    Still out of town. Head cold still hanging on. Had to work hard to get this challenge in tonight. :yawn:

    Victoria was wonderful......we parked the car in Port Angeles, walked onto the ferry and I walked most of the time during the 90 minute ferry crossing each way and then we walked all over downtown Victoria all day, sitting down to buy shoes, eat lunch, have iced tea, and have dinner......we had a blast. :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

    Forgot to log the 100 squats for day 3 and got some news today that took the wind out of me but I'm going to the gym tomorrow and will make up for it then.

    Hello Everyone,
    My name is Esther, Thanks to Clover5, and her encouragement, I am going to give this challenge a shot.
    I do Squats, they are hard for me, and I can't necessarily say that I like them, but I have heard they are really good for shaping up and toning down.
    I mentioned to Clover5, that I see many do also spin classes which I also do, and this I can say I really do enjoy.

    :bigsmile: Welcome Esther.....I do plie squats and they are much easier to do but equally good for toning. I alternate days of squats with days of a yoga pose called warrior III which is a balancing pose that's a hamstring stretch. I've never done a spin class but I've heard great things about them......good luck to you.

    :bigsmile: Welcome Esther! I love spinning. I go at least 5 times a week when I am not traveling. I did squats for my first round in the 100 day challenge. I moved to strengthening my core in my second round of the challenge. I am getting very toned in my thighs and butt from spin class. My quads are growing nicely. It is now my favorite form of aerobics. Good Luck to you on whatever you try in this 100 day challenge.
