@shaumom - yes, you are right on the nose! After the 6 month mark, baby is likely eating more and more food, therefore taking less breastmilk. I know by the time I returned to work when mine was 1 year old, we were only feeding at 'Bed' and 'Breakfast'. Our bodies do amazing things. I love your explanation!

Starting in August 2014 I lost 21 pounds in 8 months, the next 4 pounds took 5 months! Then pregnant very close to goal weight, had a long breastfeeding journey and lost the majority of the babyweight and tried losing the last 17 pounds in June 2017, 14 pounds took a full year and was 3 away from pre-baby weight. I get the mindset of the OP - not the 900-1,000 calories though, that is dangerous. It was my birthday weekend last weekend, and when people asked me how it was, I said "Great, I ate whatever I wanted", and that scared me a little, because I should always be eating whatever I want... I get it OP.

I have used pictures of where I took the measurement, and in some spots - bicep, waist and calf, I use a freckle! Then I know I have the same spot everytime! :D

I usually stand, bend and plant hands, thrust feet back fully extending, then fling feet back towards my hands, crouch, then do a big jump reaching as high as I can. So, no pushup involved in the ones I do. Also reluctantly - and not as often as I probably should. :D

I was told to increase my protein recently too, as i don't feel satiated very long. I'm an ovo-vegetarian as well (who knew there were so many!), and average about 50g per day. Going to increase nuts and shakes and hope to hit a higher amount each day!

Another self-confessed night owl here, and a big fan of sleeping in. It helped me to think that if I wake up at 6 and do my workout at home, I will only be losing out on those 20 minutes of sleep. That thought has made all the difference and it gives an accomplishment for the entire day!

Yes, it can be done. I have lost weight at home, you just have to find something that works for you, and stay committed to it on a regular basis - Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Also, MFP helped a lot, too.
