November Week Two - Friday Weigh In
Previous Weight: 174.6lbs
Current Weight: 174lbs
Loss to Date: 60lbs
It's nice to finally be back to a net 60lbs lost. Over the past week, I've had a couple little hiccups, but I only allowed myself to be out of control for a single day, in which I ate so much I became nauseated. One of the silver linings to my recent breakup is having more control over the foods I put into my body. Unfortunately, this is more of a double-edged sword than a silver lining, as I found I relied quite a bit on my ex-boyfriend's lack of appetite during the day to reduce my tendency to snack.
On the fitness side, I'm doing my best. I took two rest days in a row this week (one planned, one unplanned), which sent my brain into a strange spiral, making me believe I was falling off the wagon (spoiler alert: I wasn't). This led me to really push myself at the gym yesterday and resulted in me downloading a workout tracker that would more effectively keep track of my personal bests so I don't waste so much time trying to rediscover my baselines. It also helps me see just how much I've actually done vs. underestimating how much effort I put into a workout.
But uh, yeah. It's been a weird time. I'm trying to stick to what I know, keeping it as simple as possible.5 -
