Water
To find your current water total for the day on the mobile app: Go to Dashboard Select Library Scroll to bottom The chat bot could not answer the question. I hope this helps.

Let us name the units for a recipe
When I set up a recipe, I can make the whole batch, and then indicate how many servings it makes. The app does the division and lists nutrition/serving. Then we can add multiples or fractions of servings to the diary. This is great. But when I make that recipe again months later will I remember how large I made those…

My Recipes search enhancements
I was recently trying to find a recipe for something I had made previously but wasn't able to find it. Over the years I've added a lot of recipes in Fitnesspal - 31 pages of them when I look on the website! - and trying to find them is NOT easy. I think it would be helpful if the recipes I added in Fitnesspal could be…

Track "added sugars" like you do sugar
its recommended to keep added sugars to under 25g/day, having the app pick up added sugars from foods logged would be a fantastic help to not have to track this offline
-
Separate Categories for Natural Sugars and Added Sugars
I’ve noticed the app lumps all sugar under the same category, regardless of the source. I think it would be helpful to make a distinction between natural sugar and added sugars so users can see what portion of their sugar intake is coming from sources like fruit, dairy, and veggies, and what is coming from processing or…

Let us turn off achievement splash screens
Sometimes I miss a day, or I'm forced to skip a day of recording. Usually it's because I'm traveling with others and not in control of what I'm fed. Sometimes it's holiday and I don't care to worry about dietary minutia. But sometimes I just screw up. After a missed day, for the next 10 days, the app gives me a…

Adding Public/Database Foods and scan barcode foods to your personal food list
Not sure if this has been suggested already and/or is already a feature, but is it possible to add food from the MFP database and/or scanned food to your personal food list? Yes, I understand that you search and add that same item to your diary daily, but having it easily accessible to your personal, smaller food list…

Return ability to search food history by brands
Please consider returning the ability, when adding foods to meals, to search the recent history by brand name, in addition to the descriptor. Ex #1: When trying to add a serving of Ruffles chips, although I have the Verified food in my history, I have to remember to search 'Original' to get the quick-add to appear, or I'm…

Saved meals changed and I don't like it.
Before when I added a saved meal to the dairy, the components of that meal were added. Now it's adding the meal itself as an item. This is a problem for 2 reasons: 1) I like to see the items to remind myself how much I used when I set it up. This avoids creeping portion sizes. 2) I don't always make it the same way. I set…

High Fiber Meal Plans
I recently tested the premium meal plans feature. I choose Flexatarian as my approach because it was described as "focus on unsaturated fats and fiber-rich food." However, the recipes that were selected weren't very high in fiber at all. So I swapped out all the recipes for recipes where beans were the key ingredient.…

Defect in Food Diary
Hi, there’s a defect in Diary feature of the app where we log our food relating to the date labeling up the top. It’s showing yesterday’s log as “Tomorrow” (Today is correct as “Today”) Tomorrow’s also as “Today” The next day after tomorrow labelled as “Yesterday” (And then the day after that as the correct day of the week…

Save a recipe straight from the diary...
I make a TON of recipes for my cookbook and for my clients, and I typically build and tweak recipes from the diary because it is much more efficient to quickly build and tweak and see the calorie and macro results by building a bulk recipe as a meal in the diary. It would be SUPER helpful to be able to then tap the "…" on…

Old way
I prefer the old fitness pal.

Edit recipe ingredients
hear me out, many of the meals I’m getting in the meal planner call for rotisserie chicken, this issue with that is those generally have skin, fat and salt. I want to be able to swap rotisserie chicken for chicken breasts (boneless, skinless and trimmed of fat). Example, the easy buffalo chicken recipe just as easy with…

Scan recipe and have it add into MFP
Instead of scanning a picture of a meal, why can't the app scan a recipe list of ingredients and add it directly into MFP instead of having to individually key in each ingredient and weight. If there is technology to translate a photo into ingredients then the app should be able to read text and convert.

Calcium goal in mg instead of %
Many of the users track calcium to help prevent bone loss. My MD has recommended a certain amount of mg per day. It would help tp be able to track mg to adjust supplementation. Is MFP 100% based on the older 1000mg, 1200mg, 1300mg??? If I knew that much i could do the math and alhough it is a pain in the ***** it would…

Stop the frustration
When I'm filling out Fridays menu, it keeps going back to Saturday (today). Why can't it stay on the date I'm working on? It changed my daily goals in the days summary to something I did not enter. This is annoying and frustrating!

Copy your own Recipes to add
I have suggestion, i think it would be a helpful improvement for those of us that create our own recipes but every now and then we make it again and it may differ slightly. Eg:- it would be excellent if you could create a recipe save it. But say you want to make it again but can’t get the exact same ingredients OR you just…

Customise water intake daily goal
I would think this is common sense to have this feature at least in Premium. MFP to have the premium price, you need to deliver.

Fast 800 options
Hi there I follow the Fast 800 diet, which going by Facebook and other platforms is very popular. However for so long I (we) can not end the day and get any statistics as MFP says we haven’t had enough calories and tells me I should have at least 1000. I think when we pay for the premium, these functions should be…

Water intake reminders
I looked everywhere, so apologies if it exists and I managed to miss it, but as someone who's struggling with drinking enough water, it would be great to have an ability to set reminders to drink. In the reminders section, only found options for the different meals or reminder to log

Stepper control Button
Quality of life fix - rather than just a plus sign to add I can use the stepper button to add the food and adjust quantity all in the same place.

More support for other health apps
I've been using this app for over a year, and I have a huawei smartwatch, which I've tried to vinculate many times before but it's very complicated to do so and other people I know who use MFP have said the same, Itd be nice to have more options for health apps.

Adding in meditation
While I understand that meditation and deliberate breathing exercises aren’t necessarily identified as activities that help lose weight, one could argue that there’s significant upside in logging here anyway. I don’t like to jump around health apps and this is my preferred notebook for my health. I bet I am not the only…

Meal Planner with access to 'my meals'
The meal plans are currently limited to the MyFitnessPal recipes. Access to a blank meal planner that we can then pull our own recipes, along with the MF recipes, into would make weekly meal planning much easier and avoid having to use other apps or spreadsheets. Being able to scroll across a whole week that easily and…

Bring back larger recent foods search
In the most recent android update (in my experience), the recent foods list has shrunk considerably! It is now a grand total of 49 foods long, to be exact. Before, you could basically find any food you'd ever logged via recent foods (to an extent). This new, seemingly artificial, limit makes logging previously logged foods…
