209g ambrosia apples
87g cauliflower
100g field greens & wee tomatoes
100g mashed potatoes

I totally agree that some fruit is inappropriate in certain contexts! especially when on sale and mixed with sugar and/or milk and/or ;-) So let's look for PURE bunnies. White and fluffyβ¦ that's itβ¦ like cotton (not cotton candy) β¦ errβ¦. <naughty PAV>

Do you mean like pears poached in brandy are bad??? (not that I've had that anytime recently, but I'm suddenly thinking of naughty fruits :) )
1 -
was more along the lines of cocoa bunnies; though COFFEE bunnies are also fruits⦠right? <lol>
The pears poached in brandy are interestingβ¦. I don't see any problems with the pearsβ¦ not even with a little bit of brandy and flameβ¦ it's the OTHER add-ons that might be, err, added on that might be a bit problematic! Now without sugar, without ice-cream, without whipping cream, withoutβ¦. just pears and brandyβ¦ hmmmβ¦.. might be tasty anyways!
Keep to your balance Ms LKβ¦
A lot of times when I'm thinking of "interesting foodz"β¦. the "spot" deficit indicates that I am/should be hungrier than I think I amβ¦ i.e. it may be time for an apple (or pear!)

I've been really good on the balance front :)
The pears poached in brandy is just a decadent idea - I'm not even sure I like them - perhaps I'm just missing a splash of bourbon in my tea now and again :(1 -
I hear that Asian pears might tenderize you! :-)
0 -
Hmmβ¦maybe I could use a bit of tenderizing :)

Depends on how you're feeling after the extra walkies! ;-)

Hmmβ¦went off to read about Asian pears and their "calpain" componentβ¦hmmβ¦don't think I'll eat them ever againβ¦maybe not even pears! lol That stuff sounds almost villianous!

Naughty tea! Terrible Laurie! Even chocolate covered bacon does NOT count in spite of beaning me on the head!π€£
Nice bunnies tea! Howz the "puppy"? Is he taking you out to the moor at night?
1 -
The puppy β¦ is the puppy!
sheβs post op following eye removal for a tumour! Sheβll be back mooring soon!
3 -
sorry, that does look a bit gruesome! Prob being a nurse! Hope no-one is eating their tea!

poor puppy β and i'm eating chunky soup "roadhouse chili"β¦. with ADDEDβ¦ red sauerkraut! Don't ask me how the BLEEP this happened. I basically opened the red sauerkraut "just because". And as I was putting it on errrβ¦. the canine's white bread to eatβ¦ I spotted the can of chunky soupβ¦ warmed it upβ¦ mixed the twoβ¦ AND IT IS GOOD ACTUALLY!!!!!! (Yes, I've split it to two mealsβ¦. 524g chunky soup and 255g sauerkraut and 74.5g whiteπ± bread!)
1 -
puppy does look sad. You get it to the moor asap!

Poor pup :(
Poor PAV. Chunky sauerkraut soup :(
Thank goodness it isn't roadkill chili!
I just got in - starving - no time for supper yet after a very early lunch eaten from the fridge about a million years ago. I was very good though! Pulled two Laughing Cow jalapeno cheese wedges from the fridge - spread those babies on 2 Ryvita crackers - sliced up a nice BC apple :) and I'm good to go until time opens up for supper.2 -
That's a GOOD snack Laurie! That's the spirit.
And i LIKED my VEGGIE ENHANCED chili (with sweet red sauerkraut enhancements)! So that would be a HAPPY PAV!
2 -
I'm glad your veggie enhanced chili was good. Sounds interesting - I was just being a smart*(&
I was very proud of that snack. Mainly proud of knowing I needed to feed myself and doing it. My usual routine would have been to push through without eating and β¦ and then β¦ the bad thing would have happened.
But here I am almost three hours later making a good supper! Very bunny oriented. Green soup and a salad with some cubes of mozzarella cheese. And it was easy because I wasn't freakin' starving3 -
Woohoo!!!! (That's good hamster management)π
