I'm tired just reading this! Hang in there, kiddo - date night is going to be lovely.4 -
So I'm up a bit this week, but that's to be expected. I've been retaining since about last Thursday, although I've kind of kept it to a minimum

My boys are traveling, so I've been baking up a storm and bringing everything to work. Sometimes I hardly eat any of what I've made, but then there have been some days where it's tough to resist. Maybe I should go back to no baking for my own good!5 -
There is all together too much baking! Stop - you're making me hungry!!
OK - I'll calm down. Wednesday weigh-in list - you're up!

My son is here! Yay. I had big plans for Thanksgiving prep today, but that didn’t happen. More to do tomorrow. At least I don’t work until next Monday! And did I mention my son is here?!

Weigh In Day: Wednesday
PW (Previous Weight): 155.2

I'm pretty happy with this nearly 2 lb loss... especially after all of the traveling we've been having to do and eating out. My plan for tomorrow is to eat all the stuff. I'm not counting calories tomorrow, but I'm going to listen to my body and stop when I'm full. And then instead of eating leftover baked goods for a week, I'm leaving them at my mother-in-laws house. I don't need it. And I don't need it tempting me. I love the progress that I'm making and ready to keep moving forward!6 -
Cw is 220.5 yippee! @jugar and in other news I've started making wire wrapped jewelry for fun (and have been selling it too). I think having such a crafty Hobbie is really helping me ❤️ here's an example of what I'm making!
I hope everyone out of the US has a lovely Thanksgiving 😊

I expected that, with all the food I ate this week. After tomorrow, I need to focus on staying within my calorie limit. No more eating sweets at work. The crazy thing is, tomorrow is Thanksgiving (in the US) and then we have our work Christmas party in 3 weeks. This time of year is always hard for me to not eat sweets and lots of food.6 -

@AshenMoon your jewelry is beautiful! You're right that making things with our own hands is extremely satisfying. Let us know if you have a site where you sell things or anything like that
I hope that all of you visiting family and enjoying Thanksgiving have a wonderful day tomorrow. @micki48 I'm so glad that your son is visiting! Enjoy every minute. And no work until Monday!
Hats off to @alydanbeads and @AshenMoon for good losses! It sounds like your planning is working well. WTG!

Hi everyone! The other day my granddaughter, Juliet, got me on my mat for Pilates. She loves to do it with me. I didn’t want to but how could I say no to her, right? Well, today, I started the day on my mat. So I guess I needed that little push to get me back on.
I roasted sweet potatoes to prep for my casserole tomorrow, made coleslaw, prepped veggies, cooked sausage and mushrooms for stuffing and made a pumpkin pie. Hubby and I took a 45 minute walk. Barely made it to the park before sunset because traffic was so bad. Then, we took a path that was way longer than I thought. Feel proud of the exercise I squeezed in to this busy day.
@AshenMoon Love your creations. 🥰 Some great losses I’m seeing. Hope everyone is
having a good week. Happy Thanksgiving US friends! 🦃
Wew! MFP Crashed on my phone and thought I lost this.5 -
Sounds like a lovely day @micki48 and I am so glad Juliet got you back on your mat! Thank her for me

Well my appetite is doing better. We just had parent teacher conferences and sometimes those are just hard. We have 400 preschoolers and they either have special needs or they are low income. When I say low income, I mean very low income. So many people just struggle to parent. Working with families to remember to change their child's overnight diaper before coming to school. It's winter so your child needs to wear socks, coats, hats and gloves. We needed to make reports to child protective services due to injuries to a child. Just a lot of that kind of stuff this round. I have not been exercising and I ate. Deep breath...We have a staff of 12 ladies at work who basically function as social workers and help our families connect to resources, get food and clothing and develop parenting skills. At least these kids have eyes on them. Sorry for the rant 😅 can't keep that stuff in.
It's Thanksgiving and my mother in law and I are doing our traditional menu. We have our specific dishes we each make so the meal comes together quite easily after many years of practice. My youngest is still under the weather and has a fever this morning. I might swing into urgent care because I wonder if he has an ear infection. The rest of the long weekend will be relaxing and getting back on track.
My Christmas decorations are up. I have a little bit of sewing to finish up the guinea pigs Christmas cage. Then I will decorate the piggies room. From Monday on I'm all about Christmas at work. I have a big stack of Christmas themed activities planned: Christmas tree decorating bin, cookie decorating bin with moldable sand, a mini hot cocoa stand activity with piggy banks and two gingerbread themed sensory bins (red/green and pink/purple/land of sweets). From here on out I'm going to my happy zone!7 -

HUGE gain. And now it turkey day.
Happy Thanksgiving, to my American friends, and third Thursday of November to everyone else.7 -
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating today! We are all in a food coma right now 😂 But we did do this in the morning!

