@Tabatha_Cain I don't think it was bad you vented to your son. It lets your kids know that it hurts not to be acknowledged. Your husband is probably just having a moment. He probably figured he had this perfect image of himself and son. When son ripped into him that image got tarnished. Men have a way of sulking that makes us feel to blame. My husband had this moment where he said "The house is F-ing mine if we get divorced! Now old Sue would have walked away. I said Oh that's just fine but everything I paid for is going with me. Which is every door, all the plumbing was replaced and electric. I said Yes I am that vengeful that I would destroy this house. He never ever brought it up again. The thing was we weren't in a bad place he was venting over someone at work who was getting divorced and informing me not expecting me to fight back. It took him a day to tell me where his proclamation came from. But the shock of me fighting back took weeks for him to get over. Have faith and just be you.

It's dress down Fri at work and for a fee you can dress down for charity.🙄 Here's the kicker the donation isn't from the employees at xyz. It's just from xyz. Nope I don't dress down. Have a great day everyone!!

@Sweetpeasmom55, WOW That is AMAZING!! I am beyond impressed!! Did you figure out roughly by doing the work yourself how much you saved? WOW!! It looks brand new!
I agree furnaces are a huge expense and we wish they lasted as much they should. At times an old fashion fire place seems attractive until we remember getting the wood, chopping the wood, and bringing it in when the snow is up to our elbows, it'll need to be warmed up some (though I've seen it thrown in with snow and ice on it, that did scare me!). With D, I get what she thinks (I have the genetic cesspool for the family. LOL they appreciate it) but no parent knows ahead of the future. The alternative is your D was born, fibro though painful is livable. Speaking from experience, actually, I rarely think of mine since the heart and kidney stuff overtakes all of that. My Dad felt guilty over all I was going through when I said to him "Dad, if you didn't have me, I'd not know the beauty of life." He still "felt bad" but WHY? What he passed down, our family has passed down for generations. My parents also gave me some really COOL GENES!! I am grateful. Maybe if D looked at that part, she and you would feel better. I have a TON of freckles I hated as a kid, but now I LOVE them. They are a part of my heritage. My Mom and Dad are gone, but when I see my arms, I think of them. I look like them. I love them. My computer is older, so instead of using it on the wifi part, I hard wired it (I got a long ethernet cord, plugged it into the wifi tower, and dragged it all around the
outer edge of the room up to where my favorite spot is.
@Tabatha_Cain , If you apologize to Joe that should be good. I've vented to others about someone in order to handle my negative feelings better. Once I explain "I didn't want to hurt you, once i talked it out, it reminded me how much I love and adore you. I am sorry, would you rather I not do that with so and so?" it blows over. Joe also no doubt feels horrible he forgot and is struggling. Keep those lines of communication OPEN with love. Well, that's what is what I would do.
@Hicim705 I enjoyed your blogs! TY TY TY I did leave a comment.

@SweetPeasMom55 botanically some vegetables are fruits because they come from a flower
    Tomato
    Pea
    Cucumber
And I found a list with 7 more. See what you can find.

@nansbones7708 That's perfect I like those items. I'm taking my mom out shopping today and hubby already said do not buy large quantities of fruit you won't eat it! His exact words "Wifey don't do it! You get plain old miserable when you see fruit on your plate."

@Dianedoessmiles1 The can of spray paint was 23. but I had a 10. coupon so it was under 20 as I bought a cheapy plastic tarp from the dollar store along with mask and gloves and tape. All my co-workers are amazed. I just love You Tube. My philosophy is I can't make it any worse than it is.

    Good Morning Airport VIP Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Saturday. Joe and I got to sleep in. Joe was up at 3 am. He recent phase of getting up then. I got up at like 7 am. So I actually slept in 2 hours. Which is awesome. Today Joe and I are going to Gull Meadow Farms. It is near us and they have a Hay wagon ride, a corn maze, and they cell apple cider and donuts in their store. We are going to go do the corn maze. We are so excited. A co worker gave us the tickets because they were unable to go. So it will be fun to go do together. I have honestly never done a corn maze. So this will be all new to me and we will be taking lots of photos.

@SweetPeasMom55 - Thank you. It is better now. I just explained that he knew Quality time was my love language and when he ignored my birthday and spending time with me that hurt and I was really hurt by it. It had nothing to do with things or presents. It was the time I wanted. So he did apologize. He brought me flowers and chocolate anyways. That is pretty awesome that you stood up to your husband like that. We are getting better at communicating and doing our thing. We have only been married since 2023. So it is still a learning process.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - Yes we are keeping the lines of communication open. We are doing well now. We talked and I explained my side so we are good.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday.

