    Date 6/5
    Step count 1084

    6/3 steps were a paltry 802

    Being sick has really wiped me out but hopefully I am on the mend starting today!

    Don’t worry about steps, just get yourself better.

    1750 meters this morning. It was a great work out. Noticed how swollen my foot was trying to put on my training fins for 300 meters of dolphin kick on my back.
    Yesterday I was gardening and trimming hedges when I hit a wasp nest. I am allergic to honey so yes to get a sting is scary. Antihistamines, inhaler and ice pack.I was good but I didn't realize how swollen my foot was this morning because I wore sandals. Now that I am home I see it is red and as the hours pass the rash seems to be growing. I hope this is not going to be like last year and it be this way until they decide to give me a round of oral steroids. So again mega doses antihistamine and topical steroids. Hopefully this wil not impact my vacation that starts Wednesday.

    Ouch! I hope you can avoid the steroids.

    Ok week not 100% sticking to 1600 calories and having a good bbq with nice weather so all in all not bad. Need to go well next few weeks as looking for a holiday soon. 165ibs by then would be nice.

    Stick to your goals and you can do it.

    Just got back from our walk ... it was nice since everyone is out for summer break ... My daughter isn't out until this Friday then she will be a Senior in HS come August ...Where does time go? anyway we walked 123 minutes ...5.09 miles with a 629 calorie burn :)

    Your recipe looks delicious. Time does go fast. My granddaughter is entering her last year of high school the fall. Makes me feel old. Great walk. Well done on your first line with the bingo.

    Steps 6/5: 11,646

    Awesome steps!

    Back from vacation. Went in and weigh myself. Only gained a pound, which considering how much beer and food I had is a victory haha. Thank God for all the walking we did. Drunkin Popeyes chicken at 2am it turns out isn't good for you. Back to the pool tomorrow.

    A pound after vacation is reasonable. It won’t take long to shed that.

    Weigh In Day: Monday 6/6
    PW (Previous Weight): 328
    CW (Current Weight): 326

    Not great when weekly weigh-in is the morning after I was out partying with friends at a concert . . . but a good time was had by all! :smile:

    I'm not too worried about the number on the scale right now. I'm getting back into better habits and that's what's important. The weight will come off if I keep this up.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970

    6/5: 7380 steps (13 heart points)

    6/5 was a "pass" day for me, so was a little surprised I had that many steps.

    Two pounds is a very good loss. Imagine what it would have been without the party. Developing good habits is way more important than the numbers on the scales.

    Some nice steps last week.

    Good evening all. Mondays suck.
    Still have my drain. They put betadine in my leg to try to develop some scarring to slow down the drainage. They will do it again next Monday if needed. If it doesn't work after that then they will start to worry. I got the OK to shower finally.
    Calories - about 2000. I was hoping for more but I ate enough for dessert.

    I am sorry they never took the drain out yet. That first shower after surgery is like heaven.

    This is the most I have moved since getting sick. Hopefully today will be even better! The upside is even though I have had more carbs, especially sugar since being sick my weight is below 225. Probably won’t stay there but it was nice to see my scale could do that!

    That’s a hard way to lose weight.

    Happy Tuesday, Downsizers!

    @MadDuck62 The good news is that you still lost weight! Great going!

    @aactuallyaash Great steps!

    @nite_0wl I'm in Richmond, VA and it's in the 90s here - and starting to get humid!

    @Cheesy567 @lindamtuck2018 What is this new dashboard you are talking about - all of my stuff looks the same...

    @rwood566 You are such a trooper - I'm praying that they are able to take that last drain out soon!

    All is well here - I'm taking my mother to some appointments today - getting old is not for sissies! I'm back on plan with my eating - but not with my exercise - hope to get back on track with that this week - I've just been so exhausted that I don't have the energy.

    I hope you all have a wonderful day!

    Cara

    I hope your mom is on the mend. Great job on getting back on track.

    I think the dashboard thing is part of the app. It locks up on me. It is hit and miss getting to my diary and the newsfeed. I read that apple health is not syncing anymore with the app. Hopefully, they fix that one soon.

    I am so frustrated with the updates to the app. Using mfp is now a pain in the behind.

    Happy Wednesday, Downsizers!

    PW: 138.1
    CW: 138.5
    SW: 250

    I gained a little this week - but it could have been a lot worse - so I'm counting it as a win! My mother had two appointments yesterday - and two more today - so it will be another crazy day. My eating is completely on track - exercise, not so much - not sure how I get back to business given my current schedule - I'm definitely feeling frustrated.

    I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

    You crushed your step goal! 👏👏👏

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    Nice walk! Doing well with your bingo card.

    @aactuallyaash
    Hang in there. It’s such a small gain. So many things could cause this. How did your week go? Getting more done on your bingo card?

    @peng123
    Go easy on yourself. You have a lot on your plate. Keep on track with your nutrition and add the exercise back in a few days when things slow down. Hugs!

    @Morethanjustanumber
    Wishing you a quick recovery!

    Steps: 10,877
    exercise: short swim, legs and lighter cardio
    log food: yes

    I am on day three of nausea. I am hoping to get a better workout today than yesterday. But I went yesterday so that’s a win. If there is no one in the pool I will get the second dance party done.

    Some bingo stuff:

    Positive things about myself
    1. I am kind
    2. I am a great grandmother
    3. I don’t give up

    NSV
    I am wearing tops that a friend gave me that I had in the back of my closet as they didn’t fit. Found them when I was decluttering.

    My bingo card progress:

    Will be weighing in early Friday morning. I weigh myself at my Dr office first because my scale only goes up to 300 and I like to weigh myself on the same scale every time.

    You are doing so well with the bingo. I am impressed that your daughter gets up so early to walk with you.

    Like megan, I have a fitbit versa 2. When it dies I doubt if I will have any. I can't afford a replacement.

    Good morning everyone. How was your Wednesday?
    Check in for 6/8: 2480. I did well until bedtime. Grabbed a cookie that I shouldn't have.
