My knees were acting up yesterday - but I was able to get my steps in. My appointment with the knee doctor is today - I'm really excited about it - I'm hoping there is some type of brace or sleeve that will help me so I can get back to regular exercise. I'm also thrilled with my weight loss this past week - I had been feeling a little discouraged - but this just shows that if you stick with your plan, the weight will come off. I have just 8.5 pounds to go until I reach a healthy BMI and 17.5 pounds to go until I reach my goal weight - that said, I reserve the right to lose another 10-15 pounds if my doctor and I decide that's a good idea. Anyway, this day is starting out great and I'm going to work hard to make sure that continues! I hope you all have a wonderful day!!6 -

Never apologize for a gain. You are killing it with your exercise.
@Megan_smartiepants1970
I hope you enjoyed your walk and your doctors appointment went well.
@littleflutterby
Congrats on the loss! You guys got way more snow than London. It’s funny because once you got past Chatham there was no snow. Glad you didn’t get stranded.
@MeowScout
Hope you are feeling better today. Does black coffee count?
@red1185
Nice job crushing your step! That’s a wonderful NSV. You have an excuse to go shopping. Congrats on finishing your course. Baniff is beautiful. I lived in Alberta for 6 years and made it there a few times.
@Jpedno
Thanks! The wildlife reserve sounds awesome. You are back on track so one off day won’t make a difference in the big picture. That’s great you are doing the couch to 5k.
@rwood566
Snacking gets me every time the grandkids are over. I buy them treats and I end up eating some of them.
@jayenguk
Fantastic loss!
@Bluetail6
Thanks! I am like Roger, I never heard of an ankle replacement. It is amazing what they can do now.
@peng123
Awesome loss! You are getting close to goal. That must feel good. All your hard work is paying off. What kind of doctor do you see for your knees? First when I hurt my knee (I have a fake one now), I had a brace that was fantastic. I payed a good bit for it but it was worth it. Hope the doctor comes up with a good solution.

I am taking it easy again today. I am pretty sure I pulled my groin muscle along with my normal back issues. It hurts and feels like someone is tightening a wide belt around my thigh. That’s what the massage therapist figured it was. I am having a hard time staying positive right now which in turn I’d affecting my focus with weight loss. I hope the back specialist can get me into somewhere fast but given the Covid situation I know I have to be patient. No pun intended. 😂 The government is making an announcement this week what restrictions they are going to lift. I am praying the pool will open in some capacity. I hope you all are killing your goals today.4 -

Good Morning Everyone .... I had to get an x-ray on my foot this week ... the top of it and the side of it hurts real bad and my ankle is swollen (he thinks I have arthritis or something in my ankle) ... My podiatrist said wear the boot when standing long periods ... I see him next week .... My regular Dr doesn't want me on keto so I upped my carbs a little bit and he wants x-rays on my hips and tailbone (I am in pain after our walks that I can barely move when we get home) ughhhhhh it is never ending with me ... so today I will be wearing my boot and meal prepping ... We are going on a shorter walk today Aspen needs her daily walks ..I hope everyone else is doing good3

A friend shared this with me. Is there anything in the list or you can think that effects your weight loss?

@Bluetail6. Be sure to use self rising flour when you make the beer bread. You can use any kind of beer. I don’t know about using honey since it has anti microbial properties and may inhibit the yeast in the beer, but I’m no expert. There are wheat and white versions on the internet. I have made the white bread version. It is great with added cheese when baking.
@hugs to you both @lindamtuck2018 and @megan_smartiepants1970.
@Jpedno. Great job finding your triggers and continuing on with your healthy lifestyle.
@peng123. Awesome loss! You are strong and will hit your goals.
@red1185. It’s 20 below zero with the windchill here in Iowa. The snow will be here awhile. Congratulations on completing your travel certification. Hawaii sounds awesome.1 -

Psycho dog lived up to his name last night. He bit my leg I know this will slow me down a little as I am healing in multiple places now. My trainer actually wants me on maintenance calories for the duration of my recovery so I can have a break and give my body the nutrients to build and not rob my muscle. So hopefully I won't gain but actually maintain.I really should have thought about that before surgery but I didn't. She just assumed I would be eating more. My diet mentality always fights with me about this and I just need to do it so my metabolism does not crash again. So Feb.21st I go back to the doctor and get liberated hopefully. So I have a while before I will be cutting again. At least with a more sedentary life my maintenance calories are 2000-2100. When I workout and lift it is 23-2600. So having a maintenance period now is better for my head. I have yet to do a bulk phase. I know that will mess with my head big time.During all of this keeping my Macros for protein 30-35% of my calories and fiber 25+g per day.
Sorry this is late but things have been a little crazy.6 -

@Beautyofdreams thanks so much for the info on the beer bread. I was going to try using honey on my next one but I agree with you on it possibly affecting the yeast.1

Good evening
It's been very cold here and my upper body has been aching almost non stop, especially my upper body ( From arthritis). I spent almost an hour today exercising my upper and lower body (Stretching, and seated cardio workout) it helps a little to work out the soreness in my body. I'm going to try doing them 3 to 4 time a wweek
Hope everyone has a good evening.5 -

Good evening everybody. I’m excited to say that today was a good day! We did a lab in class, which always has me up and moving, and they did a good job so I was still energized and in a good mood when the day was over. By the time the day did end, I was 2,000 steps OVER my daily goal. I still had enough energy to take the dog on a walk AND cook dinner! I’m at nearly 13k steps today! That never happens lol
In other news, I got my official “business certificate” from the state of GA for my travel agency! I’m so excited!
Y’all posting all these cold temperatures makes me look forward to Hawaii even more LOL j/k. Honestly, I think I said this before, but one of my life goals is to experience a TRUE snowfall! Like, FEET of snow - not just a few inches, and the. It disappears by the afternoon or next day. All of you who live in Canada: it’s on my bucket list FOR SURE. According to my dad we have relatives up there, but we don’t know where they are lol. I guess I just have to travel to all parts of Canada to find them lol - how sad for me 😉.
Anyway, I hope you all are having a lovely evening. Take care, stay warm, and be safe! ❤️4 -

Nice loss!
@flowerblossom_58
Great job on exercise and I am glad it helps with the stiffness.
@red1185
I love good days! You killed it on the steps. You are more than welcome to our snow. I am listening to them clean up the snow from last night and we are still under a snow squall warning.
@rwood566
Fantastic walk! You should have slept like a baby after that.

Congrats on the loss!

Today is the day! I go this afternoon to see the specialist at the spine clinic. I hope I get a solution. My groin/thigh pain is a little better but I still need to rest. There is going to be an announcement about restrictions today and the rumours say that restaurants will open the end of the month. I will let you know about the pool tomorrow.
I will post a gain tomorrow but weight is coming down since Tuesday. I lost 5.4 of the 8.6 pounds that I was up from Friday. I was holding on to a ton of water. No more jiggs dinner(very high sodium) for awhile.
Happy Thursday!6 -

Hello Team. Finally able to check in with you guys. I wish I could do better on being active in here. This week I’ve struggled a bit with feeling tired. I’m feeling a little better today but still struggling through my workouts. Yesterday was my first day logging my food and I’ve been doing good with it again today. I hope I can keep up with that. I got on the scale this morning and it seems I have a bit of a spike. I do hope I manage to get it back down by Saturdays weigh in. I’m not too sure why I’m feeling so low on energy but I do hope it passes soon. I think it maybe hormonal as I’m also quite emotional these days.
Anyways @Megan_smartiepants1970 here are my steps so far.
