I have been diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma. After a short period of denial, I am starting to accept that I need to make some accommodations, even though it is not a life threating or in any other way serious condition. But it does interfere with my favorite kind of physical activity (walking).5 -

A gain this week but it was honestly deserved - I have not eaten brilliantly this past week and haven't been tracking, not have I met my step goal. However I did also have a sandwich late last night which I suspect contributed. I'm fully back on it now though. Slightly over calories yesterday but still under maintenance, am just under calories with a good workout today, and all food for tomorrow is prepped and should keep me under my goal. I've decided I'm not going to track steps this week though. The weather is so utterly miserable that going out for a walk at 7pm in the rain doesn't appeal at all. Building some workouts in instead.
I hope everyone is doing ok and has a good week.4 -

I have been sleeping a LOT during the day. Reading and TV puts me to sleep fast. I have been working on the cross stitch most days for 30 minutes or so. Been feeling off balance so taking long walks is off the plan for now5 -

November Week Two - Friday Weigh In
Previous Weight: 174.6lbs

Loss to Date: 60lbs
It's nice to finally be back to a net 60lbs lost. Over the past week, I've had a couple little hiccups, but I only allowed myself to be out of control for a single day, in which I ate so much I became nauseated. One of the silver linings to my recent breakup is having more control over the foods I put into my body. Unfortunately, this is more of a double-edged sword than a silver lining, as I found I relied quite a bit on my ex-boyfriend's lack of appetite during the day to reduce my tendency to snack.
On the fitness side, I'm doing my best. I took two rest days in a row this week (one planned, one unplanned), which sent my brain into a strange spiral, making me believe I was falling off the wagon (spoiler alert: I wasn't). This led me to really push myself at the gym yesterday and resulted in me downloading a workout tracker that would more effectively keep track of my personal bests so I don't waste so much time trying to rediscover my baselines. It also helps me see just how much I've actually done vs. underestimating how much effort I put into a workout.
But uh, yeah. It's been a weird time. I'm trying to stick to what I know, keeping it as simple as possible.5 -
