How time is flying! I can't believe I will have been a working woman for nearly a month already! I still don't really have a "job" yet in the office, typical nonsense where I applied for one job they decided they needed me somewhere else but not sure what that is. But I do what I can and the days are going by quickly. I got my first paycheck in the mail and DH wants to frame it. I just deposited it in the "house fund".

Good news is that we got the "will serve" letter from the water company for the fire hydrant last week! The last piece for the county to approve the house plans. We ended up get a lawyer consultant to draft a ghost email for us and we submitted 51 pages of documentation that we followed all rules and the lot was legally split. I am not sure what went through the water company's mind….they just back off? or are they giving us a letter now and going to come get us later? I have asked for something in writing from the County. I suspect part of the resolution may be that neither side can prove where the water boundaries were in 2021. But it is what it is and we "should" be home free.

I started tracking calories again, not really a goal but just being aware and maybe thinking before I eat something. I find I snack a lot more in the office than I did working from home. DH wants to get the Oura rings since they are allowed in our facility.

DH and I have a list of things to do. We had rats in the travel trailer last summer and in my efforts to clean up with the shopvac, I cracked some water valves. They were plastic and 17 years old so you could probably sneeze on them and they would break. I need to get the trailer in the shop. Our shipping container that we store mom's stuff in and tools is damp, we need to get on the roof and touch up some rust areas and maybe seal it with something. Then there is the endless fight of weeds and now giant badger holes. We collect the kitties used litter and dump it down the holes and it seems to work…untile they move LOL. Life is certainly not boring.
