I'm using this page: http://www.summitpost.org/appalachian-trail-mileage-chart/593282 to work out where I am on the trail. So far, I've done 57 miles and would have just left the Tray Mt shelter, Georgia! :D

Ok so I was looking at some info on the trail and found.... * that a true hike on the trail costs about $3000.00 which equals $1.50 per mile. so if u put $1.50 in a jar for every mile u walked u would end up with $3000 * to hike the entire trail it would take u 5-7 months * it extends from Springer Mountain, Georgia, to…

Thanks for the show of interest! Our first official weigh in will be tomorrow but even if you miss that it doesn't mean you can't just jump in! We all work at our own paces. Just so I have a single place to keep track of my daily steps and running total. P.S. I'm in the UK so we do our dates differently LOL WEEK 1: 4/1: 2.98 5/1: 1.03 (2nd Christmas. No walking, lots of eating *blush*) 6/1: 2.63 7/1: 3.68 8/1: 5.33 (15.65 so far) 9/1: 10/1: So, I assume we're counting Friday to Thursday?
