Things are looking good! Lots of green (losses!) and only 5 more weigh-ins due by 8 am (Eastern US/Canada) Sunday:
@socajam
@bionicpuffy
@Anniesquats100
@pipsqueak34
@Stefbomb2020
No one will be penalised for late or no weigh-ins this week - it is a bit of a mess for the app on Android, and everyone is scrambling a bit. I hope you can get there and record the weights for the week, but don't panic if you cannot!2 -
What a wonderful Sunday, time for some fresh air. An up and down week though kept things going. Even had a proper night out, at a bar, with people and everything! Stayed off the alcohol though so not a proper, proper night out and I think I can get used to sober me not having to apologise for what drunk me said!
07/11/21 - 114.1
14/11/21 - 112.3...(1.8)...(12.8)
Who knows what this week can bring but it feels good so far8 -

I’ve been wanting to try the tuna ‘cups’ that some people make in small cupcake tins prepared as snacks. I think they would satisfy a salty craving — but maybe not. I tend to lean toward savory and umami flavors so I’m starting to wander here! 😬
Hi @PatriceFitnessPal I'm a Captain from another team and saw your message about tuna cups...I'm intrigued...what can you tell me about them as I LOVE tuna and frequently take the tuna pouches to work and make sandwiches for my lunches. This might be something I'd want to try...you can send me an email to jakrall@cox.net or find me in the TrimStones chatroom...would love to hear a produce reference and/or recipe if you have it.
Thanks...love some of your snack and tea/chai ideas...
Take care!
Jessica

Our second week of November has concluded! Be sure to check out the results of this past week in the link below.

Here's a sneak peek of how your team did...
Looking to start November Week Three out strong? Check out our new challenge!
November Week Three Challenge - Move More!4 -
@jessicakrall8 - I’ll also try to find the TrimStones team space - but the new format might make it tricky until we can learn to navigate the site - so, I’m posting a couple of recipe links here:
https://chickenofthesea.com/foodservice/recipes/albacore-tuna-muffin-cups
https://starkist.com/recipes/tuna-salad-cups
I heard the idea from someone in an Accountability buddy thread I follow. I think people who follow a keto diet might have other ideas so that might be another MFP group worth checking for recipes. Thanks for all the work you do for the Fit2Fat and TrimStones groups!1 -

Congratulations to all the Shrinking Assets on the leader board and in the green!
I’ll look forward to this week’s movement challenge. I have a soccer game at 8pm so I’ll sign in later and report the score — Hope to see some of you in the Week 3 space!4 -
Well my first night out in 18 months didn't work out and I got pinged to go and get a PCR test which is done and now to await the result!
Great work on the weight loss everyone!5 -

Great work on the weight loss everyone!
We had a night out at a bar with a live band last night. I can’t even remember the last time we did that! I’m up a pound as a result but hopefully mostly sodium. I was good and only had one glass of wine.
Hope you get good test results soon; the waiting would give me anxiety!

Happy News!
@jessicakrall8 has agreed to step up to the role of Moderator! She has been a fantastic captain for Team Trimstones for a long time, and we are very glad to have her join us. Jessica will be taking on the Group Challenges, as well as the ongoing work to keep the teams running smoothly, our members getting the most out of Fat 2 Fit, and the Captains and Motivators getting all the support they need. She will still be at the helm of the Trimstones, and I am sure they will agree that she is worth sharing with the entire Group. Welcome!

Thank you @PatriceFitnessPal,
I've been looking for ways to increase my protein intake. Coincidentally, I just had some tuna today. I like to add some diced celery, bell pepper, carrot, and a little habanero pepper for a kick. I usually just have sandwiches, but sometimes I'll make tuna patties. But these tuna "muffins" look delicious and convenient, so I'm going to give them a try. I also enjoy adding some tuna (or canned chicken breast) to some white gravy and have it over drop biscuits.
I might also try that "muffin" recipe with chicken in place of tuna. I'm looking for more variety in ways to increase my protein intake.1 -
New week, new plans - how are y’all doing?
I had a fun weekend, I had my first night away from my baby as I went to my student organization’s annual white tie gala with a bunch of friends. We had a ”one last time” mentality going in, and there truly is a new generation coming in. We were seated in the table of honor, apparently for simply being few of the guests who had actually been to the gala before (covid took care of things last year so freshmen and sophomores are all newbies), and turns out the master of ceremonies was the son of someone one of us has known for years. I had a couple of glasses of wine and it was really an interesting experience, seeing how my body and taste buds react to alcohol after a pregnancy-long break. Yesterday was Father’s Day in my corner of the world, and it was the first of its kind for our family. Our daughter and I went out to get dad an extra nice breakfast, I got baby&dad some cute matching socks as a present, and we celebrated with a steak dinner and some cake.
This week my plans are pretty similar to last week: continue getting into a daily rhythm with our daughter. It’s also a special week as I’m turning 30 on Tuesday! I have plans to go for a birthday sushi lunch with a friend who’s also on maternity leave. Another friend is coming to visit and meet the baby on Wednesday and yet another on Saturday, and on Sunday a group of friends is coming over for a dinner of all the things I wasn’t allowed to eat during pregnancy. It’s going to be a fun week! There’s a lot of celebrating going on but I refuse to stress about calories, the amount of milk I produce is about 600-800 calories extra daily anyway.7 -

Having a heck of a time getting motivated! I had to sit down and make a new realistic plan for workouts. I am lost without a plan and can easily get derailed!! Planner is color coded and daily goals written down. I forget how much of a relief a good plan can provide. Have a great week everyone!10 -

Could you remove my name from the list, I will return in the New Year - too much stuff going on right now.
Thanks - Good luck ladies and all the best for the holidays6 -
@socajam - Best wishes managing everything in the next couple of months. I’m sending a link to a MFP thread that might be useful in maintaining the progress you’ve made:
https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10787818/minimum-basic-and-preferred-habits#latest
I’ve heard it can be productive to take a break. The main idea of the discussion above is to focus on minimum-level habits that help us keep a healthy routine when life is overwhelmingly busy. I clear plan can prevent us from slipping too much during the break. We’ll look forward to your renewed energy and perspective when you return in the new year!4 -

My run of 33 weeks of losing at least 2 pounds per week has ended in me losing only 1.6 pounds this week. I know it was inevitable, but it is a sad day nonetheless.7
