Falling asleep while reading posts💤💤💤. Here are my steps @ashleycarole86
Please mark Friday as 8,500 steps. My battery had to be recharged and I know I got at least that.
Monday and Wednesday Pilates this week for 15 min and lots of going through boxes and packing. Lol

I think my wagon got a parking ticket this week! I've basically had a week 'off' to rest and recover - worked Mon-Weds then a long weekend - and whilst the rest has done me the world of good I may have gone a little too far as I didn't bother tracking (or monitoring at all) my intake.
The healthy highlight was running my fastest KM on Saturday (the homework set by my trainer) which came in at 5:26 - my happy pace is around 7:30. The weather didn't help, as we've had a few days with lots of wind and rain; I think we've been spoilt with dry weather for quite a while, and OH is full of cold so we haven't particularly wanted to go out and about. I'd be fine today if I'd slept alright but couldn't quiet my mind last night - typical!
To get my wagon back on the road, I have pre-tracked my meals up to and including Thursday so it's just snacks to choose and fit in. I'm aiming to knock one thing off the to do list each day, because it's enormous but I need to find a better balance than I had in January. Yesterday I made a replacement windowsill cushion for the cats which took far longer than anticipated but turned out well. I have the chiropractor this evening so I will look for a smaller task today.6 -
checking in Monday morning - loads prepped in the fridge for a GOOD week! I found some serious motivation yesterday morning when I put back 3 pairs of jeans because they didn't feel comfortable....grrr.....8

@DD265 Having some rest time is so important! I also think that stepping away from logging is a well-earned necessity sometimes, so try not to beat yourself up about that. You can easily step back into your routine when the time is right.
@eggfreak You sound ready for this week! I find myself the opposite of motivated when I pull on pants that are too tight, and that has happened to me a lot in the last year. We will fit into those tight jeans soon enough!
Happy Monday to all WaistAways! I hope that you have something lovely planned for yourself on this day. I got in a walk and some cardio on the elliptical, and also some strength training today. Looking forward to hitting my goals today, especially with hydration.

@DD265 Congrats on the 5K!! Super exciting. Good strategy on the pre-tracking.
2/6 exercise:
11713 steps + 100 minutes snowshoeing + 20 minutes boxing (included in steps) + 11 minutes Peloton
I woke up this morning 3 pounds heavier on the scale than yesterday and with this crazy bloated feeling in my stomach I don't feel the physical bloating often but boy I sure do this morning. Jeans feel like they're pressing on the tummy for sure. I think my lunchtime walk is going to do me wonders
Have a great Monday all7 -

Congratulations ladies for taking our team to 2nd place in January! Wow - excited to be part of this group of winners (and losers)!
I am past the point where I usually quit whatever weight loss plan I am doing. I usually make it 2 or 3 weeks. I'm really hoping these two challenges I am a part of will keep me motivated but so far so good. Thank you to everyone that makes these work. I haven't posted much - still shy but I appreciate this group of fantastic people!
Have a great week everyone!6 -
Happy Monday everyone!
I feel my mood coming back today. I feel more purposeful. Morning meditation - ✅, workout - check ✅ hydration - on target (already at 1 litre).
And all food consumed today has already been logged - leaving plenty for supper, so I should be easily able to come in under calories.
I'm splitting up my working day with small household tasks that hopefully use up some steps.
Cancer Relief is starting a charity event next month - 10,000 steps a day in March. I think I might join in. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone, right?
Enjoy your day, Friends.

I had two accounts going. I believe I joined this group under one and log all my food into the other. I am trying to consolidate and get rid of one account.3

Just posted above to see which username came up. I had previously been using twdempsey and now will be using wendydpromos. Would someone be able to switch that for me? I am sorry for causing confusion. I will delete my other account once this community group is all set. Thank you!2

I will be happy to change that for you!@jugar I am still here and I am sorry I didn't send a weight last week! We were rushing to get out the door early Friday morning to go visit my daughter and I forgot to weigh. It was a great weekend with her and I will be sure to send a weight this week!
Daughters - I'm telling you. They can make you rush and forget everything! No worries, Gary. I'll hold your spot for you on Friday for sure3 -
Quick update! Only one weigh-in due Tuesday:
@Kali225
Overdue:
@graceojo999 hope you're doing OK! Pop on by if you can.2 -
Hi! Still sorting wrapping and packing. I have too many things. Baskets, bottles, photos in frames, books, books, and more books. It’s crazy with two teachers. My steps have been great because I am busy busy! Water could be better. Food is fine, but I’m not logging. No time.
Hope everyone had a great day !5 -
a win last night....served up ice cream & chocolate sauce but for myself had an apple...4

@jugar Feeling so much better. Glad to see negative numbers on the scale again. My boyfriend has finally jumped on board the weight loss train. I think this is going to help me even more. My goal for Febuary was to be 275. That was kind of a lofty goal but I'm gonna keep trying for it.
I don't know how all of my new Canadian friends here can tolerate all that cold weather. I was raised in the mountains in West Virginia but moved south to avoid snow. Now North Carolina is even too cold for me. It was 44 degrees out this morning and I'm about to freeze. Bless you all for not only living in those Temps but getting out and doing stuff.

I'm really struggling with stress right now. My husband has been having a rough work year and having the occasional anxiety attack. This is not normal for him. I have been picking up a lot of the slack at home and it was getting to be too much. My job has also been difficult and we had another teacher announce her retirement in 2 weeks. We have one teacher who finished quarantine but refuses to come back. Crazy stuff. When I get super stressed I can get fat off air it seems. My weight is up and I don't think it will be down by Friday.
My husband and I made a plan to help everyone get back on track or at least on stable ground. We redistributed chores and the kids are helping too. It took a lot off my plate and I actually had time to exercise. We are also making more time for hobbies and that feels good. I'm going to take Thursday off this week and stay home and spend the day doing things I want.
I know others are having a hard time right now too. Sending hugs to all of you!9
