I also weigh myself every morning, but use my weight on Fridays for my weight in here, because that's typically my average or so for the week anyway. My weight fluctuates so dramatically, you folks have no idea. I've seen bloats of 8+ lbs this year, gone in a matter of days. Paying attention to the long term average is the only way to really know what's going on with my body.

Been working non-stop for the past 2 weeks. Hoping things at work slowdown as we get into kids sports seasons. Glad it's only 1 lb. Back to healthy habits!

Have managed to work out everyday and keep most of my eating in check lol. Still having to work out my afternoon snack situation cuz I find I’m hungry when I get home, even though I’ve eaten throughout the day at work.

Otherwise I think it’s water weight I’m working off from the last couple weeks I had fallen off the wagon 😂 but whatever it is, is motivating me to keep pushing. I want to hit onderland so bad. I usually quit on myself just before I get there, but this time I’m really holding on!

@andja87 you’re doing amazingly well!! Even if it’s water weight, it’s weight and it’s gone! You will get to onederland! It takes time, but keep training for the 5K and aim for eating the best you can. You’ll get there! 👏🏻👏🏻

I just noticed my last post said it was March and the third week. YIKES! I need to pay more attention when I copy/paste for formatting! Our bolded members set a step goal for the week and met it! As always, if you want to... be bold (heehee), let us know how many steps you want to hit every day on average and we'll keep track of it for you!

With our 1.75 million goal, we're more than halfway done with two weeks to go. Well done walkers! Let's keep the steps going!

I have been eating a little healthier. I have added fruits and veggies in and sometimes I don’t get a chance to eat during the day. My husband said think of it as intermit fasting. I’m trying to plan my next vacation seeing my Jamaica trip was canceled. Hopefully I will have some weight gone by then. I do have an appointment with my dr on tues about my weight.

    Weigh in Day: Saturday

    PW: 191.8
    CW: 191.2

Haven’t been making an effort to lose lately because I was training for my 10K race, which was today. I found it hard to restrict calories and get my training runs in at the same time. I was often too weak and tired when I did both.

Race is done and tomorrow it’s back to working on my weight loss again. Will still be walking/jogging, but not more than 3 miles at once for a while until I can drop more weight.

    Race info in spoiler:
It went fine. I wasn’t as fast as I was hoping for, but I did finish. My body doesn’t do well with heat and humidity. It was about 60 F and cloudy at first but the humidity was 91% which is too high for my body to tolerate well. Was cloudy at first but by about mile 4 the sun had burned through the clouds and it became hot.

I did enjoy it otherwise. My pace was slow, brisk walked it mostly, but managed 15:36 minutes per mile average.

There were 18,399 finishers. I’m 64 years old and in my age group I was 237 out of 614 women, so that put me in the top 40%, which I’m fine with. I haven’t done a 10K race in nine years, so I’m happy enough with my results. Being overweight does definitely make it difficult to go fast. Motivation to work more in my weight loss.
