Hi Linda!! Sorry I've been missing in action for the last week. I'm traveling during the month of May. I'll I was able to weigh in this morning and I posted my stats below. After today, my next weigh in will be Friday, June 2. So, I think our best course of action is to put me on hold? Anyway, I will mostly be checking in via my Wall. I of course will pop in here, when and where I can. Be well. Lee😊

Feeling quite blah this morning. Pizza Wed/Thu and Cinco De Mayo. Hope it’s just retention from the extra salt but still must re-focus this week!

I suspect you will shed that water weight pretty quickly.

    Steps: 3,741
    Log food: ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️
    Exercise: ✔️✔️

The pressure eased off in my back a bit yesterday afternoon and I decided to try a mini walk. I actually did 10 minutes without stopping. That’s double what I got on a good day. Was there pain, yes but it was bearable until about 9 minutes then I really had to push through it. Let’s hope it last. I didn’t give myself an exercise check because I didn’t get a total of 15 minutes of exercise. I am still very proud of myself.

Good Morning!! Hope everyone had a good week. Here is my weigh in :)

    Weigh In Day: Saturday (5/6/23)
    PW (Previous Weight): 178
    CW (Current Weight): 177.5

That is all. I started to take small steps these past 2 weeks back in to keto. Lowered carbs, but I am eating a lot of fat and struggling to get my protein in!! Anyone else remember starting keto and how did it go for you?

    Talk to everyone later!

I am interested in the walking challenge, does anyone want to be my partner? I average about 4-5,000 a day but willing to try harder!! I also think it will keep me accountable and it would be fun!

I will partner with you for the challenge. I usually walk in the same step range, but now that it's getting warmer outside I can get out to do daily walks. Feel free to message me if you'd like to do this together!

    Jessica

Hi Jessica - reporting in that I had no BINGOs for the challenge. I did eat healthy meals every day, and got multiple days for some of the other squares. I think those who did achieve a BINGO must have a lot more free time than I do.

I have had great success with keto ... my blood sugar numbers are down ... My a1c is down ....I am not weighing myself at this time due to having a cast on my foot and leg .... but I do have energy which is a plus ... I meal prep every Sunday ...it was hard when I did not know what I was doing ... but it is pretty easy now ... I am the queen of Keto cookbooks ( so I never get bored )

Absolutely! I've got us off to a good start with two hours of yard work that added up to over 7000 steps!

Now we need a team name...

    This weeks step count:

    Sun. 4/30. 9,427
    Mon. 5/01. 14,886
    Tue. 5/02. 8,478
    Wed 5/03. 8,376
    Thu. 5/04. 12,716
    Fri. 5/05. 12,600
    Sat. 5/06. 9,999

Lots of walking around this week. Unfortunately, this morning, my Fitbit literally fell apart. The watch face separated from the body and was dangling from the body by it’s connector. The watch only displays oxygen saturation now. I put it back together (using scotch tape). Not sure if it is counting steps so I had to switch over to using my phone to count steps for now.
