    Friday weigh in

    Pw 184.8
    Cw 183.2
    Loss 1.6lb

Bit disappointing giving the steps I've been doing, but I've had some really big losses in the last month and my leg muscles are harder, so I'll take it!!

Just 8.2lb left to my target of 101lb lost :)

Great loss this week! well done

I am at the end of my 48 hour fast at 7
pm tonight ...was much easier than I thought... originally it was going to be 36 hour, but I felt so good.

Wow 48 hours. That's impressive. I manage 21 hours most days then just one low carb meal around 500 cals. I'm thinking of trying some longer fasts when I'm back home .... currently in the rv in North Africa and walking to much to do long fasts! Going to read the book you recommended first!

I think it's a game changer....I'm in the middle of the book and I've learned so much.... wish I had this book in my 30's ...it would have explained alot and I wouldn't be on a forever weight loss journey...lol

I have read a life changer of a book too! Mine was "never binge again" by Glenn Livingston. It's free. Really worked for me and still practising what I learnt from him!

    Friday Weigh-in
    PW: 322

Had some dental work done this week. The feeling I get looking at my improved smile makes me want to smile more and is also revising my self-talk. That makes me want to continue choosing things that upgrade my health - physical and/or mental.

Yes, the Mayo Clinic Diet/Lifestyle is an online program (for tracking and menu planning etc) however there is a book that's the same program. I actually purchased the book and journal and started it years ago (I'd say maybe 10), but I didn't really follow the program.

I'm back at it now and so far it's working but I consider this the "honeymoon phase". The first couple of weeks of any plan are usually "doable".

I am going to check this out.

Congrats on the loss! Taking time to take care of ourselves is so important. We tend to focus on the weight loss and not the body as a whole.
