A gain but looking back to 2 weeks ago (196) it's still a loss overall. When I lost weight a few years ago it came off really easily but being 10 years older is making it much more difficult this time.
Have a great weekend everyone x4 -

I think I might start weighing my food instead of using the tablespoon half a cup type method bc I am a big cheater, almost if it doesn’t topple off the tablespoon it’s a tablespoon 😂ya I can’t cheat with a scale and I don’t want to be cheating my body2

I spent the am mowing, then weeding (well, I pulled up the nasty weed preventer mat around my daylilies that did not prevent weeds, just made them creepy albino mutant weeds), then I trimmed tree growths and pulled up some viney creeping weeds in my lawn. And now I am worn out.
The big project I've been on at work is complete, on to the next big project!

I didn't lose any weight this week, but I did maintain despite a tough week, with some over eating on a couple of days.
I operate a home child care business and last week in the span of 24 hours I received notice from a couple of families, meaning I lost 2/3 of my income. Long story short, I then decided to close my daycare permanently in two weeks time.
In one way, I feel like the weight of the world has lifted and I can finally move forward with the next chapter of my life. in another way, I have no income. I am married so we do have my husband's income, but that is not enough to sustain us.
A new life adventure begins now! And I'm going to try very hard to stay on track with my nutrition and going to the gym, so I can maintain if not continue to lose weight as I find my way in life.
So, I'm glad I was able to maintain my weight through the stress and strain of last week.3 -

Hi Team! I'm happy and excited to be joining you for September!
I am 60 years young, retired since 2019, and finally started working on becoming healthier and fit in January this year. So far I have lost 46.4 lbs, which equates to about 20% of my beginning body weight and brings me a little over halfway to my final goal.
I'm looking forward to participating and interacting with you all! I have participated in a few other challenges this year and they really seem to help keep me motivated.

In such circumstances, maintaining is a huge success!
And you know, as the situation is probably very stressful and maybe even scary, I am sure something better is waiting for you round the corner. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Good luck!4 -

Two days below 10K again but this week the average is 11,500!
This weeks challenge motivated me, even though I do not take part in it. I decided I have to get to that 10K of steps a day - every day. I did some yardwork on Friday evening, and then Saturday morning. You can tell by the numbers, right?3 -

I'm not surprised by the gain at all. I wasn't able to step due to being very unwell, laid up and with a migraine that meant I had to avoid all light for a few days on and off. My reduced steps also demonstrate this, they are rather random, some days I felt awful and some days I was desperate to get back on track!

August Week Five
Previous Weight: 176.6 lbs
Current Weight: 176.0 lbs
Loss to Date: 58 lbs
Admittedly, this is my weight from yesterday morning. But I also did an incredibly intense lift last night, so my bloated weight this morning is both disheartening and inaccurate. Therefore, I'm going to run with the number I saw yesterday morning, and I won't feel bad about it. Given I keep scheduling sessions with my personal trainer on Monday evenings, I may move my weigh day to another day, just to preserve my sanity in the face of bloat.
But also, I have been struggling to stay within proper portion sizes over the past month. This is partially because I keep adding social events to my calendar, which often involve alcohol and snacks and more alcohol and more snacks and more alcohol and maybe a dessert after dinner and... it's dangerous. My weight is higher than it was after I returned from three months in France, and that bothers me to no end.
I am tempted to schedule an appointment to do another InBody scan, because at least that will be able to break down my body composition and truly tell me how much fat I've regained since leaving F45 and how much of my current mass is just muscle, plain and simple. There's multiple options for this, but it requires me going out of my way more than normal, and I've been losing motivation rapidly the past couple weeks.
We'll see how it goes. I'm on top of my workout game, I just really need to get back in the habit of actually tracking food past lunchtime and remembering that it's okay to not drink alcohol at the same pace as everyone else. The last thing I need to do is get back into a state of health where my MS starts attacking my nervous system again.
