    02/01/2012 - 600 squats and 8200 so far. I have noticed that it is taking more and more squats for me to feel the burn. Adding some weights definitely helps.

    Day 42 - 200 squats done - Total 5200 - Who knew I could do this many? It is absolutely awesome with the changes that are happening, feel like I am getting a new pair of legs along the way. SO LOVE THIS CHALLENGE!!

    02/06/2012 - 300 squats and 9500 so far. I got sick this weekend, but I will continue exercising but maybe not so much until I get better.

    I just started 5 days ago and have done 100 squats for four days. I will add a few to catch up...I think I like this!!!!!

    :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: cswearingen, welcome to the challenge:bigsmile: I think most of us who are still posting started after the beginning of the original challenge.(it started December 6). There are over 100 people in this group and no more than 10 of us still posting.

    :flowerforyou: I love this challenge and now am able to do more that 100 squats a day......I plan to keep on going even after the 100 days is over and after my 100 days is over so I'll still be here to post with anyone who started late.

    today.....Monday February 6 220 squats :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: I am experimenting with doing sets of 20 slower or with dumbbell raises to be more challenging.:bigsmile:

    It is definately good to see more people post, I'm sure we have 100 members, it just means more posts, more support and I will continue regardless. love the changes that I can see, how strong the legs feel, the toning, the muscle definition, it's a great feeling.

    I stepped it up an extra 100 in the last few days, can't help but be inspired by you muffruff, Thankyou! Will eventually try for 500, Go Girl!

    :bigsmile: I just watched some videos about doing squats and saw that there are some different kinds......I like the ones I'm doing....i also got some ideas about using dumbbells to make the squats more challenging....many of my squats are done while holding a dog on a leash or brushing and flossing my teeth, so holding a dumbbell won't work then :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: I think it was unrealistic to think that I could maintain 240 squats a day even on days with strength training, or four hours of dance classes so today i will be happy with 200 squats. :bigsmile:
  • OMG!! So did my first 500 squats, thought I would give it a go, push the legs, well well well, amazing what you can do if you set your mind to it. Thankyou muffruff. I am definately feeling the burn, will see how I am tomorrow morning. I'm off to do more stretching.

    I can't believe some of you are doing 500 squats a day, that is magnificent, great work people,
    I have done my 200 for the day, I think I'm training a little hard and finding it difficult to keep up, but I will keep up :happy:
