Checking out Yoga with Adriene this week. Second day, today. Just a 10-min video. She's great! One of the comments said "Adriene is like the Bob Ross of Yoga!" ... And I'm like .... Yea, she kinda is! *nods head* 🤣
PLUS, omg I learned how to cast the YouTubes to my TV earlier this week, when I was first checking her out. What a game changer that makes watching YouTubes!! I feel like this is going to open up a whole new avenue for me to explore. There's so many good exercise vids? I'm interested in Yoga, and Strength Training. For Beginners. 😉
YouTube and Roku were having some kind of tiff a few years back, the first time I tried to put youTubes on my TV. Wouldn't work - Roku disabled the YouTube for Roku app. I guess they worked out their issue - yay 😁

We made it home yesterday afternoon. Had a really good time relaxing and recharging. I am now ready to take on what lies ahead.

@mkksemail I love Yoga with Adriene! She has a chair yoga video that I use at work to take breaks and I just love it. She is like the Bob Ross of Yoga lol. There is a channel that isn't yoga but she may do some strength training (I think it may be mostly aerobics): Grow with Jo. She's a really positive person and I really like her videos.

Hi all. Well, I metaphorically fell on my face yesterday: it wasn't so much the food at the party, it was a combination of that and snacks later in the night.Today WILL be better!

@katmary71- Yes, I definitely want to eat sometimes after checking to see if I actually feel hungry. Sometimes 20 min makes the urge go away, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I grab some food before I check in with myself. I do feel if I can do this consistently it will help.
I've been thinking of you daily and praying for your back to feel better.

Yesterday Hubby and I celebrated 23 years of marriage. We went to Outback Steak House. I had green salad and the baked chicken, shrimp and pasta meal. I ate the salad, 2 pieces of the bread, one bite of the chicken, two shrimp, water, and maybe half a cup of the pasta. I enjoyed it all! My weight was 258 and my sugar was 129 this morning. The weight is the same as yesterday and the sugar is less.
Then when we got home, I cut my knee on the door of my husband's truck. Pain!!! I iced it and used Aquaphor on it. It didn't bleed a lot but is so very sore today. Lord have mercy! I hope this doesn't interfere with my water aerobics on Tuesday.

Met my 1,000 milestone (and then some) yesterday. Was a real busy day for me - 25,000 steps - my all time high. I got past my halfway mark to 2,023 today. 😁7

I'm in a dietbet that ends tomorrow and I'm now 0.2 under my goal weight. I'm just dreading the scale going up tomorrow... Becuase of course it will. What matters more, though, is that 160 has been a huge goal for me. I'm half way to my target weight - down 20lbs from my highest weight at the beginning of the year.

@mkksmail Haha I love that Bob Ross comparison, Adrienne kind of is! Yoga with Bird on YouTube is similar to her as well. I do chair cardio mixed with weights but for just weights HASFit and Sidney Cummings are both good just do searches for beginner’s. I like that HASFit does a lot of reps since I can’t do heavy weights.
@txcritter69 Today and tomorrow are the only things you can do anything about so great to focus on them and glad you’re recharged and relaxed!
@trooworld Was it post-party stress giving you the munchies? I always come home and want to eat more like since I was a little freer eating I want to have more fun, I’m fighting that right now. Just start logging again, you can do it! Yes Bill and I broke up a couple weeks ago, we still text a bit.
@megnolia82 I think that’s a great idea, I originally wanted to lose 100lbs and it seemed so impossible I kind of didn’t believe I could do it. A goal weight 7lbs away you can look at and point at your eyes and point at it because you’ll be seeing that number soon!
@Cornanda Thank you Lisa! I think it will help too to question if you’re really hungry, next is asking why you want to eat and being real with yourself and I find eating after that doesn’t always happen.

Hey team! My nephews’ party was small, it was just my parents and I and my SIL’s sister and BIL who are great people. Nice relaxed day but a cloud cover moved in, I’m hoping it doesn’t rain as I have a sign on the mailbox for the annual HOA meeting. Not feeling too hot but am home using my micro current machine. No workout today, wasn’t up for it and didn’t do anything outside either. Hopefully I’ll get some good sleep and wake up tomorrow feeling a little better.
- Did good with body mechanics, just having a hard time squatting with my back muscles so tight.

Good Morning All!
My knee feels better today though I'm still walking with a cane. My cousin put witch hazel on it and I think it's helping with the soreness. I didn't realize I had banged it so hard that it would effect my mobility. Still hopeful for better and better days.
It feels good to be aware of trying to make this journey one of successes rather than it dragging me along. Thank all of you for your kind words and inspiration. This is an awesome group and I am thankful that I am a part of it!
No Zero Days - I ate more vegetables yesterday!

Hi team! Got a lot of sleep and have been home aside of getting my prescriptions earlier. Got in some good time cleaning up the front yard and need to water then bath and bed to read. Ate good, I went a little low to help with yesterday’s treats. Have an awesome Tuesday!

Had a good 7 hour sleep.
Eating was excellent yesterday.
For the first time in months or maybe years, I woke up without the full feeling in my stomach. I know this week will be great. I just hope I can develop habits that get me through months and not just day 1.

This is a busy week here, YARD SALE this Thurs - Sat. Will be spending the next 2 days setting up. This will be my last yard sale. There is just to much work getting it ready. My hubby is going to blow his mind when he sees the stuff I am getting rid of. I am just tired of looking at this stuff. I am ready for an update.
As for the weight loss I have lost the weight gained from vacation. The sodium in food from restaurants is just so crazy. I will be doing a lot of home cooking this month. Next week will be my start point for a few adjustments in my normal daily routines. I am working on changing up my bedtime so I can up earlier to walk in the mornings. We have hit the 100 for temp already. Going to add strength training 2x a week.

I’m really struggling lately. I have zero motivation. All I want to do is sleep ( my coping skill) and I can’t even do that. When I have to make the smallest decision, like what’s for dinner, it paralyzing. It’s so stupid, I know, but that’s how my depression works. I have chicken and spaghetti squash, anyone have a recipe or suggestion how I turn this into a decent dinner? I’m going to put on a bra, lol, and walk to my mailbox (8 min walk). Hope it helps. Someone please hold me accountable8
