Coping Strategies
So, we're all here because we're on the same crazy up and down ride and trying not to fall off, right? Still, it happens. If I splurge on something and go over my limits, I find that it's easier to keep it from turning into a complete 'off the rails' scenario if I sit down and plan out what I'm going to eat the next day…
When to eat
I'm curious to know if it's better to eat before or after a work out, OR does it even matter? Someone recently told me that I should eat after a work out because my body is still burning calories. What are your thoughts on this?
Eating on work days
When I am off work, I do not eat as much. I feel more in control. I am more physically busy and not chained to a desk. It is harder to try to stick to a food plan when I am at work. Exhaustion comes into the mix and I am prone to reach for anything to quench my hunger.
