Okay, it's been a really terrible month (year), and I definitely ate too much junk lately, but not 14,000 (4 lb. of calories) worth! It's very frustrating that it keeps bouncing up and down like this.

I'm quite happy with this loss, as you can imagine. I lost a lot of bloat this week, and hopefully a little fat along with it.
I did go to the gym a few times, but also gave in to my tiredness and laziness a few times, so that has room for improvement.
My food has been okay. I've been sticking to eating at home, although it wasn't always the healthiest food. I skipped lunch a few times, just out of time restraints. I'm not a breakfast person, other than my coffee, so I inadvertently was doing one meal a day. I found that I didn't mind it at all, and am considering making that a more intentional part of my routine. If I do this, I'll have to make sure that the meal I do have has all the stuff I need, like vegetables and enough protein. I'm still thinking on this...
Anyway, happy Friday the 13th. With the run of bad luck we've been having, it would not surprise me at all if something unfortunate happens...

OK, so I've been hesitant to put this out there, but here it is - I'm training for a half marathon! I've got 16 weeks to train, and I'm excited to get back to it. Before COVID, I did numerous, but then life happened, and I gained 60 pounds and fell off the exercise wagon. I will spare you the gory details, but then I was diagnosed as Type 2 diabetic. Needless to say, it's been a journey, but my A1C is now down to 5.2! I'm feeling better, and last October, we joined (rejoined) the Y. Slowly, I've been getting back in shape and now walking 3 - 5 miles a day. Figured it's time to step up to the next level. Wish me luck!!

@FWSWCindy Congratulations on committing to the half marathon! I have also been loosely training for a half. There is one in late October and one mid November that I'm considering, depending on some things in our schedule I'm not quite sure about yet. But I am pretty sure I'll do at least one of them. It'll be my first race over 10k!

CW: 147.0Very happy to see the loss, and glad all the walking around NYC helped to offset the eating. I’ve had a hard time with motivation this week. I ate on plan, but have been feeling a bit wiped out since I came home. So instead of being hard on myself for not getting enough done (which is my usual practice), I’m leaning into it a little bit, allowing myself to be a little lazy and low-key, knowing this too shall pass. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

Good morning, y'all:
Yesterday, I only had 68 oz of water, so this morning I got up early, drank a bottled water first thing, besides the one I sipped on throughout the night AND walked a little over a mile around the house, while throwing fuzzy mice for Betty to chase…we BOTH had a good workout on Caturday!!!
Who am I kidding…everyday is Caturday for this cat, but our weekends are precious because I get to be home with her all day! She's my snuggle buddy!
NSV for me…I've walked every day and today is day 14 of my 30 personal challenge…my steps are coming back up…AND I stopped taking tylenol each morning for my leg. Had a great week this week…came home last night and baked my wonderful baked chicken thigh recipe so now I'm set! I have enough leftovers to get through at least Wednesday/Thursday! Only have a few regular household chores to do and getting ready to read for a bit.
