    @CasandraW That sounds really annoying. Is it common for ultrasounds to be unreliable? And great she wants to do another, but can't she put a rush on it then? 3 months is such a long time. I would be pretty unhappy about that.

    Good morning Shape Shifters. Another day, another walk. Had a shower when I got home and then went right back outside to the two different grocery stores. It was a very warm day again, but I managed a little better. I also had my fan on a lot which was nice, especially during my gym rings workout. In the afternoon I decided to quickly hop by the vet to ask about Tinus' neck. I took a picture of it to show the assistent and asked what more I could do. She said the vet wrap was fine and safe to keep on for longer periods of time and the honey cream I have is also great. On Monday we already have an appointment because he needs a new painkiller shot. If the area hasn't improved a lot by Friday, I will call them and switch that appointment to be with a vet instead of an assistant so they can take a look. Hopefully it will be fine though. I know Tinus is allergic for a lot, but I haven't changed any of his food or treats, so not sure why that area is so irritated.
    There was some thunder in the evening, so I worked on the puzzle a bit more. It isn't an easy one, but it is very fun. My dad is coming over this morning and we will get some much needed shopping done in the bigger town. Happy Wednesday everyone <3

    It is really annoying. When this all started and I got the original ultrasound results I was really upset about the wait. I went through all the feelings. I was mad, scared, sad and finally at peace with it. I’ve gone through all the scenarios in my head so many times.
    If there is an emergency they will rush it otherwise you just have to wait your turn. Our health care here is pretty broken and slow right now.

    ~ Got a couple of those “did you lose weight???” exclamations when I went to my strength training class on Monday. I was wearing the right outfit or I hit that threshold where people start to notice. Either way, it felt nice to have my efforts be acknowledged. #feelingencouraged

    @Pupowl you're on a roll girl👏
    @Krysless2 enjoy the compliments,well done
    @CasandraW waiting for results is very annoying,especially if you need treatment & maybe it has been delayed.
    Our health service is on its needs too,it's so hard to get an appointment to see a Doctor.Im awaiting a referral for physio at the moment.

    Please excuse me for the next two Wednesday weigh-ins. I will be away on vacation and without a scale and mostly without internet. I weighed-in today already, so next week and the week after is what I need.

    Sorry I haven't been posting much. I am hoping to be able to participate more on here in June. Life has been absolutely crazy busy and a bit overwhelming. My dad is staying at my house with our two dogs while we're gone, so at least I don't have to worry about my pups.

    The daily card:
    For many people, mindfulness can seem like more work-another chore, like exercise or brushing our teeth, which we grudingly do because we know it's good for us. But the magic happens when we approach mindfulness with creativity, playfulness, and delight. Try spending 20 minutes a day engaging in playfulness-whether it's writing a funny poem for a friend, dressing up in a silly outfit, or goofing around with friends in the park. The playful mind is an open mind, and cultivating playful experiences will lead to a more joyful experience of life.

    @Krysless2 Those comments are the best mood booster! And motivator! I'll bet you worked twice as hard after that!

    Tomorrow begins my first challenge of the next 6 weeks, I'm driving 9 hours to visit family for the long weekend. Driving tomorrow and Sunday, and no doubt eating poorly the entire 4 days. I do my best to plan ahead for car food and eating at the AirBnB but somehow fall apart when eating at the family get togethers. :/

    After this I have a couple of weeks to get myself together before a long stretch of travel. In mid-June I'm going to Seattle to visit my son, the following week I'll be in FL on work travel, and the going on vacation with my daughter and her family the week of July 4th. That'll be 3 straight weeks of eating poorly and reduced exercise due to no access to my Peloton or bicycle. :o No good can come from that!

    Have a great day everyone!

    Week’s Notes:
    ~ Survived my brother’s grad-night dinner and I’m sure the sodium count caused the bump up. I stayed away from alcohol and still had a nice time.
I did count all the time spent walking all over the parking lot and the fair grounds stadium stairs as a total of 30 minutes of exercise + plus the 30 mins of ACTUAL exercise in the morning.

    Wednesday ✔️in:
    ~ Post-TMI(code for potty😏)was 164.6- it was so cool seeing that 4 proceeding the 1-6(I haven’t seen those numbers together in 1.5 years!) hopefully I can keep it under there for our final weigh-in next week!! 🤞🤞

    This sounds like the perfect time to challenge you in a step battle! Lol maybe I’ll finally win one !!☺️
    You are always so prepared I’m sure you can muster up a plan for those gatherings. But if not what I’ve been doing in those situations lately is filling up a big 48 oz tumbler with water and keep it near me always. Also I bring something that tastes good, can easily count cals/carbs and can eat without guilt. For keto people it’s easier to do because no one questions you bringing fatty meats(ex. Spicy buffalo wings) to a party.

    In all honesty, if I were getting hit with back-to-back plans/vacations like you, I wouldn’t know how to follow my own advice. I literally put MFP down and forget all about it and sometimes won’t come back for months and months. Yes, my hiatus always starts with a vacation and no I have not figured a way to stop doing that (btw.. any advice on that would be very well received!!). But I’ve known you for so long now. You’re saving grace is you always come back and never leave fully. Perseverance should be your middle name and I’ve always admired how strong you are! I have no doubt you’re gonna do great no matter what the challenge is!