@lauren_989 That's the cutest Turkey Trot photo of the day, hands down! You two are looking great.
I saw this one today - holiday standard time!
5 -
Happy Thanksgiving to our American friends! Bills won.. so life is good here. Love the turkey trot photo @lauren_989
Hope you're having a great time with your son @micki48
@conleywoods Wow.. that's a lot between what's going on at school and illness at home. Your Thanksgiving dinner collab sounds lovely.. hope it was a nice meal
Brad had today off and made us a full Thanksgiving dinner. We like any excuse to celebrate and he loves the football. It was a nice meal after a long work day. He vacuumed too and made the bed. He is just too lovely.
The last two work days have been so busy that I didn't get to take my lunch break to walk. Not ideal. I've been too wiped at night too. Otherwise things have been pretty good - my weigh in was up today but that was down overall from where it was during the week. It's disappointing but I can make progress this week.4 -
It is time for the big Friday lineup - get ready:

Thank you Hockey for sweating me back down into my maintenance range!
(no turkey here... Who's got leftovers?)
😉
@conleywoods that's got to be so tough to balance those situations at work without letting it weigh on you mentally and emotionally in the other aspects of your life. Hugs.
@KellyBgetsfit hugs going your way too. I hope date night Saturday gives you a chance to relax.
@lauren_989 good job with the turkey trot! Great photo
@ashleycarole86 and @bowens1973 glad your team won! Did you take Friday off as well to 'recover' from the turkey coma?

Happy thanksgiving to all those that celebrate it.
@lauren_989 love the hats but love the smiles even more!
@conleywoods it sounds like you and the team do an amazing job of supporting the children and families who need you.
@KellyBgetsfit have a lovely date night
On Wednesday I found out that my health insurance does not include mental health services, and because the dietician request is related to binge eating disorder, they count it in that bucket so can't refer me onwards. Immediately after the call I recognised the strongest urge I've ever had (that I've noticed, anyway) to binge, and it literally went 'I want to eat until I throw up' but it quickly transitioned into panic/shortness of breath which distracted me long enough that I could pull myself together and do my CBT/problem solving. I'm pleased to say that I did not binge, and my no-binge streak is at 11 days.
I'll be ringing the NHS this afternoon for my blood test results, so I'll ask them about dietician services. If that's not a goer, either because the waiting list is too long or they don't do it, I'll pay out of pocket. I'd always been open to that, so I don't know why it felt like the end of the world when the insurance company told me no (very nicely, I might add).
Exercise has been lacking the last few days because the weather has been AWFUL. I'm considering getting a mini-stepper/bike thing that I could use under my desk or when sat at the sofa. It's my half work day, so I have a date with the allotment this afternoon, but that's not feasible every day unfortunately. Still have that gym membership collecting dust...7 -

Yesterday was Thanksgiving, so mentally, I did not want to step on the scale to see where I was at. However, even though the number is up, it was not that bad! I’ll take the 0.4 increase and hope that by next weigh-in, it’ll be just bloat/sodium.
I hit my goal of waking up at 5am and working out before work this week. I am so glad I set that up because I worked until 7-8 pm every night and I was so tired by that time, there was no way I would have then wanted to work out if I hadn’t already in the morning. I am going to continue that habit into next week as well.
I’ve taken a look at my passive calories on my Apple Watch and have reset my calorie goal, so I think it will be more attainable for me to achieve now. I think I had it way too low before. We’ll give this a try for a couple of weeks!
Today, I need a rest day after all the exercise last week. I’ll take the pup on a nice long walk with my husband, and probably do some cleaning and meal planning for next week.
In two weeks we’ll be at a wedding, and I also have two work holiday dinners coming up in that same amount of time. I’d like to see myself staying within 1lb. of where I started (188) so fingers crossed.

I am having an amnesty week as we are back in LV with friends and in a hotel so no scale. Whilst it’s been a full on holiday frenzy I have (so far) kept my fasting hours.
Have a great weekend all!3 -

Was very scared about this weigh in being the day after thanksgiving, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although i must confess I weighed in with normal clothes and it originally read 224 then i took off a few pieces as I normally weigh in pjs and it dropped back down lol2 -

I've been sick all week with a pretty nasty cold/flu thing so I haven't gotten any exercise in. I'll need a pass for next weekend as I'm out of town3 -
No problem @kellie_erin - I hope you are feeling a bit better. So many people are having this kind of bug lately. Try to rest as much as you can2
