I was reflecting on the year, and Love Me More by Sam Smith was playing on my playlist.
This song used to be a sad one for me. I'd use it to allow my self to feel my sadness and also as a tool of inspiration. Yesterday when I heard the song there was no sadness, only joy.

Here is a link to the song for those that are interested.

Went off the ban chocolate bandwagon. Didn’t keep to it Monday and yesterday.

    Time to try again.
Today will be a chocolate free day.
    Had 2 under my belt.

Still have 95 possible days more with no chocolate.

    I will try….

I am going to join the "dance to one song" bandwagon as well. I'm also going to tell myself one positive thing about me every morning as well. I am 2 days behind so I will tell myself 3 positive things about myself and dance to 3 songs tomorrow as well.

Yay! Looks like the dance party is growing. Woohoo! We are back from a beach vacation. It was wonderful. Dancing is going well. Hope everyone is doing well.

I just had my last snack (fingers crossed) of the evening and if all goes well today is 4 days of no eating at least 1 hour before bed. so far I've been keeping to 8pm. want to get a couple weeks of this under my belt before shifting to maybe 730pm.

I'm doing 100 days of no excuses!
If i fail in doing my steps or keeping to my calories then I'm going to own it and stop blaming external factors .... like the weather, or having visitors, or feeling ill or any of the other excuses i find!

Tenacity! It does the job. There are days when you just don't, though - no blame, no fail, just fact. Pick up and go on. WTG!

I do great with cardio and seldom miss a day but strength training, not so much. I would really like to get back into the habit of lifting weights 2-3x per week, every week. Not just sporadically like I have been for the past few months.

    Happy Saturday y'all!

I've walked every day this week and mostly mornings before work, with the exception of one day. Have hit my walking goal and daily step goal EVERY day and just finished my Intentional walking goal for the month of Sept, which was 56 miles...I hit 60.5 today! YAY MEeeee!!

I'm loving all of the different ways you're all closing out 2023 with such grace, energy, dedication and positivity! How could we be anything but inspired in this group!!!

So, have you started thinking ahead to any specific goals for October or for 2024 yet? What's on your mind?!! Any special milestones you're looking forward to coming up soon?! Share away! Enjoy your Sunday!

@ganival Thanks for your kind words!! I'm going to do 60 miles of intentional walking for October...keep up my 10k steps for my daily step goal and work a little harder on veggie intake in the nutrition lane. In 2024, I want to see my numbers improve...

    What goals are you setting?

I needed my 10k so I danced, bounced on rebounder, danced, jog in place, dance, then danced some more. Got it done. Lol.
@Slimmersixties I love your no more excuses. I am bad about saying weather, company, no time, etc. Thank you for pointing out that it is all excuses.
@GinLee61 I know what you mean about strength training. I need to get back to that. I used to do more strength training and struggle with cardio. Now it has flipped.
@itladyee I love your chart. How do you do the spoiler section?

I haven't done so well this week. It seems that I just need one little obstacle and I slide back down the slope. I'm not giving up, I just need to start from the foot of the slope again.

Out of these 8 days of the 100 Day Challenge I’ve been chocolate free for 5 of them, and one of the days was just two tiny pieces.
Overall, this is a win for me so far. It’s a gradual withdrawal, but I definitely feel I’m getting better at removing chocolate from my life.
