@Dianedoessmiles1 I love your paint pour project. My DYI isn't a fun project it's A must do. I am re-glazing the bathroom sink. I usually don't take pictures but I will start and show you how I do. It's my first time but it can't look any worse than it does. P!us who sees it just me and the hubby.

@Patti241, Loved reading Patti you like to get outside often!! Tomorrow they are saying we'll be up to 74! YO!! Our average this time of year is 58. You know I am looking forward to wintah!
@Sweetpeasmom55, oh that sounds interesting!! It'll feel wonderful to have it done. You may even inspire others to do the same! Often others read the chat though they may not respond. How did the day go? I went to the congregation I attend today (sometimes I need to use Zoom) after a bunch of us go out to eat. It gives us a chance to giggle quite hard. Came home and immediately got into comfy clothes, laid down, and slept for 3 1/2 hours. Went to sleep with Izzy Kitty, and woke up to Oscar. They are so funny.

@Dianedoessmiles1 Everything is incredibly stinky. I'm wearing a mask but it's really bad. I'm making progress but would I do it again no. I probably have 4 more coats . I went in to sand and of course one Sweet Pea was right there looking in the sink. I also got the bathroom window open first time in 20 years. No choice had to get it open or pass out from the fumes. The window is a thorn in my side. Hubby did a crappy job of sanding and sealing the wood work. It's been25 years and I probably can redo it now but he is sometimes worse than Sweet Pea. I can't pick him up and lock him in a room till I'm done even though I would love too.

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Monday and I am feeling so much better today. Friday was rough for me as my Fibro flared up. So I took half a day off work because I won't allow myself to not even try when it comes to work. I will give it a good honest go before I actually say nope I cannot do this today. Then I spend the next day and a half sleeping due to the exhaustion the Fibro causes in my body. I don't understand how my fibro can be getting worse. It just does not seem right, but it is getting worse. Last month I only needed half a day and this month I have taken a whole day. Weird..

@SweetPeasMom55 - Thank you. At 26 I found an OB-GYN who would tie my tubes, but I pretty much had to tell him that I would sue him if I ever got pregnant again just to get my point across that I did not want anymore children. I had 2 and that was enough for me. Fast forward to 2022 and now I kinda wish I had waited since Joe and I reconnected, but he also has a vasectomy so he really did not want anymore children after his 2. So I guess we are good. We don't need more children since ours are grown and out of the house. That is good that you are helping your coworkers eat well.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - I agree it is probably hard on Joe. Joe is great on action things. So I do get that. I will definitely talk to my doctor about my options. I am not even sure if my OB-GYN will recommend surgery at this point. She may just want to continue monitoring.
@Kurtize - I hope your weather is better.
@baodell17724 - I think they are teaching you to also eat right. I see a bariatric doctor who helps me with calories and macros and all that stuff. She also will prescribe the weight loss medications if we chose to take them, but she will only do so once you have been doing the weight loss plan for several months and not seeing any benefits of it.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Monday,

    Tabatha

I got up early and put another coat on the sink. Hoping I don't stink like paint as I'm off to work. The fumes are so bad😷. Have a great day everyone!!

I am not a snake person. I have a co-worker who owns 15 large snakes. These are huge I told her they are sizing her up to eat. She just laughs . I'm positive if there was a blizzard and I happened to stop at her house I would fight my way to the neighbors house. There's no way I could go into her house. She has showed us too many pictures.

@Sweetpeasmom55, OH YO!! On the fumes!! UGH and the window. LOLOL I DID LAUGH TO HARD at not being able to lock H in a room like you can the cat!! I could picture that!! Please be careful around the fumes. Oh my GD Has MANY reptiles I'm going to be going up for an overnighter because my oldest GGS really wants me to stay overnight.
@Patti241 Today I went to Bug Light where we ate lunch, and watched the boats out in the harbor. I lost my elastic, the wind was very strong so I got creative and used my lancet for my keys to hold my hair back!

@Tabatha_Cain fibro goes around in flares. It'll rear its ugly head up, calm down, and come around again. As you learn to stretch more and get acupuncture when you start to feel tired more than normal or know the signs, you'll be able to deal with it better.

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Tuesday and it is going to be a great day. I am pretty tired today and my vertigo is acting up again. I am really hoping that I don't have to call off work today. I would really hate to have a rough go of things tomorrow when it is my birthday. I wonder what Joe has planned. Right now I don't think he has anything planned.

