@micki48 I did noom a few years ago. I found some of the articles interesting, but stuff I already knew. It has the tracker like MFP, but they label foods green (good), yellow (ok), red (bad). They want you to aim to eat less red and more green.
I slept for 12 hours last night and feel refreshed today. I woke up in the middle of the night on Thursday with TERRIBLE reflux. I have no idea what I ate to set it off. I get acid reflux that bad every few years or so. Couldn't eat hardly anything yesterday. My weight was down today π€£ I'm taking it easy on food today, but did get to the park and walked a bunch and then I am going to mow and work in the yard π

@micki48 Noom has some good stuff but I think they set the daily calories really low.
I had a super busy week. Monday we went to the lake to visit family and were there pretty late. Tuesday I had a friend out to visit and my husband and I had massages later that night. Wednesday my daughter took her driver's license test and passed. Thursday and Friday we took the kids to a big indoor water park and stayed at the resort. Food hasn't been great this week and I rarely hit my macros. I did hit my calories daily and had a ton of activity. My scale is up 4 lbs and I'm hopeful it's just bloat from salt and sugar. Today I hit my macros and got a 50 min walk in. I used the sauna this morning. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a better weigh in tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is my MIL's birthday day and that means more eating out. I will plan ahead for sure!

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on Noom. Good to know that they set calories too low. I appreciate all the feedback. I will give it a try when I find out how to start. I may need to wait til I get back to school.
For those interested in the butterfly report, I let another go. Two went into chrysalis but one didnβt form right. Not complete. So it wonβt make it. And I have 8 new babies. Now that I write this, Iβm feeling like I may have already posted about it. Sorry.
Made a cool egg sandwich I saw on IG today. I love eggs. You have to have the calories but it can work. You put the eggs in the pan, then I put a bun on top. Flipped it. Added cheese and a half piece of bacon I had. Fold the sides in and fold in the opposite direction. Trust me the video does a better job than me of explaining it. It was yummy. I also added arugula. π

My first time in the red since May, boo π actually I'm impressed with myself for having a green streak as long as I did! I had a feeling this last little summer vacation weekend might bring my weight up. Next week will be better!

@mkksemail The Partner-Up Activity challenge ended on Saturday.
I need your activity minutes for Thursday through Saturday to finish tabulating the results. Please post ASAP.

Holy crap @jguldi11 β¦ first time in the red since May? I can understand that it feels disappointing but DARN GIRL, that's an amazing and impressive thing you did there that very few people could say they've done! Time to start the next streak.
Back from Vancouver and back to work today, both literally at my job and figuratively with my weight loss. My weight always has an uptick when I fly, so I have a few days to work off the water weight. We had a great couple of nights together in Vancouver.
Thanks to all who have reported steps already.. keep em coming! I'll be back tonight to report mine and catch up on everyone else.

@jguldi11 , @frankwbrown , Partner Up minutes posted! Jackie, sincere apologies for being an unreliable partner! I joined the challenge to try to get myself doing something other than steps after taking too long of a recovery period following my too-high-for-me steps in July. And while it did help me do that, I did not Partner Up very well ! (Plus I kept getting 400 Bad Gateway errors when I was trying to post over the weekend, too, boo.).
Hi Teamies! trying to bring myself back onto a productive even keel. With only moderate success :p.Cheers, mk :)

I have not been hitting my step goal this last week and I 100% blame the smoke. We have a fire burning close enough to where I live to bring in lots of smoke. Not so close that we are on an evacuation notice, yet. The smoke is bad enough that it is causing issues with my asthma and my sinuses. Oh well. This too shall pass and when it does, I will get my step count back up! β¦ also, the race this next week should help.

@MaddawgMadsen stay safe with the fires and smoke

@jguldi What an incredible green streak!! You deserve an award π₯ πππΌπ Fantastic!!!!
Met my step goal today and yesterday walking around my house Logged all my food, even when I went over. Hope to lose a tiny bit more before school starts in a week and a half.

@ashleycarole86 & @micki48 thank you both! Hopefully I'll have an even longer green streak this time.
@mkksemail no worries, I understand that life happens! We were in 1st place!!
Oh no @MaddawgMadsen I'm sorry to hear you have a fire nearby causing poor air quality. We've had air quality alerts due toneildfire smoke quite a few times this summer and it really does make it a challenge to be active outside.
Monday was a successful day, I spent most of the day cleaning and did some meal planning.

@jguldi11 That's an amazing streak! Even though you had a gain, it was really small. Glad you had a good day!
@micki48 Good job logging your food. It gets old but it's so necessary. Keep up the good work!
I had a check in with my weight loss coach today. I was worried my IN Body scan at her office wouldn't be great because I gained 3 lbs on my water park trip a few days ago. My scan was good! I gained 1 lbs of muscle and lost 2 lbs of body fat. I am hanging on to about 2lbs of water. We looked at my blood sugar data and it's still hard to see any solid trends. I have spikes almost every time I eat even with well balanced or low carb meals. So far the only consistent info is that I need to move after EVERY MEAL! Just walking around and doing 20 squats seems to help. I'm also trying to limit how often I eat per day. I'm trying for 3 meals or 3 meals and 1 snack and no eating after 6:00 PM if I can.
