We are dealing with a family emergency right now. I am stressed and my go to move is to eat. I ate too much junk. I am stopping this today. I am not sure if we are even getting together for our Easter dinner.

Oh no! Thinking of you today.

Holy whoosh! I am shocked. This week I tried to be aware of moving more. I reached my increased step goal everyday but one and that was the day of the silent retreat. My granddaughter is over today and we are going to the pool. I am going stir crazy as I haven’t left the apartment since Saturday.

As for the Easter treat question I asked:
I had my husband hid all the Easter treats I bought for the grandkids as last year I ate everything I bought and had to buy more. I found it when cleaning a few days ago but stayed away. We are going for fish and chips tonight. I plan on only eating half a piece and half the fries. I will be mindful of what I eat on Sunday.

Amazing progress Linda! 👏 you must be over the moon!

    Thank you.

Sorry team, to add a pound! My goal this week is to use the food and exercise log daily to help me keep on track.

Never apologize. Great job making a plan.

    Last week’s numbers:

    Mon. 4/3 9,368
    Tue. 4/4 9,304
    Wed. 4/5. 3,235
    Thu. 4/6 2,105
    Fri. 4/7. 4,125
    Sat. 4/8. 3,688
    Sun. 4/9. 8,512

We were taking a little trip at the end of the week, so step production falls off. With our summer coming, we will be taking more trips like this one and we will see drops like this whenever we spend a lot of time in the car driving. What do people do, (1) take a break and stop reporting, or (2) just keep reporting whatever my Fitbit records, or (3) something else?

I need you advice, with the approach of warmer weather, we tend to travel a lot. Not big trip but often short weekend/extended weekend little drives ( although that was mainly because COVID has kept us close to home). My problem is, motels rarely have scales and I am not comfortable asking friends to get their scale out for me when visiting. What do people do in such a situation so as to not miss my reporting dates or providing questionable data?

We can move your weigh day. Maybe a Wednesday or Thursday if you think this would work better.

I was really very lazy last week. And, I started eating and drinking things I normally don’t. My calories have crept up…. I need to get back to basics this week and put forth more effort to my goals

I am right there with you. I guess it's better to stumble and keep going than to quit! Here's to a focused week