@SweetPeasMom55 - I hope you did well getting the paint off you so you could get to work. Yeah I cannot do big snakes either. I am not a snake person.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - I hope it happens soon. I definitely need to know how to slow down and realize I am doing too much. It honestly stinks because in the moment I don't feel like I am doing too much. Then it hits me out of nowhere.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday.

@Tabatha_Cain it’s hard realising that blah years ago you could run a marathon, then climb a mountain before you stopped for lunch and now sometimes lunchtime is here before you think about getting out of bed.
You get used to it, honest. Set yourself a goal for the day and take off the last job before you start out.
Now start the job and have regular breaks and when the body starts objecting STOP 15rydz1mp3p2.jpeg
Like I did yesterday. There’s about 1/6th still to do. And never before would I have left it like that. But no I’m not a teenager anymore

@Tabatha_Cain do you keep a pain journal? In our area, they offer a pain clinic on how to live with chronic pain. I am not sure if you have such. It helped me so much with housework etc. I learned a balance and to check in with my body and where is it at. On a good day to NOT overdo it.
@nansbones7708 , its amazing you can do that!! The earth looks rich in nutrients. Is it?
@Patti241 THANKS!! Hehehehe I thought it was!! And it even WORKED!! LOL!!

Today is a slower day, but tomorrow I FINALLY see the heart specialist!! Oh, I HOPE He listens and works on this for me! or with me!!

Well up and out the door to be at the pool by 6:20. Today I have off to run my parents to some Dr appointments. What I figured I need to be at the pool at 6 and out by 7. To make it to work on time. I got this I can make this work.

Sink project is coming along very well. It's probably on coat number 18. It's not an easy job in between coats is sanding. I'm very pleased with it and the cost is 25. If it had been a larger sink it definitely would be more cans and I wouldn't dream of doing a tub. If the pictures show up this is before I started. Taking out everything and the picture with blue tape is after the heavy duty cleaners and sanding. Once it's completed I will take the last picture.

Time for me to get over to my parents. Have a great day everyone!!

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Wednesday and it is going to be a boring day I can tell. It is supposed to be my birthday, but it seems that is being ignored today by my husband. I got nothing from him this morning about it being my birthday. Just him talking about his stuff again. I love him but he does take after his mom and like to talk about himself a lot.

@nansbones7708 - It is rough. I ran 2 5k's and now I can barely make it through a workday without feeling drained. It honestly stinks.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - It isn't so much the pain. That is all the time and constant, but the other issues associated with Fibro. Like the fatigue. The sheer exhaustion that happens all of a sudden after just a couple of hours at work. Then I have to push through because I only have 4 days of time off I can take. I feel like I will fall asleep at any minute most of the time. Even after sleeping several hours.
@SweetPeasMom55 - I hope you are able to get the photo posted. I would love to see it. I hope you got everything done.

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.

@SweetPeasMom55, Did you get to the pool and the appointments on time? WOW!! I love to see your before and after pics!!! If you downloaded the pictures to your device, the little picture up above (I can't do it on my phone, I can do it on my computer and tablet though) looks like a sun and mountain click on that, please. Find the picture you want (you can only do 1 at a time, but can put the others underneath we can put as many pics into a post as we wish), and TADA!

I hope you are all doing well this morning. I have to say yesterday was one of the worst birthdays I have had. Joe honestly forgot it was my birthday and did not realize it until my Son posted in our group chat and then he messaged me. That is how my day went yesterday, and he did not apologize for forgetting.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - As you can see above I doubt there is anything planned for this weekend. Joe isn't a planner.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.

    NATIONAL FOOD DAY
National Food Day focuses on healthy and nutritious food and takes place annually on October 24th.
    #NationalFood Day
One of the themes of the day aims to help people to “Eat Real.” This theme is defined as "cutting back on sugar drinks, overly salted packaged foods and fatty, factory-farmed meats in favor of vegetables, fruits, whole grains and sustainably raised protein." The observance involves some of the country’s most prominent food activists, too. Their vision includes food that can be healthy, affordable, and sustainably produced. At the same time, the goal is to produce food with care for the environment, farm animals, and the people who grow, harvest, and serve it in mind.
The movement seeks a balance between nutrition, affordability and the environment. They strive to meet these goals by consistently addressing policy. In 2012, there were 3,200 events taking place from community festivals to a national conference in Washington, D.C. to thousands of school activities.

Well I keep trying to download pictures. Oy I am going to ask the girls at work. I am incredibly proud I have shown the pictures to everyone who will look.

