I'm at 1240 since my job requires me to sit at a desk for 8 hours :-P. I always (intentionally) go over on protein.

Loyalty and generosity. Also, my sense of humor! I tend to surprise myself with how witty I can be lol

The only advice I can think of is to set the time aside to take your butt to the gym (unless you prefer doing exercise at home) and have the best work out you can. Sometimes it takes that one time to get pumped and rejuvenated :-)

That once upon a time, they used to eat paste.

The hardest thing for me to give up is pizza. If my job orders it, I will have a slice or two if I've worked out that day and save my lunch that I brought for the next day. However I do miss being able to order a medium with cheese and roasted red peppers, and scarfing it down by myself without a care in a world while…

Congrats! Hopefully I'll be joining you soon! :-)

No, it is not impossible. There are times where I haven't lost any weight, but still lose inches. Also, please eat more.

Yup! Seeing so many people talk about how detox shakes/mixes works from (insert program name here) and how it's changing their moods/attitudes. Water does the exact same thing. Save your money!!

Don't put too much stock into what a BMI chart tells you. It only takes two things into consideration, your height and weight. No body structure, muscle mass, BF, etc. This is what I look like and a BMI chart says I'm "obese"...

This is something I see a lot from people lol

I've seen a few people from here say they tried it and ended up gaining the weight right back.

Some of my biggest dreams seemed unreachable to me because of my weight. Since about the 5th grade, I've always been big. Since Middle school, I've always been designated as the "fat one" in the group. Almost everything I wanted to achieve in my life felt unreachable because of my weight. When my step dad passed, I stood…

You should never use MFP estimation of calories burned. It goes way over. You could probably be burning only half of what it's giving you.

Up to you. I just skip it. I turn into a water balloon during my period. No point in weighing myself when I already know there's going to be an increase due to water weight and hormones so I just keep it moving.

With trying new exercises and working out muscles that aren't used very much, you're going to build a little muscle and retain water in the process. Your clothes being looser indicates that you're losing inches, which means that you're most likely losing fat.

My eating pattern tends to be 8 am, 12 pm, 3 pm, then somewhere between 6 and 7 on weekdays. It tends to change whenever I'm hanging at my friends house. I just focus on trying not to eat anything past 8 pm.

2 pounds a week is maintainable, safe, and effective. It's all about what works for the individual and what goals they have. I have my weekly weight loss goal set to 2 pounds a week. My overall goal is to get into the military. I want to be enlisted by May and I'm well on my way to doing that. Yes, there are more calories…

I'm 5'9. My starting weight was 261. I initially made my weight loss goal to be 80 pounds. So far I'm 39 pounds down with 35%. I still 41 pounds to reach my weight loss goal, but I'm not sure if I'm going to have to re-adjust considering I have a bigger frame than usual at my height. Like someone said before, it's all…

You're fine. There are times when I go about 2 weeks without dropping a pound and then it will suddenly come falling right off. You will learn that the body does some crazy (and sometimes annoying) things when you're losing weight. Even if the scale isn't showing the results, you're most likely losing inches anyway. Keep…
