I’ve been getting on the scale daily and it’s crazy how much your weight will fluctuate 3 days ago I was 4lbs heavier! Definitely a reminder to me not to focus on the scale number so much but to think about what I’m doing and how it makes me feel.3 -

Had a small loss this week due to being sick but hoping to keep it up. My steps this week are horrible because I was so sick. Starting to feel better. My granddaughters birthday is this weekend we are having a party on Sat it's spiderman/Minnie mouse themed. She couldn't make up her mind between her 2 favorites. I'm trying to also get ready for my trip to aruba that I didn't lose any weight for. I do order 2 tests a food sensitivity test and a food allergy test that I saw online. Some said that it worked. I'm hoping to find out what triggers a lot of my stomach issues and take things from there.3

Kind of gutted with this gain this week, I really thought I was on track, I was watching how much I consumed and kept up with all of my steps. So, I'm not really sure what happened here, maybe there's a little delay in the results, or maybe as I'm due on next week I'm all bloated, I mean I feel REALLY heavy at the moment... now it just sounds like I am making excuses... AnYwAy, I'll try again this week and hope for a better result next week 😔

I have been continuing with my intermittent fasting (12-14 hrs), trying not to eat after 7 pm, although there were a couple days that I had to eat a little later. I've been doing this since 10/1 and really has eliminated my late night snacking. I also got a few days of cardio in. On to next week!

well... I have to admit seeing this number this morning was devastating. That's one of those moments when you feel like quitting. I almost did it. But I know that if I do so, there will be only one way ahead ...

I was thinking a bit about this drastic change, trying to avoid being hysterical because I do not believe I actually gained 3.5 lb of fat within past 7 days. Here's what I think contributed:
- As I started to walk more and even included some tries at running* I immediately noticed increase in my appetite - to the level really hard to manage. Finally I was able to curb overeating to some degree but that happened only 2 or 3 days ago, and I still lose it in the evenings. At least until 4 or 5 pm I hold strong.
- The other result of increased physical activity, with noticeably sore muscles is water retention. I really want to believe that today's number reflects a combination of bloat and water retention.
* I am in a pretty bad shape and as I started running on the treadmill last week I wasn't able to run for more than 2 minutes. So I come back several times a day for a 5 minutes of walking-running sessions. By this week I was able to run for the whole 5 minutes but only once, in the morning. Still the length continues to increase slightly. And I can truly feel the muscles I used while running!6 -

A) don't give up. That is excellent progress.
B ) You have been working your muscles...that doesn't just mean water retention, but also muscle building, which weighs more but looks thinner...like Ashley says, maybe focus on how you feel and how things fit more than the numbers on the scale?

Also hi everybody, I am back from my work trip! Adjusting to the time change is going to be a bit rough, but it's nice to be back in my own bed and in control of the substances I put into my body.
I joined the step challenge this week. I bet we are going to absolutely smash our goal of 2 million steps this month. We're already to over 750k, including the results from week 1 and the steps I already have recorded from week 2. I'm excited to see where we land!2 -

Sorry for the real low numbers this week. I spent 4 days in the hospital pretty much all of it in the bed. Got an infection with a lot of pain. My blood counts were all super low so had IV antibiotics and feel so much better. Go back tomorrow for a check up and maybe another dose of chemo4 -

Only a 0.2lb loss, which is pretty much a maintain rather than a decent loss. Bit the scale didn't jump up in numbers with a gain, so I'm I'm about that. A little unsure about it because I've been on my period, but hey whatever, I'll take it! Skipped my period last month, no clue why, then it hit me earlier this month, and it was a pretty bad one, so I really thought I was going to have a big gain, oh well! Glad I didn't! If the scale isn't lying to me...lol.
