I've tried to figure out how to reply to a post and get the post in where I reply to, but failed 😆 I'm mostly using the App.. Please enlighten me 🙏
I had a great week, eating wise. Keto gives me so much satisfaction.. I really love the things I eat, which when I'm on a regular 'diet', couldn't eat without a real dislike.. Like broccoli or Brussels sprouts, with keto they go down like it was candy 😆
The real struggle is being active and getting my daily 6000 steps in.. I have fibromyalgia and besides being very stiff and in pain I also have multiple days in a week where I'm so tired I really can't get anything done.. Going outside and walk than feels like going to do a marathon.. The more I push, the more my body & mind resists, so I'm trying to do as much as possible, and that might be, on some days, not much..
I use the app also. Click on the quote in the bottom left hand side of the post. Then make your reply underneath. Give it a try.
I don’t have fibromyalgia but I can relate to pain. With both osteo and rheumatoid arthritis I get pain. I have nerve pain which I believe is what fibromyalgia causes. You just got to take the good days and rest on the bad. I know weight loss has helped me immensely. Of course, the medication is also helpful so I can’t say how much is from weight loss and how much is from the new medication. Bottom line do what you can. On the days that the bone weary fatigue (my description) hits don’t fight it. Rest and go do your marathon on the days you feel good.
Aaaaaaah 😆 it's that simple! Thank you @lindamtuck20181 -

Should I reference you in the post instead of Megan?

Good morning, @lindamtuck2018. Up a little earlier today as we got cheated out of an hours sleep last night thanks to daylight savings time! Just finished resetting all of our clocks so I figured I could give you my update now.

Good week this week. Tracking my meals is still my best tool in my weight loss arsenal. My cardiologist challenged me to get my daily intake of calories down to 1500-1600/day (and, of course, the usual “NO SALT, NO SUGAR”). Well I love a challenge so I accepted. Now I am down to 1900 calories/day (down from 2250) and significantly reduced both salt and sugar! I can’t say it will work for everyone but it seems to work for me.
Anyway, everyone have a great week! Looking forward to hearing everyone else’s success stories!

Very nice loss! Tracking is so important. Sugar I overall do ok with but I love salty things so I really have to be careful.0 -

Good afternoon! We took our 11 year old granddaughter to McDonald’s. I only ate half my burger and a couple of fries. I did get a snack size McFlurry but only had a few tastes before giving it to my husband. We have two more restaurant meals to get through this week. Wish me luck as one is a buffet.
Happy Sunday all!
