How much did you lose and how long did it take?

62 pounds. The first 12 took 6 months as I lost and regained the same 10 pounds several times.
I finally stopped and took the time to really figure out what worked for me that was also something that I felt I could maintain forever. After that. I lost the remaining 50 pounds in 6 months. In maintenance now for 2 months. The 50 pounds came off with no real plateaus and fairly consistent rate if loss. I did, however, continually add elements to my exercise routine throughout the 6 months.

100lbs in 11 months.
Have 10lbs to go. Hoping to get the done in the next two months.
I have been averaging 1% of BW per week. So at the start (260lbs) it was 2.6/3lbs and it is now 1.5lbs a week. This is pretty aggressive but not unhealthy. I eat 2000kcal a day.3 -

From 194 down to 130, thats 64 pounds in about 9 months3

2 lb per week. 250 to 223 so far in 3 months. Expect to drop another 20-30 this year and next year will be the remaining 10-15 give or take.
Thats w a couple plateus at the beginning. A cruise and wedding, etc.
It depends on how much you have to lose, age, hormones, activity, bmi, stress, work environment, macros, water intake, etc.1 -
I'm 5'5", 62 years old and very sedentary. In 2005 I had a lapband installed. I started out at 251 lbs. I lost 15 lbs. then stalled. Had the lapband removed a year later due to complications. I maintained the weight loss. in 2015 I got serious. I joined MFP and the first year lost 70 lbs. The rest took me a year to lose. My lowest weight was 143. I finally settled at a range of 145 - 150. So it took me 2 years to reach goal basically.3

I lost 60lbs a decade ago. I've crept back up a bit and am looking to lose 15 lbs gradually.0

5'2 , 53 years old-Lost 37 lbs 8 years ago, About a year to lose(slow, kept calories higher). maintained 108-113 ever since. Weightlifting was the key for me, Then and now.0

So I’ve lost 23 pounds in about 8 months but I also took 3 weeks off of tracking in October & December which definitely slowed my progress.
I still have another 20-30 pounds to lose which I’m thinking will take me another 8 months to a year..
Personally I choose to lose weight slowly because I wanted to enjoy life and not deprive myself too much, I also wasn’t working out for the first 7 months of my journey where now I am working out 4-5 days a week.
For me it’s better to go slowly and be able to maintain my loss.5 -
40 pounds in 10 months, so over the whole time a pound a week. It bounced a lot but came off a little faster at the end and a little slower at the end.0

LOL, I'm down about 30 pounds total over 6 years since my highest weight in recent memory. I lost 10 lbs slowly over 3-4 years, then last year I got serious and am down more 20 lbs. I am aiming for another 10-15 lbs to get to the lower end of my BMI.0

39.5lbs Dec. 2016 through Sept. 2017. 7lbs Oct. 2017 through June 2018. 31.4lbs July 2018 through Mar. 19, 2019. I've obviously fluctuated with how seriously I've tried to hit a calorie deficit for months at a time. The only thing I've always been consistent with is logging calories. I've done it every day since Dec. 19, 2016. In the past six months I've finally developed some more consistent habits with lifting weights and, eventually, walking/running. I'm 36 and currently at my lowest weight and best cardiovascular shape since literally elementary school.0

I didn’t technically need to lose weight. I’m female, 5’6 and I was 144. I carried it well though (blessed with a legit hourglass figure) and I didn’t look that heavy. I was on the high end of a healthy weight and BMI for my height and gender. And I was concerned about that high end turning into overweight. And I’ve got a scary history of cardiovascular problems in my family. And to be quite honest, I wanted a flat stomach and thinner thighs and to be able to wear a smaller size and tighter clothes. So, I started losing weight in 2017. And it took me about a year and a half to go from 144 to 119. I just did the half pound a week option. And I lost most of the weight I wanted to lose first. And then I lost the last 3 pounds when I got a bad case of the flu in November. And I started working out daily that month. And except for a recent minor weight gain of 3 pounds, which I’m actively working to lose, I have successfully kept it off. And I’m down 1 pound already.2

Starting in August 2014 I lost 21 pounds in 8 months, the next 4 pounds took 5 months!
Then pregnant very close to goal weight, had a long breastfeeding journey and lost the majority of the babyweight and tried losing the last 17 pounds in June 2017, 14 pounds took a full year and was 3 away from pre-baby weight. Sooo close!
Then pregnant again, miscarriage at 12 weeks, and steadily gaining for the past 6 months.
