@lindamtuck2018 Please keep me on the maintenance team - I spoke with my doctor and we are just going to evaluate week to week - thank you! Also - great steps! Have a great swim today!
@Megan_smartiepants1970 Thank you! I think you are out for a walk right now - hope you're having a great time!
@Morethanjustanumber Awesome steps - congrats!
@rwood566 Great job staying away from the candy - I think I might try to challenge myself to some candy-free days - I've been eating some type of sugary treat each day so that I don't feel like I'm on a diet

@Megan_smartiepants1970 Thank you! I think you are out for a walk right now - hope you're having a great time!
You're welcome ...I didn't enjoy this walk due to my hips hurting the entire time ... Stupid hip dysplasia1 -
Things are changing for me and after today I won't be able to continue with this challenge, nor with mfp. Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause.
You never really know what circumstances happen in life that can change things for you, but we learn and adjust to them. I'll still continue on this weight loss journey, and one day reach my final weight goal.
Wish everyone the best with this challenge and in your lives.5 -

Weigh In Day: Thursday
PW: 273.4
CW: 267.2
Loss: 6.2lbs
So happy with this! After hitting my highest weight ever last week, I knew I needed to make changes immediately and stop with excuses. I know it won't be like this each week and it's mostly water weight. My TOM is due in a few days too, but I'm gna keep at it! Tracking everything, drinking 2+ litres of water and some exercise (walking). I'm also weighing in daily to keep an eye on things.4 -
Happy Thursday, Downsizers! Here's my check-in:
4/20:
Calories: 1,197
Exercise: 70 minutes elliptical
Steps: 12,359
I was not feeling inspired to hop on the elliptical this morning - so I'm planning to go for a run after work.
@Megan_smartiepants1970 I'm so sorry about your hips and your throat! I hope you're feeling better soon!
@KarlyM59 We are so sorry to see you go - we will always be here for you should you decide to come back!
@rwood566 Great steps and calories!
@roz0810 Amazing loss - congratulations! Getting back on track is always the hardest step - good for you!!!
I hope you all have a wonderful day!!

@KarlyM59
Best of luck on the rest of your journey. If you ever decide to come back to mfp we would be more than glad to have you back.
@Megan_smartiepants1970
Sorry you have a sore throat and hips.
@rwood566
With those calories it looks like you had a candy free day. Well done!
@roz0810
Way to turn things around! You have a solid plan for the coming week to set you up for another fantastic loss.
@peng123
Enjoy your run tonight!1 -
Steps: 13,809
Exercise: 58 minutes laps and water aerobics
I am not sure if I will be going to the pool today. I have my rheumatologist appointment this morning. If she gives me cortisone shots I will not exercise today or tomorrow. I am hoping my liver enzymes have gone down as I don’t want to go through a change of my rheumatoid arthritis medication. I have my fingers crossed. Have a great Thursday!2 -

Thursday Weigh Day
PW: 218.6
CW: 221.6
Up again. Bouncing right around 220 has been my standard for about the last year (my high weight was ~270), better than a gain, but I'd still like to lose around another 50 pounds. There are 10 more days in April, my mantra for them is 'Forward'. Then to carry that momentum into May. Next goal is to get down to 204--transitioning from the big O (Obese) to the little o (overweight).

Good evening all. Glad this week is ending.
Check in for 4/21:
Steps - 4879. Just worked some around the house and walked the parking lot when I picked up daughter from work.
Calories - 1835 or close. I had candy today so I can start getting rid of it. Controlled how much I had. 3 days without was surprising. I need to get back into the habit of not eating any for a week or more. Weight tomorrow will show if the sugar is making me jump.
Exercise - none. Stayed home waiting on phone calls that never came.
I am supposed to have surgery in 2 weeks and no pre-op scheduled yet. Not a good sign.3 -

I like your mantra. I just calculated my weight for the transition and I have a way to go as I am a shorty.Good evening all. Glad this week is ending.

Exercise: none

My rheumatologist appointment went well over all. My liver enzymes are back to normal so thankfully no medication change. I didn’t get cortisone as I have to get some imaging done first. She will call me once they come back.
I am so happy with my weigh in. That’s a loss for three weeks in a row. Over the last few weeks, I have dropped my calories slightly and started taking rest days. Also, I am trying not to eat all my exercise calories.
Happy FriYAY!6 -

Weigh in day: FRIDAY
PW: 222.2
CW: 223.0. +0.8 LBS
After the last week I am very happy. Sea world food fest and bfast out last Friday and Easter Sunday had my weight up at 226 most of the week.1 -
Good evening everyone. Quiet today.
Check in for 4/22:
Steps - 2709.
Calories - 1700
Exercise - none. Waited in vain for phone calls again. Cold and windy outside so not even a quick walk.
@lindamtuck2018 I think I will go into maintenance at the end of the month. I don't know what all is needed. Even if I don't get the surgery for some reason. I don't think I will lose much more.1 -

I just move you to the maintenance part of the spreadsheet. You will need to pick a maintenance range. Most people pick a 5 to 7 pound range. If you are above the range for 2 weeks you then move back to the main team until you are in your range again. There is a maintenance chat and I will get you the link. You still do your check ins and report your weight on our team chat.1 -
Steps: 14,001
Exercise: 60 minutes of water exercises and laps
Did mostly water aerobics yesterday and swam for 11 minutes. It’s grocery shopping day so my pool time will be short. For some reason my weight had a whoosh this morning so I am hoping to hang on to that for Friday.4