@Sweetpeasmom55, LOLOL I did giggle hey, H knows you the best!! I make a yummy smoothie. It does not feel like a punishment.
    6gyc9dbzt1v6.png

1/2 cup Milk (Any type will do, not sure about oats, I often use almond milk)
    1/2 cup of water (cold)
1 cup of frozen fruit (I love triple berries -weird cause I DO NOT like most) blueberry, raspberry and blackberry)
1 small container of vanilla yogurt.

Throw it all in the blender (Berries frozen, not thawed) or I use a Nutra bullet until smooth.
Apple sauce is okay (sort of) I am very limited, but I'll do it for my team, and because I used to hate, really hate water, now it's a favorite. It's been a HH (Healthy Habit) in the past many times. I learned to like it. I keep hoping this for fruits and veggies. Well, I didn't cringe this time when it was mentioned. As you know I am one of the 4 over all leaders. LOL, We all talked it over, normally I'd want to head for the hills! This time I am thinking "Well okay" and I KNOW this happened with water. Maybe I'll eventually be a healthy eater. Maybe.LOL Love the philosophy! I'm a nice mix of both Mom and Dad, they were both positive people. So happy they are my parents (Both deceased)/
@Tabatha_Cain , Happy you both talked it over and all is well again. Ehhhh every relationship more so H & W has its growing changes. They do not stop each phase of life is a new experience. Even among friends, and coworkers the same. OH WOW!! I'd LOVE to do a corn maze!! Maybe I'll put that on my to do list. I Have a few crazy friends who will do them! THANKS for the idea!
Today 3 of my friends and I went out to eat. LOL 2 of us are NOT AT ALL Shy!! It was a very nice place, you absolutely need a reservation even on days/times one would think you may not, you do. It was beyond good!! I'll not give thought to the calories. Though we often go out the calories aren't usually up as much. A few days of being super careful it'll all be good.

    Good Morning VIP Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Sunday and oh boy is my body sore. That corn maze was amazing. I had a 50 minute video and we did not even complete the maze at that time. I literally just stopped filming because my arms were tired. They had 6 different punch machines in the maze and you got a special prize if you got all 6 punches on your card. We left with 5. My right hip hurting and Joe's calves were cramping from walking so much. 12,705 steps for the day. So we ended with 5 punches and were completely happy about it. What was also good we bundled up as the weather was 56 F and sunny outside and rode the motorcycle to the farm with the corn maze. It was awesome. We had so much fun for our date day, and it was totally free. A co-worker at work at extra corn maze tickets and gave them to Joe. So we only had to spend the gas in the motorcycle to get there. So awesome. Here is the map of the corn maze. You can see where we have some punches. It was so much fun.

    pbq9814bzqdw.png

@Dianedoessmiles1 - What is the size of the small yogurt container. Every store has a different size. I wanna get one as close to yours as possible. I would love to start adding that to my meals. That is awesome being able to go out with your friends. Joe and I were talking about that just yesterday. We have no friends. All our friends live far away and have lives so it is hard to get to see them. Like Joe's best friend lives in Hamilton and that is 2 hours away, his other best friend moved to North Carolina. So that is definitely a long ways away. I just don't have friends. My autism makes it hard for me to make really good friends. I always end up drifting from them as they stop wanting to hang with me after a while. They just don't want to be around me after a while. I attribute it to my Autism.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

@Tabatha_Cain , HOW COOL you got to the maze!! That's so cool!! I'd love to do one, not this year, but maybe next year. I keep hoping I'll feel better. With a heart specialist now, I am hopeful again!! The yogurt I use is Yoplait I think it's 6 ozs—the smaller individual size. Any brand is fine, make sure it's the VANILLA one, NOT the plain, etc. The strawberry would be okay, but I love the vanilla one. I am so sorry about the friend thing. It seems when we are single it's easier to maintain a friendship, many couples do the couple thing. I have a few friends who have autism, one of them is so funny though she faces many challenges. Her Mom is also a dear friend, I love them both dearly.

    Good Morning VIP friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Monday and I am looking forward to today starting. I got a lot accomplished over the weekend. We got the corn maze done as a date day, and then I came home and we did grocery shopping, and then yesterday we cleaned house. Joe vacuumed and cleaned the living room and I did dishes and laundry. Today I am feeling pretty good still. Oh and yesterday we also got majority of the leaves picked up from our front yard yesterday.

