That's my journey right now. The recruiters in my area didn't offer the chance to due PT with them (then again, I didn't ask), but I've been doing fine on my own :-). I have about 5 more pounds to drop to reach BF% standards and then I should be able to start enlistment the enlistment process.

I'm actually shocked at how different I look. Granted I've lost 45 pounds so far, but sometimes I just stare into the mirror amazed at how my face has slimmed out. Also when I sit on the public transit, my knees thighs don't touch the seat that's in front of me.

This is certainly a "detox" I've never heard before. Are you talking about the whole putting lemon juice in water ordeal?

Once (sometimes twice) a week. In the morning after I wake up and use the bathroom and before I eat breakfast.

Good taste in shows :+1: Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. When I lost 40 pounds, I went out and bought some new clothes. When I'm down 50 (7 more pounds to go), I just want my reward to be meeting the Body Fat standards for the Army and starting the enlistment process.

The other day I had to keep pulling the strap up on my favorite bra. Sad day :-(. I mean I still have boobs, but I would like to keep what I have left lol.

I'm notorious for dipping fresh fries into vanilla ice cream or milkshake.

Coconut. I will tolerate coconut sugar in used in cookies or other baked goods, but that draws the line.

For me it started when my uncle used to literally by me all sorts of candy every day along with a 1 liter of soda. Also my mom, being from the south, cooked fried chicken A LOT. All of that plus little to no knowledge about diet or nutrition at time along with eating anything I wanted whenever I wanted.

I personally think that men have an advantage when it comes to the weigh loss thing due to just naturally having a higher metabolism and not having to deal with shark week, and maybe a couple of other things*shrug*. But I don't think that will automatically make things easier for them. After all, while a woman's body…

A couple of things... My plan is to meet body fat standards for the Army and Enlist to start a medical career in the military. So I either wear my army shirt, beanie, or both whenever I work out. Second, when about a year or so ago there was someone who I thought was a friend that would always make these little snide…