Next week is fruits.😫 I am one of those people who doesn't like fruit. Love veggies not a fruit person. This is going to be hard.

I love morning pool!! I get there at 6 am swim till 7. Get to work by 7:15. Work isn't fond of swimming sue as I come to work all hyped up and they're barely getting to work on time. Hubby isn't fond of me leaving the house so early but whatever.

@Tabatha_Cain I have been with my husband 30 years. He still can't remember my birthday. The last gift I got from him was when we were dating. Yes I always remembered his. Now fair is fair and last year I ignored his. Our birthdays are a month apart. I got Its my b'day don't I get cake or something? I ignored him next day his sister brought him a cake. I also realized at this point my b'day had been ignored more than celebrated. Now I celebrate me. I will see if he remembers and decide if I ignore him again.

@Tabatha_Cain, Oh hon!! I am so sorry!!! WOW!! That's not a warm feeling. Hopefully when you can handle doing so to be calm enough (LOL I have a temper and need to calm down ahead of time, Oh I KNOW ME!! It takes a LOT to upset me, but still) to let him know how it felt to you.
@Patti241, I thought of you today when I stood outside enjoying the wind and sun. So strange how I have to force myself to go outside just to enjoy it. Hopefully I'll start to feel better now that the heart specialist is onboard.
@SweetPeasMom55 Below is how to post to a feed/thread.

We'd LOVE to see the pictures!
I also am NOT a fruit, but also NOT a veggie person. Hehehehe!!! I'll still do this to the best of my own ability. BUT if it's upsetting just do the best you can, please do not do anything that'll make you go NOOOOOOOO!!! If it's just a "Well, I don't like many, but I am willing to eat 1 or 2 a day" (Fruits) that's fine. We do not expect perfection, we can progress over time.

Today at work they paved the parking lot where we are going to be. Looks like some time next week we will be next door.
I made hubby call and have the furnace looked at. Yep our 25 year old furnace is on its last leg. The guy said furnaces usually only last 10 years. Well quite frankly they should last 25-30 years. As the noises are bad lets get it fixed so we don't loose heat this winter.

My daughter was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Yep lets call Mom and give her a guilt trip. I wasn't diagnosed with it till after I had her.I wouldn't intentionally pass it on to her. I have it but nobody else in our family does. I know she's frustrated but I hate the guilt trips.

HR finally spoke to me. Exactly 11 weeks since I applied for the position to say that position is on the back burner for now. They have to fill 3 upper positions first. I said as soon as I heard about the mass exit I knew. This new HR guy is so wimpy have a back bone and just inform people. If you can't speak to me and I'm pretty mellow that's just sad. Probably next year some time. Yes it's a position I would like but if something else comes up I just may apply for that. Maybe I will love the new building and will be content in the job I have. Who knows maybe I can get the girls to agree on set schedules.

Presently they are all miserable about the move. I'm hoping for the best and blocking out their doom and gloom. They are thinking about staging a group walk out.🙄 They can do whatever I am not walking out. I like my job and it's A mile from my house. I am in that last 10 year stretch to retirement and I am enjoying myself. I'm confident enough in myself I won't be swayed into their revolt. I really don't think they realize how good they have it.

@Dianedoessmiles1 thanks for the step by step. I think it's our slow internet that causes me trouble. Finally got up in the middle of the night to give it a try.

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. I am so glad it is Friday. I cannot wait for the weekend. I am ready to relax. It is raining hard here this morning. So no morning walk or anything. I may do some exercising this morning. I feel like everything here is off since my Birthday. I just feel like there is a distance between us. It could be in my head, but I doubt it.

@SweetPeasMom55 - We actually talked about it and he apologized. It wasn't that I wanted stuff it was that he came home from work and immediately stated he wanted to go play his computer game. No hey I know we don't have a lot of money but do you wanna go for a walk or something. Spend some time together. That was my problem. When he realized I was not mad about stuff he apologized. Then apparently because I vented to my son, my son said something probably quite rude to my husband. So now I feel a distance between us. I am sorry your daughter also has fibromyalgia. I know you didn't intend to pass that on to her. I also was just recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and my kids are adults. Most people at their jobs don't realize how good they have it. If they stage a walkout they very well could get fired and end up in the unemployment line.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - I did talk with Joe. I had vented to my son and my son said something to Joe and now I feel like there is space between Joe and I. Before I felt we were inseparable and now I feel like he could walk out of my life at any moment and not care. I think I hurt him that bad by going to my son to vent.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Friday.