@Kurtize - Way to go on the Postcard.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - I am so sore from the maze, but afterwards Joe and I relaxed so as not to overdo it. I don't feel super tired at the moment so all is good right now.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Monday.

Well I can't wait for Saturday to come and go. We are in the process of transferring my Dad's car to my brother. Little sister has an opinion and keeps stirring the pot. She lives 12 hrs away but omg she's putting things in my parents heads. It's as soon as I leave she calls them. Then they call me. Then I have to explain why it has to be done this way. I said do you want me to come over and explain it again in person? I said the laws are different in NY than VA. Sometimes I feel like she enjoys making my life harder than it needs to be.

    Good Morning VIP friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Tuesday and I am hoping it will be a good day. I am really enjoying my job and all that. I do have to get more activity in during the day. I know I do a lot of stairs since I work at home and my office is upstairs, but I need to concentrate on getting some strength training in definitely. We also have to stop buying junk food. I am gaining a tiny bit, but not too horrible. This always happens when I hit this weight. I never go below it. It is such a struggle I swear.

@SweetPeasMom55 - So sorry about all that issue. Maybe have a talk with your sister and tell her the laws in the state you and your parents live in. Or at the very least tell her to stop causing issues. I am not very close to my sister so I would just tell her to knock it off.
@Kurtize - Good luck with the precheck for Don's surgery. I hope all goes well.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday,

    NATIONAL CAT DAY
National Cat Day on October 29th is the purrfect day to give extra attention to your feline friends.
    #NationalCatDay
Cats make excellent companions. They rarely miss you, but when they do, you sure know it. Awareness days such as this one urge pet lovers to adopt from a local shelter. The day also reminds us that neutering and spaying our furry companions helps reduce the abandoned population.
Shelters are full of cats and kittens in need of forever homes. These feline fur babies come with as many personalities as they do colors and coats. They curl into our hearts and will just as quickly remind us they decide who they love. Whether they were born in the shelter, surrendered or abandoned, 3.4 million find their way to a shelter.
When considering the adoption of a furbaby, take your time. Each shelter animal will touch your heart, so be sure to find a life-long love.
    • Consider your lifestyle. Will you have time for an active kitten or will an adult cat be more to your pace?
    • Make multiple visits before making a choice. Sometimes, the purrfect cat will choose you.
    • Spend one-on-one time with the cat so you have some bonding meowments and her true personality comes through.
    • Do other members of your fur family need to be considered? If so, be sure to introduce them to be sure their personalities mesh.
    • When you bring your new family member home, have a space ready for him to decompress and adjust to his new abode. Don’t be surprised if he hides at first. This is normal cat behavior.

    Hello team!
Sorry to miss the first two weeks of the challenge. We were in Italy and just returned on Saturday. It was an ambitious trip - 14 days - 5 hotels, 8 cities. Favorite stop was in Cassino, Italy - the birthplace of my grandparents. It was really moving. Then on to meet our tour in Rome.
Sights were great! The weather was hot in Rome and then as we headed to Pompeii the bad weather came in. Lots of rain. Hubby got a head cold as did many on our tour. I spent the last day of the tour in bed with food poisoning, likely from our hotel breakfast while in Venice. A third of the group were sick.
Slowly getting back into the swing. Still jet lagged and off my schedule but each day is a little bit better.

Hi all, everything went smoothly for Don, now next thing is surgery on the 5th. Very windy today. Kayla seemed fine at her doggie day care. They are having a Halloween party for the dogs and I am taking her and dropping her off for a few hours. I have to see if I can find a doggie costume or a scarf. Other than that nothing new or exciting. Hugs all.

    Good Morning VIP Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Wednesday and it is going to be a great day. I am thinking it will be as I am hoping to learn some more billing in regards to our Florida Package policies. The billing sometimes confuses me because it is combined home and auto and a lot of time the home is Escrow billed and they want to know about the auto. Well that is hard to do when they are combined. So I am still learning that part.

@Lopeyp - I am so glad you had a great trip. Sorry the last day you were sick with food poisoning. Hopefully that is getting better along with the jetlag. Just rest up.
@Kurtize - I am really glad things went well for Don. I am sure Kayla will love the Halloween party at her Day care. That would be awesome.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.
