@mkksmail Haha I love that Bob Ross comparison, Adrienne kind of is! Yoga with Bird on YouTube is similar to her as well. I do chair cardio mixed with weights but for just weights HASFit and Sidney Cummings are both good just do searches for beginner’s. I like that HASFit does a lot of reps since I can’t do heavy weights.
@txcritter69 Today and tomorrow are the only things you can do anything about so great to focus on them and glad you’re recharged and relaxed!
@trooworld Was it post-party stress giving you the munchies? I always come home and want to eat more like since I was a little freer eating I want to have more fun, I’m fighting that right now. Just start logging again, you can do it! Yes Bill and I broke up a couple weeks ago, we still text a bit.
@megnolia82 I think that’s a great idea, I originally wanted to lose 100lbs and it seemed so impossible I kind of didn’t believe I could do it. A goal weight 7lbs away you can look at and point at your eyes and point at it because you’ll be seeing that number soon!
@Cornanda Thank you Lisa! I think it will help too to question if you’re really hungry, next is asking why you want to eat and being real with yourself and I find eating after that doesn’t always happen.

Hey team! My nephews’ party was small, it was just my parents and I and my SIL’s sister and BIL who are great people. Nice relaxed day but a cloud cover moved in, I’m hoping it doesn’t rain as I have a sign on the mailbox for the annual HOA meeting. Not feeling too hot but am home using my micro current machine. No workout today, wasn’t up for it and didn’t do anything outside either. Hopefully I’ll get some good sleep and wake up tomorrow feeling a little better.

Good Morning All!
My knee feels better today though I'm still walking with a cane. My cousin put witch hazel on it and I think it's helping with the soreness. I didn't realize I had banged it so hard that it would effect my mobility. Still hopeful for better and better days.
It feels good to be aware of trying to make this journey one of successes rather than it dragging me along. Thank all of you for your kind words and inspiration. This is an awesome group and I am thankful that I am a part of it!

Hi team! Got a lot of sleep and have been home aside of getting my prescriptions earlier. Got in some good time cleaning up the front yard and need to water then bath and bed to read. Ate good, I went a little low to help with yesterday’s treats. Have an awesome Tuesday!

Had a good 7 hour sleep.
Eating was excellent yesterday.
For the first time in months or maybe years, I woke up without the full feeling in my stomach. I know this week will be great. I just hope I can develop habits that get me through months and not just day 1.

@AmbersWay Oh good, I'm glad you are getting better. I'm okay, plugging along lol. The pups are still fighting but we are working on it. Daisy had to go to the vet yesterday, she has a respiratory infection. Thanks for asking.

Hi all. I had a professional development day at work yesterday. It was okay but they did NOT feed us healthily: it was Costco food all day...muffins and fruit in the morning, pizza at lunch. Today should be better, all homemade foods pretracked.

This is a busy week here, YARD SALE this Thurs - Sat. Will be spending the next 2 days setting up. This will be my last yard sale. There is just to much work getting it ready. My hubby is going to blow his mind when he sees the stuff I am getting rid of. I am just tired of looking at this stuff. I am ready for an update.
As for the weight loss I have lost the weight gained from vacation. The sodium in food from restaurants is just so crazy. I will be doing a lot of home cooking this month. Next week will be my start point for a few adjustments in my normal daily routines. I am working on changing up my bedtime so I can up earlier to walk in the mornings. We have hit the 100 for temp already. Going to add strength training 2x a week.

I’m really struggling lately. I have zero motivation. All I want to do is sleep ( my coping skill) and I can’t even do that. When I have to make the smallest decision, like what’s for dinner, it paralyzing. It’s so stupid, I know, but that’s how my depression works. I have chicken and spaghetti squash, anyone have a recipe or suggestion how I turn this into a decent dinner? I’m going to put on a bra, lol, and walk to my mailbox (8 min walk). Hope it helps. Someone please hold me accountable8

Hello my SlimPeeps! Just now getting around to my intro because my first grandson was just born 5 days ago to my youngest daughter, Hunter, and her hubby Michael. May I introduce Byron Henry. He was 8# and 21”.
This is my first granddaughter (born to my son, Marcus and his wife Ashley) that was born just 7 weeks before Byron is Miss Sophie Ellen. She’s getting so big!
And my middle daughter, Sydney, just announced she’s 6 weeks pregnant! So all 3 of my children will have had a child within one year of each other! Super fun Grammy time for sure!
As a single empty nester, I am enjoying my quiet time with my sweet American Blue rabbit (her name is Kismet). I love to rubber stamp (I’m a Stampin’ Up demo) and make cards. I'm an active member of my church (Board member), and also love horror movies. I have worked in Community Development at my County for over 18 years. I am trying to get back on track with unprocessed, whole foods. When I ate “clean” like that a few years ago, I was able to lose about 40 pounds. Yes. Gained it all back plus 5. I’m working with a therapist on my BED. He’s the best. P.S. Vegan faux meats are the Debil (IYKYK).

