* and we've had an outbreak of gastro at my work so not going to risk having any guests over. Still have all the food though, groan. Partner and I are just going to have our own little party. I've got things like raw salmon, tuna and oysters which I love and aren't too bad. My partner has tracked down some low cal champagne (65 calories a glass) for me to enjoy and we tested out a low fat dessert tonight. Mini pavlova, diet lemon sorbet, fresh raspberries and tinned passionfruit. The whole dessert came to about 200 calories and was sooo yummy.
So we'll see how i go tomorrow but hopefully won't have too much of a blow out.

Keep all that snow in Alaska! We have had some crazy nice weather but this tomorrow it’s back to seasonal. I am having a heck of a time formatting my post with the new layout.
Its great that you enjoy the healthy food. I am still have almost 3 years not to that point. Have fun painting. It should burn lots of calories.
Awesome steps! I think we have to experiment with recipes to find some nice lower calorie options. I hope you don’t get sick.

This new format is driving me crazy. I can’t figure out why everything is double spaced unless you do it as a list. Got in to chocolate and candy at the auction. I won a gift basket and it had some chocolate. I ended up eating some of that when I got home. Not the greatest willpower last night. I am super tired but I am off to the pool. I may just do a cardio workout today as my shoulders are sore from all the laps.
