            Friday Weigh-In
 PW: 216
CW: 217.1 ~i'm turning this around. I actually was 217.6 on Thursday so I'm coming back down.
I put together a meal plan and started following it the last few days. I had just gotten so off track, not necessarily poor eating but over my limit. My exercise has been steady but I think I need to ramp it up a bit. Things are coming back together and I feel less sad and less stressed.
 Step Challenge - Goal 8,500
 8/27 - 17,232
 8/28 - 3,961
 8/29 - 9,080
 8/30 - 8,398 so close so close
 8/31 - 9,193
 9/1
 9/2
@Slimmersixties ~ I would join your mini challenge
@Nachdeezy ~ Slow crawl is good. You are getting there! Keep up the good work!
@alexhomeandcoffee ~ Welcome to the group.
 Have a fantastic weekend everyone!!

 Weigh-in Day: Friday (Sep 1, 2023)
 PW: 238.8
 CW: 241.4
Very unusual week. I gained 3.6 lbs in a single day earlier in the week and I don't recall anything I did as out of the ordinary (other than some awful sleep patterns) but it put me back into the 240's so I'll just have to keep pushing ahead. Needless to say, I took my usual walk at 5:30 am for 40 min before breakfast, shower and work. Monday is a holiday so maybe we'll change it up with Susan and go on a bike ride and stop at one of the wineries for lunch - and a glass (or two).1

It went fine at the seniors' centre yesterday where my dad had to take some tests to be able to renew his driver's licence. It was way more Mickey Mouse than I thought it was going to be. The most difficult part was finding the building. Dad drives on memory and landmarks, not addresses! My husband had spaghetti for dinner last night and after the sauce was gone, there was still noodles. Normally I would have put some parm on those bad boys and gone to town, but I didn't! Eating a plate of pasta like that would have caused me to want to eat other carby foods, and plenty of them!1

Happy September Downsizers! It will be another busy month and I probably should step away from the team but after my last hiatus and still not being able to get back to June weight I know I need to continue just to help limit the gain. So thankful to have 3 days off. Staying local and grilling this weekend. Will be making a few healthier sides which is a NSV in itself. Hope you all have a fab weekend!

It’s funny. I gained weight this week and I had difficulty with sleep three nights. I know for myself sleep and weight loss are very much tied together.0

Will catch up when I get back from grocery shopping. There is not enough coffee in the world to give me energy today.3

Wow, same here! I was wondering if it could be the sleep. I don't know why the last 3 or 4 nights have been so poor. Thanks for confirming my hunch.0

@NouveauRee I'm glad you are staying this month. We need accountability not for when things are easy, but for when they are not.0

I have the same issue with pasta. Bread does the same thing. When I go to Newfoundland every year I eat way too much homemade bread. It takes me weeks after I get back to stop craving the carbs.Weigh in

I have gone on support before and it ended up with gaining weight. I do find that even when I am struggling by staying on the team and weighing in weekly it has prevented me from gaining all the weight I have lost back. We are here for you.Learningmoments wrote: »lindamtuck2018 wrote: »JimBoden3

I try to keep my routine the same every night otherwise my sleep is off. I have been taking care of my granddaughter a lot this summer. Staying up later with her messes me up for days.aneedlecraft wrote: »aneedlecraft

PW: 143.4 pounds (down 1 pound)
CW: 142.3 pounds (down 1.1 pounds)
This is the 4th week in a row that I've lost weight so that is encouraging!
I need to get back down to 142.2 pounds which is what I was 3 months ago.
I only need to lose 0.1 pounds to get back to where I was in May so I need to make sure I don't gain next week after having so many weeks of losses.
I still need to lose 12.3 pounds to arrive at my goal weight of 130.0 pounds.
I'm inching my way down there bit by bit.
I'm down 27.7 pounds from my highest weight of 170 pounds in 2016.
I am proud of myself for what I have accomplished so far.
I need to stay the course to finish strong!