*reaching thru to take your hand* Good job, Jill! Keep making that walk with each day, even if it doesn't feel like it, it will do you a world of good 💕. Plus, it's an easy, definable, goal to accomplish each day, too! I bet by the end of summer, of you do it daily, it will feel like a pleasant interlude instead of a difficult workout. 👟👟👏😎❤️🩹
What did you fix for lunch?
On that spaghetti squash and chicken, if it's rainy and chilly by you, put them on a roasting pan, drizzle some olive oil on them, some garlic salt and black pepper, or lemon pepper and rosemary, maybe, and roast them for a yummy dinner.
If it's warmer out, just sautee them.
Depending on how much you have of each, you could plate 4+ servings, and have the rest of the week"s dinners all made for you.

Thank you all for the shoutouts. I’m doing great in all areas expect finding time to update and stay connected to everyone personally. I’m really loving where my life is going right now and i’m so excited for the many great possible directions it could lead. I’m bouncing around major life plans daily and trying to settle on what I want to happen next. Until I decide I’m just gonna keep taking off and getting lost in some woods!!!!

So far so good. I won First Place in the Spring Garden contest; I was in the top 07 out of 120. I've not been doing will with the July challenge. I get out only half the days, but that's better than not going outside at all. I got my hearing aids adjusted, but they need adjusted again, if something gets close to them, I get loud feedback in my ears. I cannot wear my headphones. I've been making really poor food choices; I just don't feel very happy at the moment so it's hard to come here and chat. I bought a new silver bracelet with dog bones and cat paw's maybe that will cheer me up a bit.

@DJill68 An easy thing to do would be just putting pasta sauce or salsa on chicken and spaghetti squash, I’ve roasted the spaghetti squash and made boats out of it so doing something like chicken taco meat over it would be good. Hey the bra and walk is really hard to do when depressed, last time I went through a bad period my goal was brushing my teeth and making my bed when I got up even if I got back in bed an hour later. I’m glad you made it there, woot woot! Mine is only the distance of a few houses but it’s still something I have to put a bra on because of course if I didn’t someone would be outside wanting to talk.
@vegan4lyfe2012 Byron and Sophie look a lot alike, such precious babies! He looks like an inventor or sci fi writer but maybe I’m thinking that from the dinos and cool hair! Wow and one more on the way, that’s so exciting! Congratulations, enjoy every minute!

Hi team! Spent the day at home mostly resting, my neighbor gave me a bunch of old pots and I brought them home in a wheelbarrow and got some things potted up. Did my PT stretches and some core stuff and am headed out to water then a bath and in bed to read the latest James Patterson Murder Club book. Have a great Wednesday!

Happy evening, losers! Today we had a surprise at school. I had a class in the library and suddenly a young starling flew into the room through a hole that a roof drain comes through! The kids (grade 2) were excellent and more fascinated than anything else. We shut the lights and doors and closed all the blinds except a couple where we opened up the windows. It did fly out on its own after some sightseeing. Luckily it stayed up near the ceiling. What a story to take home tonight! Hahaha
I had another dynamite day for eating. I know I thrive on momentum. A good day breeds more good days. A bad day sends me on a downward path. I have to keep building on these excellent days.
Goal: bed by 10:30 tonight so I get 7.5 hours. I’ll let you know if I make it!

I'm going to try a longer fast tomorrow/Thursday.... the longest I've done is ~24 hours.... I'm shooting for ~36 hours. I'm hoping that will Kickstart things for me.

Wow, good for you on the 36 hour fast. I don’t think I could do it. I did the 30 hour famine in high school and that was enough for me.

My experience with longer fasts is the clarity I feel after 36 hours, and how great it is for reducing inflammation. I have a condition that I was told could only be controlled with steroids, but I'm able to control it with fasting and no drugs at all. Do you cut out caffeine during your fast? I've done fasting both with and without caffeine. Caffeine during a fast will make you feel supercharged! But without caffeine the fast will do a better job of reducing inflammation.3
